We were looking for a cheap place to stay when our plans for camping were changed by the weather. This place totally surprised us in a great way. The rooms were compact but clean with everything you need including cupboard, fridge, desk and plates with a small patio overlooking town. Nice, Hot shower. 11kw three phase charger for EVs. Plenty of space to park trailer. Friendly staff who gave us a small bottle of fresh milk for tea. We had a quiet night on a comfortable bed. The complimentary basic breakfast was an unexpected bonus, choice of four types of cereal, three types of toast, juice and tea and coffee. We were sad to leave!!

It is on the outskirts of town in bad weather 2km was too far to walk in for a meal for us, however our food delivery driver found the place no problem. Light sleepers may be disturbed by neighbours.

For a continental breakfast ( not cooked) it has good variety of cereals and bread. good selection of spreads , jams and milks for lactose free. Tables were nicely set and spread out enough that you could walk between them with no problem carrying your plate. and the tables were not too close together so your could carry on conversation without being overheard. Also being Pet Friendly was a plus for us!!!!

Would have liked Dinner provided on site, however, we had a delicious Indian diner delivered to our room so we did not have to go out.

Very nice place to stay. Good parking. Clean. Comfortable. Breakfast was simple but you cannot complain as this place is good value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful. I arrived late due to having driven all day and they gave me step by step directions as to how to check-in when I got there so I didn't have to spend ages trying to move. The location was just out of the main shopping street which was good as it was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay there again. Great place to spend a few days or as a night stop over.

Welcome on arrival was excellent. My room was ready and had another door to make access to take my dog to the grass area to toilet easy. The room was clean and well laid out.

The screen door was missing from my sliding door this would've been good to have. The other rooms appeared to have theirs in place. There needs to be an area for people bringing their pets to be able to eat within the restaurant area, outdoor dining is a suggestion with gas heaters for the cooler months. I say this as when staying in a motel with pets you are not meant to leave them in the room alone.

The managers are EXCEPTIONAL! After a few hours on the rd, their warm welcome and friendly smile was perfect. Their friendliness alone will see us as return visitors next time we pass through town. Other things to mention - * older but clean, comfortable and roomy rooms. * inclusion of a simple breakfast was AMAZING and made for an easy start to hitting the road again in the morning with the kids fed and ready to go. * free wifi * the little extras like real milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were fantastic and loved by the kids. Thanks so so much - we'll be back.

Rooms are up on a slopping hill, so away from any road noise, had chairs with table outside the rooms, so a great spot to relax and enjoy the nice view of the township, parking was straight outside the room with abit of cover and as we had the motorcycle was great 👍

You require transport to get to any of the township for eating facilities, but as you are close to the township, we were able to get delivery from most of the food outlets 😁

Quiet Close to get back onto highway next morning to continue travel Staff friendly motel clean well maintained .Lovely to be able have breakfast in the dining room ( no charge) before heading off on next days travels

Some fellow travellers had friends visit and the friends parked in our allocated car space whilst we were at dinner Domino effect causing inconvenience especially when there is a visitors car park

Large room of 2 comfy beds (large queen & single), clean linens, & clean amenities. The kitchenette had a fridge, microwave, good size bench, and sink. All cutleries and crockery. Coffee/Tea making facilities plus toaster and kettle. Sofa, table and chairs. There are plenty of power sockets in all areas, a desk & chair. A swivel mount flat screen digital TV to access all areas. A large dress mirror on the bedside wall. The 2- door hanging closet had ironing facilities and extra pillows. There's a bedside radio & TV switch. Aircon. Plenty of lighting in all areas and at bedsides. Hair dryer & toiletries in large ensuite. 2 huge panels of sliding glass doors with block out drapes, enters onto front patio with lacework table & chairs for outside cuppas or quiet evening drinks. Great hot water & water pressure. Under cover parking with this room. Breakfast available in restaurant with views. Elevated motel high on hill with views of Armidale. Short drive of 4 minutes to CBD. Other shops & fuel 2 mins drive. Management is highly welcoming. I highly recommend this quiet and well-appointed property. We will be staying here again.

Nothing to dislike.

The Managers were fantastic, so helpful and friendly. It was great to have the breakfast and what was provided was much better than I expected. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot and had good pressure.

The main "disappointment" was that the advertisement said that electric blankets were provided in winter and there was no electric blanket on our bed. There were also no additional blankets to put on the bed; thankfully we had brought two small woollen blankets with us that thankfully we were able to use. The first night we stayed got down to below zero so it was very cold for us!!

The highlight of my stay was the exchange with staff who were friendly, helpful, responsive and really made my stay enjoyable. Nothing was too difficult or inconvenient.

Some maintenance issues arose and should have been fixed earlier e.g. smelly daughter's room most likely due to a plumbing problem. Grateful for the air freshener offered, but that would only be a temporary solution. Shower screen in my bathroom was stiff, got stuck and needs fixing or replacement. I was told this would be done in the coming week. The accommodation otherwise was comfortable, good value and run by delightful people.
