We were in room 7. For the low cost of the room I NEVER EXPECTED it to be amazing but this stay was absolutely awesome...... For so many reasons. *The location was so close to the lake and beach, literally 4 minutes walk and 2 min walk to town centre. *The price was sensational for summer school holidays compared to motels close by. *The room was huge and easily accommodated myself and my 3 teenagers. *The beds were super comfy. *The room was very very very clean. *The standard bathroom soap, shampoo and body wash were absolutely beautiful (lemon/ginger) * the pool was so well maintained and crystal clear water. * Sharon (owner?) Was so amazing and so easy to talk too. It's the first time in my ENTIRE life that a place I've booked accommodation for has called me AND texted me to tell me the room was ready early if I wanted to check in earlier!!!! HOW CAN YOU FAULT THAT TYPE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ill be back again for sure.

Location was excellent walking distance to eateries', beach & baths, very friendly helpful staff, room was clean & smelt very fresh, we were extremely happy with our stay, couldn't fault our room or the warm welcome on our arrival, a little dated but very clean & crisp bedding & the bed was so comfy too, we stayed there regularly in 2016 with my elderly Mum because of the short walk into town I was able to wheel her around easily, many good memories here, due to the heavy rain prediction sadly we had to leave early to beat the worst of it to head home, we will definitely be coming back need at least three to four days there on our way to visit family in Qld in a few months, also can recommend the "all you can eat" at the Bowling Club 2 Strand St Forster, good value & yummy food too, love Forster.

Loved everything no faults.

Staff very welcoming & accommodating...We were originally given a first floor room but a male member of staff observed that my husband was struggling with his luggage whilst making his way upstairs due to health issues...The male member of staff very kindly offered to change our room to the ground floor. The location is very handy & in walking distance to the beach, local cafes & restaurants. The room was very clean & the bed's were very comfortable.

Although the room was exceptionally clean it is in need of updating as it is very much the old style 1960/70's motel ( Although not used it has the outdated meal hatch next to the front door). A little bit noisy from guests & their vehicles arriving & leaving, which can't be helped. The parking spaces were a little bit tight & the parking surface was a bit rocky & uneven in places.

Karen was really friendly, helpful and attentive. The location was fabulous and a bonus having free parking on site, the accommodation itself was super clean and comfortable. It was busy but quiet, couldn’t hear any outside noise from our room. It was also a bonus having the pool.

We stayed in the “family room” which is advertised as a “2 bedroom” this is misleading as there is only 1 bedroom, the living/dining has a bed in it which, which was bizarre as we all had to lay on someone’s bed while chilling out as there was no lounge. Would have preferred a fold out couch so there was somewhere to sit.

Clean towels on day 2 without requesting them. In fact it was quite unnecessary but a nice gesture. Friendly Manager, Karen, and friendly staff. Spotless room and bathroom and excellent location, handy to restaurants and shops.

Did not realise that the property was on 2 levels and we were in an upstairs unit. This in itself is more pleasant than having a ground floor unit but I found the stairs a little difficult especially having to take up a heavy suitcase. I am 80 with a recent knee replacement and my husband 75 and we managed quite well but a choice of levels might have been good.

Staff were great, rooms were clean and spacious. We go to Forster on a regular basis and needed a one night stop over on our way back down the coast. Is in the heart of Forster shopping district and beach. An easy walk to the pub, shops, beach and jetty nearby. We missed out on using the pool yet would be fun for a splash in the warmer months.

Some late-night noise outside on the streets in the early hours of the morning quickly fixed by closing the windows.

The location was brilliant! One minute walk to the Main Street, two minute walk to the restaurants and pub. Huge room. The room was exceptionally clean! Our room was so quiet, no street noise Cold and silent air cons in both rooms

The owners know the property is dated, so no need to mention. I would prefer to stay here than others I have stayed at in Forster at double the price.

The room was in pristine clean condition for its outdated look. The room was spacious for a family of four and beds very comfortable with extra pillows on offer. It was extremely close to the Main Street and main beach in Forster so we were able to park the car and walk everywhere we needed to go.. We were very happy with choice at Forster motor inn.

Was a little worried about the above noise, of dragging chairs, and small children running above us, but can’t recall it lasting past 10pm.

It’s pretty central to Forster and was super clean. It’s a budget hotel (I think 3 stars) but was well appointed.

As it’s 3 Star, you pay for what you get, so if you’re happy with no room service or additional amenities there isn’t much to dislike. I did drop the rating a touch as the bed was a bit “old”, my side was obviously used more than the other side as there was a definite dip

Very happy with my time here. The room was clean and well maintained. Facilities were a little older, but worked great so no issues there. The managers were lovely people. I left a book in my room and they shipped it out to me the next day. It is close to the beach and to pubs/restaurants. I would recommend staying here.
