Wildlife. Kangaroos jump straight over to people. They were often sitting just at the front of the cabin, there were ducklings while I was there and a huge goanna. Proximity to beach. Proximity to national park. Activities in the form of facilities, games room, mini waterpark with slide, lap pool and jumping castle. Excellent grounds layout with lots of BBQs, central kitchen and amenities, access to a comfy looking TV room. Easy late check-in.

The spa was a toddler pool. Gaps in blinds. Rear cabins would have a view of the back of front cabins. Bed for lounge instead of convertable lounge wasn't as comfy. Double bed in economy cabin would be too short for most males and tall females. Good value for average sized female. Closing time of TV room wouldn't allow guests to watch the end of most movies. Laundry facilities have followed the expensive trend.

Located right on Pambula Beach, the Discovery Park had lots of things for kids (or us adults that are kids at heart!) to do. The cabin we stayed in was surprisingly spacious for the price and had 2 bathrooms - 1 for each bedroom. The less than 50m walk to the beach was great definitely a draw card. After checking out, we accidentally left something in our room, and within about 15 minutes we got a call to say that the cleaner had handed it into reception - big props to the cleaner and the receptionist for this!

While not something they can 100% control, we were greeted with a whitetail spider on our first night, and a larger one managed to even take a car trip home in a bag. There was definitely spider webs high up on the ceiling level windows inside the cabin. Routine pest control would be a welcome addition, albeit time consuming and expensive to undertake.

Amazing location to the beach & range of facilities for the children & as a family. The indoor pool & spa was nice & the outdoor splash park would be good in warm/hot weather. Having a takeaway/small shop place up the road was very convenient. The cabin was okay for price point & seeing the kangaroos everywhere was great.

The bounce pillow operation times weren’t as displayed with the gate locked, though some older kids were starting to climb the fence to jump. The games room you need to pay for the arcade games & half broken/didn’t work; though unless raining can’t see why anyone in there anyway.

Staff were really nice, place was quite during our stay and is prolly not like that on holidays but its what i love most.

Better wifi reception, Well its meant to be a getaway but sometimes reliable reception is needed for the usual internet of things:) Also didnt appreciate the idea of some guests passionately kissing in the indoor pool area, especially in front of kids (like really im not against same sex relationships but have a little respect ffs) Anyhow. I try not to deal with too much negativity in this world but it would be great if people respected how others want to spend their time in there.

The location of the cabins were perfect. We could hear the ocean. We had a good amount of space and suited everyone. The amenities all around and all the things to keep kids entertained were awesome. We only wish we could’ve stayed longer.

The screen door mesh was broken so bugs would get in. Some bulbs were burnt out in the cabin. The cookware wasn’t left in a very clean condition but we just washed before we used them. Linen bags from previous tenants were left out front for 2 days.

* So many fabulous amenities for the children. Lots of kangaroos and wildlife. * Excellent sized units. * All the staff were super friendly and helpful. * Cafe selling top notch meals, in excellent location, with great cocktail hour. * One of the most beautiful beaches on the South Coast. * Close to local pub that sells perfectly cooked steak, at great price.... & courtesy bus.

Some of the property needs a little maintenance & upgrade, but NOTHING that would deter me from going again, or recommending it to others.

Pambula is an absolute gem of a spot. The park is spread out so that you are not crowded in and there's plenty to do. Beach, playground and cafe are all amazing. Staff couldn't be more accomodating, offering advice of things to do, places to eat and also it's no problems if you need housekeeping during your stay.

We didn't get to try the pools, waterpark or spa, or even the gamesroom as they close at 5pm. It would have been relaxing to be able to take a swim after a big day out of seeing the sights.

We spent 2 nights for a long weekend family trip~ the cabins were spacious, clean and has everything thing you need. The beach was just a few minutes walk and we saw the most amazing sunrise! There are also a lot of kid-friendly activities and kangaroos around the park. A great place to stay!

We had a samll issue with the stove burner and dishwasher, but the staff were very helpful and sent someone to have a look.

Have stayed there before, it's a great park and location. Staff are great and I will definitely come back for another stay, we love the south coast and prefer Pambula over Merimbula as it's quieter and we can see all the sites or we can relax at the park.

Wifi is never good but no point complaining. Sometimes it's a good thing to leave the internet and just relax. I don't have any complaints or dislikes, it's a relaxing place to stay.

Very well kept park with good facilities onsite and walking distance to beach. Staff was friendly. The cabin that we stayed in was clean. We enjoyed the stay as the park wasnt crowded and was quiet. Merimbula is just 10mins drive from this place.

We do believe that it can get crowded during peak season and the beach view can get interrupted as there are campervan parking spots in front of every cabin. I would avoid this place during school holidays because of the campervan setup.
