This hotel just had a nice feel about it. A little unusual and a little quirky. I just stayed in a small double room but it was very well designed and didn’t feel small at all and had everything I needed including a decent sized work desk. The ensuite was good too. I loved the Japanese style sliding entry doors and the huge shower. All the staff I encountered during my stay were super helpful and friendly. La Biccicletta, the Italian restaurant on site served pretty decent Italian food too!!

I wasn’t mad about the colour choice of the bedroom doors. I would get rid of the fluorescent green colour completely. It cheapens the look. I did like a splash of colour against the black, white and grey of the walls and carpet but I would go for a more ‘elegant’ colour choice. Perhaps a very dark red or wine colour. Something classier.

Great location, staff were exceedingly friendly and helpful, were welcomed with a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine and given free hot breakfast for one day of our stay (which was surprisingly good - cooked to order rather than buffet style).

The room we were in wasn't the most private as it faced directly onto a footpath. The design of the room is also a bit dated and could be better maintained, e.g. powerpoint on one side of the bed had been covered, and while overall cleanliness was good, nooks and crannies in the bathroom and elsewhere were clearly challenging to clean thoroughly.

Our room was, large, comfortable, clean and very quiet. The bed was comfortable. The location is excellent, close to the centre of town as well as to the university. Staff were friendly.. Breakfast was pretty good. The buffet selection was not huge, but it was varied and of high quality. The breakfast plan we were on included one cooked item as well as the cold buffet.

Parking is not free. Breakfast was quite expensive for what it was. And the accommodation was quite expensive. But Canberra is an expensive town, so you have to expect that. Overall we were very pleased with the accommodation and service.

Friendly staff who were accommodative of our dietary restrictions especially with breakfast options,nice location close to Canberra centre,clean rooms and comfortable bed.Thanks for complimentary house keeping on one of the rooms but attention could have been paid to replacing consumables in the bathroom.

With the weekly housekeeping option for one of the rooms we booked ,we would have appreciated instructions on housekeeping during check in .

The hotel is very well situated for visiting the local places of interest. Less than 10 minutes drive from the National Museum, The National Memorial, Parliament House and the Botanical Gardens. All the staff were excellent and the room facilities well above average. This was my 2nd stay & would be my first choice for future visits.

Enjoyed being able to dine in the restaurant (and not leave the hotel after a long drive there). With limited seating available inside, we had to dine out in the courtyard and fortunately it was just warm enough to sit outside. The standard breakfast was sufficient. The reception, wait and bar staff were all very friendly - the quality of service lived up to the hotel’s reputation based on the reviews

I really like the location of the hotel. We were able to walk around the city. There were a lot of good resto around and a nearby convenience store. The staff were very very friendly. The room was clean; bathroom was superb.

This is a personal level but i didnt really like the design in the ceiling. It was a bit busy in my eyes, making me dizzy. I'm not really used to beds with springs so a bit less comfy.

The location was great as I could walk into the city and also I could explore ANU. The bed and pillows were very comfy.

It might be an idea to leave a spare roll of toilet paper in the room as we ran out and I had to go to the front desk and ask for another one. Also, perhaps 2 sachets of hot chocolate (like the tea) would be good rather than just one.

The room and bed were very comfortable. I like the precinct and the outdoor area - much nicer than a corporate type of hotel. I also like the old Canberra buildings. Staff were lovely and very accommodating.

I would like to have been able to open my window for some fresh air. The bathroom was clean but a little tired and worn. And the silly little espresso coffee cups were annoying - you can't make a cup of tea or a normal cup of coffee in them.

Location for breakfast was great but what they had to offer and layout of food was only average.

Not too much to choose from on the table. Ordered scrambled eggs that took half hour to arrive with only handful of people in restaurant at the time. The next day tried again and arrived within 10 mins. Food tasted nice but just wish there was more to choose from.
