Great location, wasn't bang in the middle of the main street and horribly busy, it was just back from everthing which made it nice and quiet. It is walking distance to dinner, shops and coffee. Everything you need is right there. Discountrd dinner at the local sports club was good. I am a female traveling alone with a large 4WD. Staff were friendly and helped me park my car, I also felt safe the entire time. Rooms were clean and comfortable with a good size TV. Coffee cup, bowls and cutlery all provided in the rooms. I hade a great stay, thanks.

We enjoyed our stay in a 1 bedroom apartment. The room was dated but comfortable and clean with a lovely renovated bathroom. Unfortunately, the lounge area only had 2 single beds and no couch and it was difficult to comfortably watch the main TV. There was another TV in the bedroom. Our trip was based around a lawn bowls event and this is the perfect location to stay, within easy walking distance of the Club. You also receive a membership card to use at the Club and receive discounts on food and drinks - bonus! Ample parking is available and the location is in a very quiet neighbourhood to get a good night's sleep. We would definitely stay again, though the room rate per night was a bit high for the age of the property.

The location was great for what we needed. The room size was perfect. Didn't feel like we were staying on top of one another.

We had multiple (3) instances where we asked (with the provided sign) for our room to be serviced and it was not done. Staff were quick to rectify the problem and were very apologetic about it, but after the 2nd time it just became a little frustrating. If this hadn't been an issue, there would be very little for me to say I didn't like about the place.

Great central location. LOVED the cafe/coffee shop downstairs. Clean rooms. Pool towels provided and the kids loved the pool. Great air con. Comfy bed, great sheets and warm linen. Loved the extras like board games in common areas. We had two other family in two other rooms stay also (over Christmas) and all were happy :)

Stove in kitchen would have been great (lots of saucepans and frypans etc provided) but only at the end of stay did we find one small electric hotplate tucked away in cupboard. Prices were high but it was Xmas so perhaps better priced rest of the year

Everything was immaculately clean. The sheets may even have been brand new - so clean and crisp! Staff were friendly, helpful and personable. I forgot my phone charger and they were able to allow me to borrow one - lifesaver! Location is close enough to all amenities, but also quiet and peaceful away from any traffic noise (not that there’s really much traffic in Ballina!)

Maybe it’s my parking skills, but I found it very difficult to park my car in the allocated parking bays. I have a station wagon. They have plenty of spots, so I just chose one out the back that wasn’t undercover as I found it easier to manoeuvre the car out there better.

The lady at reception was very nice and helpful.

When I first drove onto the property I wasn't sure where to park as there were reserv spots along the front which were mostly empty. There was a county council vehicle pulled in behind me. He beeped his horn so I drove forward and that didn't seem to please him so he beeped me again. When I moved right forward he parked his vehicle and called out to me " are you right" he called. When I said I was booked in for the night she said I should have parked back up in the reserved spots.WTF.

Handy location for visiting Crowley aged care but also close enough to shops. Great cafe for breakfast.

Room was a bit dark & they missed our cleaning service. Also we’ve stayed here a lot over the years & I do think the standard has slipped - iron & ironing board were broken / hard to use. We were told that our service was missed because we didn’t hang the sign on the door (which doesn’t seem right). We were given clean towels when we spoke to the manager so it wasn’t a big deal but it just felt a bit unsatisfactory.

We had a studio room with queen and single bed. Spacious room with a kitchenette set out suitable for a long stay. It was clean. The location was close to Sporties bowling club, shopping, and not far from the beach. We were to have an upstairs room but I asked if possible for ground floor room as my daughter has a knee problem and stairs aren't good for her. They gave us the only room left which was greatly appreciated. Great size tv, wifi was a good speed as well. Small table suitable to dine at, as well as a table and chairs in the courtyard.

The only thing we didn't like was the toilet paper hanging on the counter on the other side of the door instead of beside the toilet, so you had to reach for it.

The whole place was more interesting than the rectangular box the photos depicted. Tropical gardens full of birds, with regularly swept paths so there weren't palm and tree trip hazards, and our room had a little back outdoor area that we enjoyed. It genuinely was dog friendly, as advertised. Staff we met were great! Friendly and helpful.

The toilet made little noises that our dogs heard and barked at once or twice the first night, until I shut the door. Outdoor lighting was possibly still on daylight savings times and not on when we needed it, but on most of the night. Menu in our room was old. My partner really wanted the Baked Beans from the room menu. Not now available in the Cafe - but the food we did have was great and so was service.

I love that you can vacation with your pets. We had our own courtyard for pup. She was allowed inside. To me, that's the best holiday 😉😃 I have never seen a pet friendly motel like this, and I hope more people take a page out of their book and we see more like this. I was beyond impressed with how they folcitate pets and the thought that was gone into creating that ❤️

One air conditioner didn't work, but that wasn't a big deal. We were happy and comfortable regardless.
