This is a great place to stay in Eden. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious, and the kitchenette was really handy! Good TV and you can even borrow from a good range of DVD movies from the office for free. Location is great, right in the heart of the town and within walking distance to all shops and amenities. The view of the ocean from the room I was given was fantastic and relaxing. Staff also friendly and experienced in the local area. Would definitely stay here again.

Can't really fault it. The Internet connection in a rural area such as Eden may at times be sketchy, but keep in mind that this should not necessarily be blamed on the establishment itself.

The lady in the reception office was friendly and had a little dog who barked to let her know people had arrived. Everything in the office, the room and indeed the whole town, is directed towards the love of whales, lol. Even the ice cubes in the freezer in the room are fish shapes! The motel is on the main street within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Good sized room with a sofa. Comfy bed with beautiful sheets and pillow cases. The bathroom is a bit dated, but has a large shower area and a super gorgeous bright light above the mirror. The Great Southern Inn Hotel is 2 minutes walk away and has a great bistro for family meals.

It would be good to have a better lock on the screen door so that you could sleep with the glass door open and enjoy the sea breeze.

We were greeted by a friendly staff member and the check-in process was quick and easy. We had 2 rooms and they were directly beside each other as we had requested. Both rooms had nice sliding patio door entry, were a good size and with a nice kitchenette area. Just outside the rooms was also a small sitting area with a table. Both rooms were both clean and comfortable, and provided free extras such as biscuits, and box milk in the refrigerator. The location of the motel was very convenient, directly beside a delicious takeout pizza restaurant and a short walk from the main strip where we found a lovely cafe for coffee in the morning. After leaving we realized we had left one of my children's favourite stuffed toys at the motel. Upon contacting them, they very kindly shipped the toy to us. That really meant so much to me. Thank you Whale Fisher Motel, we really enjoyed our stay!!

I have stayed here earlier this year in the room beside the one I was in last time. I arrived after the reception had closed for the night, however there was a message advising me how to get into my room and detailed instructions on where the room was. The bed was comfortable and has good pillows. The shower was great especially after such a long drive. I would certainly recommend this motel and would stay again if I am down that way in the future.

My only issue and it’s really not even that is the bed moves when you sit on it, would probably be a good idea to put some stoppers on the coasters, again not a huge deal.

Such a nicely thought about property. Little trinkets and art up, lovely blue coloured walls, rainbow coloured bedsheets, striped towels. It felt like a home from home and a welcome reprieve from the standard white wash baron look that most hotels run with. Lady at the counter was cheerful and sweet. Free dvd hire. Comfy beds. Nothing worth noting. Maybe a larger bowl for using microwave would’ve been handy and a pair of scissors. That’s me trying to find fault though…

What was not to like ! The owners welcomed us warmly. The motel is well situated in the main street. Our room was at the back of the property and very quiet. The motel Is older but we could see there had been upgrades to our room. It's funny the things that some motels have that are just very convenient . Our room had a sink ( always a plus), a shower caddy which was wonderful ( many motels have nowhere to put soap shampoos etc), the bathroom had towel rails and hooks and plenty of shelf space and there was a decent size freezer in the fridge. There was furniture on the little balcony area where there was a view out to Twofold Bay. The beds were very comfortable, there were several power points and most all..... exceptional value for money! I recommend a stay here

Fabulous location - easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go - great pizza place just a short walk away. The room was lovely, clean, tidy and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the kitchenette was well equiped with kettle, toaster and fridge.

Unfortunately the hot water wasn't great on the morning I left so I had a cold shower, but when I mentioned it, they said they had been having issues but thought it was sorted - so they would look into it. I am sure this was a one off as it was perfect the day before.

I was in a refurbished room with a queen bed. The facilities were attractive and comfortable and the price was very reasonable ($110). The bed was extremely comfortable with heavy quality bed linen.

While the bathroom was very well renovated, the shower head didn't provide the water pressure I have enjoyed at some motels. The shower however was adequate.

We had an amazing view to the ocean. The room was a good size with quirky features. Bed was comfortable. It was quiet, good value for money and centrally located. Appreciated that owner checked we were okay with with stairs as we were one floor up.

Like all motels in Eden it was a old building, but it well maintained and well run.

It was a great location. No 5 star accommodation but the place was clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay. Staff were very friendly. Our room (14) was on the ground floor with a reasonably good view to the water.

The only thing I would say I didn't like was there was no soft light in the bathroom if you had to get up during the night. It was bright light or nothing.
