Country Comfort Armidale was the perfect stay for my family and I. We had a 2 bedroom unit that had been renovated not very long ago. There was an extra TV in one of the rooms which was nice to have. The room was double glazed on the street side, although outside noise was minimal. The room was heated with a split system aircon. Very happy with our stay. Thank you to the team at the Country Comfort! We'll stay again next time.

The restaurant messed up our meals for both main and dessert. Their phone also wasn't working, so we had to get dressed to order, then do the same when the meal came and was incorrect. We didn't bother telling them that they stuffed up the dessert too because it just wasn't worth getting dressed to walk down again. In saying that, maybe we could have gone down in our PJ's, but it wouldn't have felt right!

I liked EVERYTHING. The room was so cosy on a wet, cold and dismal evening. Couch in room was good quality. Bed so comfortable and bed decor was current decor - most inviting. Complimentary large boutique bottled water. Generous bathroom too. Close to many eating places. We had dinner at a nearby hotel. Good sized desk in room plus round eating table for two. Room was also spotless. The communal lounge for guests in suites had fire going and room also nicely decorated to make your time there enjoyable. Unfortunately hotel restaurant was closed when we stayed on a Mon night. I would happily stay there again and am recommending to friends and family.

Nothing I didn’t like.

I was so impressed with all aspects of our stay here! The room was spotlessly clean, very well appointed and laid out and the beds were very comfortable. The gentleman who greeted us at reception was friendly and knowledgeable and he gave several excellent suggestions for dining nearby within only a few hundred meters (which we took and can recommend the White Bull for tasty pub food!). This lovely place is excellent value for money and we would definitely stay there again in future. Thank you for offering a great stay and great value for money - not easy to find these days!

Nothing to dislike - Everything exceeded our expectations!

We had an Exec King room with Kitchenette and it exceeded out expectations. Firstly, the room was quiet. The decor was fresh and attractive, the room was relatively spacious, great sized couch. Nice bathroom, good shower, plenty of hot water. There were plenty of bonuses including lots of parking, french doors to a grassed area with outdoor table, free washing machine and dryer (much appreciated), bottled water, nice choice of teas & coffee, and a really, really nice guest lounge with fireplace. The manager (owner?) has clearly taken a lot of care and consideration for their guests. All of the staff were just lovely

For a 5-night stay we would have appreciated some drawers in the room, as the wardrobe has only hanging space. The practice is to have no information booklet in the room, so we weren't sure what facilities were available or where they were located, so access to some type of information would be appreciated.

The staff were welcoming and recommended dinner and breakfast options close by. We went to both recommendations and they were delicious. The rooms were very modern and spotlessly clean. Car parking was easy and it was central to town. Yummy biscuits and fresh milk in the room along with toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave. The in-room menu also looked great, but we didn't eat at the restaurant (or order room service). However, after a long day of driving it is great to have that option available.

I could not fault this place at all.

Our room was a total surprise and the layout was excellent, the bed was comfortable, the amenities in the guest lounge were used by us and the whole experience was more than we expected, would recommend this venue to all other travellers and friends. We were welcomed by the lady in reception, she was friendly and helpful pointing us in the direction for an evening meal. When leaving the next day she was helpful in letting us know the best way to exit Armidale and wished us well and was just the most friendly host.

There was nothing not to like, the restaurant was not open but really I would be nit picking at the most.

So when you travel to the country towns - and you go to the brands you know - you expect a certain amount. Well in this example I have my expectations exceeded. The first was check in - so simple - so well explained. Milk times 2 for my tea - not a worry in the world!! Then the room - refurbished recently I would say and the decor tones, chairs, table, kettle, bed, heater....it goes on. Such a great home away from home. Then recomendation for food next door - superb! Thankyou so much right down to the warm "Hooroo" on departure. Superb and perfect - oh and simple onsite parking also.

The staff here are wonderful, the rooms are refurbished and clean. They contain everything you'd need for a short (or long) stay. Location is central and very easy to walk everywhere. Staff also accommodated an early check in request (which has happened before too) without hesitation.

I usually book a King Suite room in the east wing (which I HIGHLY recommend), but they were unavailable this time. As a guest in the main building, I didn't have access to the guest lounge which was very disappointing. HOWEVER, they lovely staff were understanding and accommodated my request to sit by the common room fire.

LOVED the location. After a long drive with kids the location was close to an open park (across the road) and a huge adventure playground (an easy walk away). LOVED the room service. The food was so delicious and wholesome! Real food with real ingredients! The staff were really lovely and friendly. Offering us advice on things to do locally. Friendly and approachable. The kids loved the touch of the country biscuits! Beds comfy. Internet fast.

I can’t be sure because I didn’t ask but I think the motel has undergone a big refurbishment. We have stayed once before and this time the room we stayed in was really upmarket. Beautiful bathroom, lovely sofa, very comfortable bed, great air conditioning and very quiet considering we were near the front of the property. The added bonus was The Cottage Restaurant right next door. Fabulous food, wine and service.
