Breakfast was great

Well the toilet seat was loose i.e., seat anchors need attention. Bedside lights U/S The shower taps need new washers - unable to shut then off….. When we arrived we were given the option of two rooms One was upstairs the other had the shower over the bath. As 82 year olds with knee problems-the stairs were not for us and scrambling into the bath shower could cause serious injury. However, the checking person was able to find us the ground floor room with a walk-in shower. I understand the logistics of pairing people to rooms but this booking fell a little short of the mark Kind regards Tony Harnett…

Neat, clean, tidy, comfortable. Great location for our purpose. Staff were very friendly and assisted us promptly when needed. Very accomodating, and very reasonable price on a busy long weekend.

Unfortunately had to ask for multiple items on different occasions that weren’t available, such as butter in the breakfast room, body wash in the shower, tea, hand soap, and our towels were forgotten to be replaced on one day. But these items were very quickly received once it was brought to staff attention, including late at night, so we were very appreciative of the response.

The room was pretty good and clean. Very straightforward experience. Nice and quiet. It came with a spa bath which was cool. The location is ok, but it's a bit far to walk to anything, you still need to drive really. The internet worked. Water was hot. Fridge worked. Nice to have the nespresso machine and milk provided. Checkout at 11 is pretty nice.

Lock on the door was broken. The table in the room is useless ,you can't even put a drink on it. I'd prefer a desk or a lounge. The bathroom grout was a bit dirty. The bath smelled like bleach. I wish there were some bowls, plates and basic cutlery to help with eating in the room. The breakfast was pretty basic. Would be nice to have some fruit and yoghurt.

Clean comfortable room which was quiet. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast included cereals, bread/toast, spreads, tea/coffee and juice. One of the few places I've stayed that included lactose free milk, soy and almond milk.

The spout in the bathroom is too low to fit the kettle underneath to fill it up when boiling water to make tea or coffee. You have to fill a glass and transfer it to the kettle which isn't ideal. There should be a jug to make the process more efficient. There is a coffee pod machine in the room, but in the dining room they only have instant coffee. It would be nice to have a coffee machine in the dining room.

It was very central to everything. The street was quiet during the night. Well lit up. Easy to get into and out of. It was so nice to be able to walk into reception instead of having to text or get keys out of a box. It was starting to get quite late so I appreciated this small thing. I was also given the choice of up or down stairs so that was nice! The shower was so hot and high pressured with new coat of paint and new tap ware. Tv, air con were both fairly new so the air con was quiet. Breakfast was simple but did the job. Beds and rooms were clean and I was ok walking barefoot inside. Staff member was very happy and obviously enjoyed meeting people. It is great to come to somewhere and be met with such enthusiasm especially after a long day arriving.

The blinds covering the windows did have gaps that the curtain didn’t quite block out so it did get kind of bright when the sun came up. The fridge did get a little noisy at times during the night that woke me up however my daughter slept through so wasn’t super loud. The bath is a spa which is great but did make it a little difficult for my daughter to get in and out of without help. Unsure if there are disabled rooms/rooms with walk in showers. Be worth double checking when booking if accessibility is an issue.

A beautifully appointed motel, very attractive reception area and a very friendly and informative check-in. This was a lovely room, stylishly decorated for a motel room. The room had everything we needed for a night, bed was comfortable. There was a generous supply of tea/coffee/sugar and milk and bulk toiletries on the wall. There was a clear directory about options of places to dine for the evening. Clearly there had once been a lovely, large restaurant, bar and function room (probably before Covid). This dining room was where we enjoyed our free continental breakfast - cereals, toast, spreads, juice, tea/coffee and a variety of milks. There were even gluten free options, which is so great to see! We enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in the area.

There was a little traffic noise. There were no power points near the bed and the bedside lamp nearest the bathroom didn't work. Would have liked a couple more spare pillows. The room had been renovated with modern colours and fittings, but we were disappointed to see mould along the bath. Note to self - put shower curtain inside bath before showering! We found the huge raindrop shower head a little too big to enjoy a food, strong flow of the shower and it was difficult to fill the kettle at the bathroom sink.

The room I stayed in was of an older style and was exceptionally clean also comfortable. Being very cold (winter) the heater worked a treat warming the space. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly during check-in and check-out. The property is located close to town and where I had to go. The bed was comfortable, snug and cosy. Sheets & bedding were clean, crisp, and refreshing. Watching TV from bed was relaxing and pleasant. The comfort of the bed allowed me to have a quality, restful sleep which was restorative so I felt energized in the morning. The dining room in the morning was clean, warm and inviting. The breakfast was very simple yet satisfying. During breakfast the staff were eager to please, polite, pleasant, helpful, kept the premises clean, and kept the food well stocked.

There wasn’t anything I disliked. Yet to be picky I will just say the coffee/tea cups were just too small - bigger ones would allow for a more satisfying cuppa in the room. A microwave in the room would be easier for occupiers than walking out of room to dining area in the cold (up to 100m in my case) to heat some food. I was sadly disappointed the Sauna was not functional at the time I was there. I hope that is repaired for next visit.

I really want to give 10/10 because we really like the place and the room very clean and the bed very comfortable, the housekeeping was very nice and friendly. but our clothes burned out in the dryer I have been looking for staff to help me not one staff in the front desk. other guest help me to open the dryer but too late our clothes already burned, we been yelling couples time no one hear me, the guest in the room close to the front desk heard me, other guest told me in the morning that the receptionist is wearing earplugs. also happened to them they yelled couples time on they arrival she didn't hear them because she was wearing earplugs 😔. I find that's rude she working at front desk (customer service) she should not be wearing earplugs specifically she not even in the front desk. Don't worry I will be back.

Clean large room. Air con / heater worked well. Comfy bed. Breakfast was good but we didn't know about till second afternoon. I went to get extra t-bags and milk at reception on second day and was shown the dining / help yourself area and breakfast choices.

No exhaust fan in bathroom. No bathmat. Table in sitting area is hard to balance cups or glasses on. Pool in sad state - un-swimmable until cleaned. There was a lot of noise coming through from the back door of our room.
