The splash park was awesome! The pool area was lovely, with a gradual entry into the water and the deepest part being 1.8m. We LOVED the hot spa as it was a little cold when we stayed (May). The short walk to the beach- perfect beach for little ones and some calm waves to dive under. The cabin was very modern, with everything we needed including a couple of containers and salad/mixing bowls. The staff were all very lovely especially the man who wandered around the park, and who unlocked/locked the gates to the playground pool etc.

The park is a little drive out of town (only about 7 minutes) and was a little scary after dark, but we just took our time and it was fine. No metal tongs in the cabin, only plastic salad ones which were tricky when I cooked food in the oven. Not a big deal at all though .

We stayed over Easter break and the place was going off. Young kids running around, riding bikes, and having a ball. I'm a bit past bike riding now, but staying amongst the action was very fulfilling. This Property would suit a young family stay, for 3 to 4 days. In order to take it all in. The property has an extensive beach frontage, so fishing was also an option. The place quieted down around 10pm. Everyone looked to be exhausted. We would highly recommend this property for people of all ages. Looked to be very well managed.

A minor issue, for the sake of finding a negative. The Park access/exit gate was frustratingly unreliable. We were locked out a couple of times, but it balanced out. We were locking in just as many times. I understand security in such a property is important, but so is access.

The location was perfect, and the facilities were excellent making for a very restful stay. Very close to a beautiful beach made it very easy to go off and do different things. The waterpark is a lot of fun for both adults and kids.

We checked in after hours, but our key wasn't left where the staff had communicated. We had booked for four people, but there wasn't enough crockery in the cabin. The mugs were chipped, and the sheets on the bunk were dirty. Despite these issues, I would stay here again. The after-hours phone number was answered promptly, and we were able to check in. In the morning, I informed reception about the kitchen and cleanliness issues, and everything was resolved within an hour. The staff were apologetic, friendly, and very helpful.

Great location, affordable and family friendly. Park staff were great to deal with and there's a relaxed small community vibe with other travellers. We enjoyed the pristine beaches, park facilities with activities for the kids. The calm beaches allowed our kids to play in the shallow waters, whilst gaining confidence and water safety skills. There's plenty of great fishing options and areas nearby to explore.

The self-contained deluxe two bedroom cabin was well appointed, however we felt it was overdue for some essential maintenance, with relatively basic things like fly-screens, blinds, dishwasher and shower door needing attention. The onsite facilities were great for the kids, though the pools and spa needed a clean as there were small stones and sand in both. We were disappointed with dining options in Eden which were quite expensive, closed in the early evening and limited menu for a gluten free family member. Recommend planning a visit to the local Coles for supplies and taking advantage of the free BBQs in the park and cabin cooking facilities. None of these negatives were deal breakers. We had a great family holiday and look forward to returning again.

The location is magnificent. We had a cabin so close to the beach. The park is close to the national parks, which also gave us access to beaches and walks. The facilities at the park are wonderful. The kids loved the pool and jumping pillow.

My kids had some digital withdrawal problems, but we got over that. They will probably remember it as the place with no internet.. I did also have some problems getting lost, as my Google Maps didn't load very well, and so I missed the turn off for a particular beach. I ended up in a road my car couldn't handle and got a flat tyre. Probably best to make sure you get directions locked in, when in town.

We like everything about this place. The staff was so nice and very welcoming and so helpful. The cabin was so nice and very spacious and clean. The cabin had everything in it. The price we pay for the cabin was so affordable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is heading up to Eden and has kids. It the perfect place for a family with kids cause it has a pool, a water park for the kids too. It also has a few BBQ area for the family to have a BBQ and enjoy the outdoors. The whole park is so clean and it is so peaceful.

The parking you can only park 1 or 2 cars if there more than 2 cars going it has to be park at the front entrance of the Discovery Park which can be a hassle for some people, other then that it such a good place to come and stay.

Location , facilities, staff it was all amazing. There is a pub walking from park called seahorse inn and it is great food . Water park and spa is great . We loved the fact that we could just hop in the beach and walk every morning and evening and even see some rain deer in the yard .

Where we stay cabin is 20 plus years old and hasn’t been refurbished. Air con didn’t work as much and old equipment. Location is at its best and cleaning could be improved and I think it is time for a renovation.

The staff was super friendly and very helpful. The Delux water park cabin is so good, very spacious, clean and has everything we needed in a cabin especially the washing machine and the dryer was much needed due to that we end up staying another 3 more nights. Also the water park for the younger kids and the play ground and the swimming pool also it so good cause they a few BBQ areas aswell. If there is family that has young kids this would be the perfect place to book your stay. I would highly recommend Discovery Park to all my family and friends to come and stay.

The thing I didn't like much was the parking. If going more than 1 car then 1 of your car have to be park at the front entrance which can be a hassles.

Shay was AMAZING!!! I visited with 3 other groups in our family, but (stupidly) we didn’t book together. So we were allocated room 135…..everyone else was down the other end near the water park. I went and chatted with Shay and he moved us to room 22, next to one of our other family members! Thanks Shay!! You are ace!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Shower dripped and toilet button was very hard to press

The cabin was comfortable. The location was fantastic, we were right by the beach and could easily go for a walk. We could hear and see the waves from our verandah. Rainbow laurikeets sat on the plants outside our verandah and entertained us.

The tap in the bathroom leaked, but it had been temporarily repaired with duct tape, so we suspect it was waiting for a plumber and a new tap. Sometimes those things do take a while in the country.
