From the high street the motel does not look very imposing, but on entry the facade has been recently painted and welcoming. The rooms was a reasonable size, with all the needed facilities. Like the exterior it was recently painted and the fittings were bright and cheerful and all appeared to be new. we felt right at home. There is no reception, but a phone number to contact reception. We thought we had ordered twin beds, but our initial room had a double bed. We phoned Reception and a very helpful assistant ( Louise? ) promptly found us another room, we were impressed. We noted that reception was at the Australasia Hotel across the road and went there later for diner, well worth a visit.

There is no reception, key access is via a locked box, it could be a bit tricky for first time visitors.

Loved the decor, the bed was very comfortable, location was excellent, so convenient. Nice quiet room, no. 12 with water views. Would ask for this room again.

Check in was a hassle. Arrived, reception closed, read notice, had not received any text or email so rang mobile no. Was given instructions to press down button on no. 12 to release key. After many attempts to do so with no success, had to wait for help. When the girl arrived she had no success either and had to reset before we got our key. As a couple of seniors we found this quite distressing after travelling a long distance. I know these things can happen and the girl was pleasant (sorry didn't catch her name) to us this is a strange way to operate a business. Having said that the room was perfect and we would stay again and hopefully no hassles next time.l!

Amenities were included (kettle, toaster, microwave oven, fridge, dishes, dish soap plus sponge and hairdryer). Good location with easy check in process. Comfortable and clean.

The only sink in the room was the bathroom which could be slightly awkward for washing the dishes. Porch light that was on during the night with no way to turn it off. Could be bothersome if you’re sensitive to light while sleeping. It did turn off at some point during the night but not while we were going to sleep.

Such a quaint and cosy space. Personally I loved the decorations, they make the space feel so welcoming. There's even a desk which was great for some work I needed to do. Fantastic location. Overall a really comfortable and enjoyable experience.

As others have mentioned, the walls are pretty thin, which can be noisy depending on who your neighbours are. Also, parking may be a little tight because of people parking large vehicles there. Quite a no-contact, no-response experience. But things flowed easily enough.

The location to all services was excellent. The bathroom was small but I loved the style, and for what I needed it was perfect. The room covered all the basics I needed for my short stay. I will definitely book at Coast Motel again.

Very little. Should’ve booked a queen bed as I’m probably too tall for the double I booked but literally can’t fault the room at all. And another guest parked in my spot but otherwise I can’t fault this hotel at all.

The room has been tastefully renovated and refreshed and is maintained in excellent condition, definitely not a cheap run down motel! It is located in the centre of town but still quiet! Everything was clean, well maintained and of better quality. The room included a microwave, kettle and required crockery/cutlery. The motel is a very short walk to multiple cafes, pubs, etc for food and drink options. It is also next door to a Coles.

The only downside I saw was that the lighting in the main area (beds) was not bright, you needed to open the blinds to get bright light.

The location was great, on the main street in Eden so was easy to walk to find places to have something to eat and drink. Also Coles was next door so easy to stock up on any items you may have forgotten to pack. Loved the colours of the exterior, different colours for each room so it all looked bright and cheery.

We could hear plumping being used from next door room, wondered if they could hear us when we had our showers but it didn't last long enough to annoy us. Also found it hard to fill up kettle from bathroom sink, used a cup to fill it. It wasn't till later I saw bottled water in the fridge, was this meant to be used for making tea/coffee?

Comfortable bed, lovely bathroom and shower, the amenities provided were wonderful, decor and interior were really nice. Everything had clearly been thought about and very nicely done. Staff were very helpful on the phone. Felt like a little home from home - sad we only stayed 1 night!

Nothing really, just a couple things to note: - They text you your lockbox code, so make sure your phone number on booking.com is correct! (Could improve this by emailing also) - The lockboxes are on your left just as you drive into the property (we couldn't find them initially - another guest had to point us in the right direction).

The motel room is centrally located, beautifully styled, warm and comfortable, and with ammenities such as cutlery and crockery which made it easier for me to organise my breakfast. The bed was too firm for my taste but there were plenty of blankets and I was warm and cosy. The staff were excellent and I was allowed to check in early as I’d arrived in Eden earlier than expected.

We loved this straight away. Out of five motels we have stayed in over the last week we feel like this was the best. It had everything we needed and the little touches that many a lot (plenty of milk and even biscuits). Central to everything. Walking distance to the best ever Edam Fish and Chips. Definitely on our list to return, but for a longer visit.
