Excellent location right in centre of Forster, easy access to shops, cafes and restaurants. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. I liked that this was a manned motel as I am finding arriving at unmanned motels with no one to ask so annoying. Motel was set out nicely with bbq facilities available in centre of grassed area. Room set up well with settee, table and chairs and everything you need for a good overnight stay.

No safety chain on front door, security screen door had no key or facilty to lock it so we could have slept with actual door open and allowed air in through fly screen door. Unable to find how to turn light on outside our door, other units had a light on the porch. We arrived during daylight hours but I would imagine it would be difficult to get key into front door in the dark.

Wash basin too small to wash your face as the water splashes everywhere on the floor; No where to place your toiletries in the bathroom; No bench for suitcases...just the floor; Small old lounge provided which wasn't comfortable; you have to sit on the bed to watch TV or pull up a chair.

My second stay in a few months, had no hesitation in rebooking this location for an unexpected trip. Very convenient location, a short walk to the main strip and easily accessed by car. Generously sized parking spaces and loads of room to manoeuvre, if required. Hotel seemed almost full but other guests were quiet even when leaving in the morning. No slamming of doors, noisy talking in the common areas, starting engines and leaving them to idle for 10min, etc. I don't think I woke even with my windows wide open ... wish all guests everywhere were that considerate! Hosts are very friendly, nothing seems too much trouble.

The room was clean and had a comfortable bed and nice towels. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We had booked a Deluxe Queen Room but unfortunately our allocated room needed some repairs so we were given a family room. We understand these things happen. The room looked a bit more dated than the photos we had seen of the Deluxe Room and had a smaller bed than expected (maybe double). It did have a full sized fridge and freezer though which was a plus.

Great location, easy to find with good sized parking spots and plenty of room to manoeuvre. I stayed mid-week with not many others booked in so the premises were nice and quiet. Even when I woke up a bit late I was surprised to see that most of the other cars had already gone and I didn't hear a thing! I'm sure that was also attributable to the courtesy of the other guests not making a racket, slamming doors and talking loudly while leaving. Wish that happened everywhere. The room had excellent block-out curtains and wide-opening windows to let the cool breeze flow through the room for a peaceful sleep. Security grilles on both windows were reassuring and I noticed many security cameras around the external areas. On arrival I was delighted to be offered a late check-out which I gladly accepted because my stay at the previous night's location was very poor, getting a bonus few hours of sleep was greatly appreciated. They were also happy for me to leave the packed-up car on-site while I walked into the main drag for breakfast ... "Take your time!". Thank you!

Perhaps a covering for the window panel over the door to block out the morning light would be helpful for us sleepyheads. Odd power points don't allow guests to plug in a powerboard which would make charging mobile devices a bit more convenient. A double outlet in the kitchenette let me charge stuff there anyway. The top rail of the shower door is a bit low, I banged my head a few times.

The manager was lovely - a really friendly chap who had lots of suggestions of what to do, where to walk, eat etc. The room had everything you could need and was spacious. The location was absolutely perfect - easy walking distance to sights, restaurants,beach, walking paths.

The laundry behind the units had a parking area where the van for the linen service arrived every morning between 3:30 and 4:00 with loud banging and noise which woke us every night with a shock. For this reason alone I wouldn't stay there again. Not the motel's fault however. The bed was a bit uncomfortable for me, but that is a personal bias. Mirror was smeared.

Great location, near town, lake and shops. Very quiet in the rooms. Great beds and pillows etc. Not long been refurbished. All amenities available, staff very accommodating and friendly.

Some bathroom fittings need some attention which will no doubt be done shortly given the condition of the rest of the room.

Fantastic location, steps away from Forsters main street - easy walk to shops, restaurants, beach and lake. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Parking outside room. Basic older style Hotel, but a well equipped, spacious room.

Noisy screen doors. Not really hotels fault but inconsiderate guests. Woken by slamming screen doors about 6.30am and people in room next to mine seemed to go in and out of their room constantly ruining any chance of a sleep-in. Maybe get some soft close doors.

It was located at Forster city central. I walked to everywhere, cafe, pub, shops and Forster Beach! Though it was very next to the city, the street was so quiet in the night! Also the room was clean and well serviced. Fresh towels were supplied every day too. No frost in the freezer (no odor either!). Hot shower and dispensers (shampoo, etc) in the bathroom! Parking spots are everywhere and there was a small BBQ facility too. Staffs were very friendly, I really appreciated.

Nothing. But if I really have to say... It was an old country motel, so sound proofing was not great. There wasn't a safe in the room (might be an issue if you have vaulables). Well this wasn't an issue for my family but... the motel did not provide a smart TV for streaming services (eg. NetFlix, Disney etc).
