I stayed at other locations during this trip and the shiralee was the best of them.

Nick the manager is just an absolute gem to deal with the facilities are so warming and the rooms I nearly needed footy shorts it was that warm On arrival. We will stay again.

The property is perfect there is no downside nick is by far the best manager I have met to date above and beyond.

The Owner and the Manager were both exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the Motel is walking distance to the shops, cafes, pubs, Mother of Ducks Lagoon and golf club. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need for a night (or three). We used Guyra as a base to explore the region by car.

We let the manager know that the shower screen and one tap had a slight issue, and he was onto it! Really, there was nothing that was a problem.

We stayed for just one night, the owners were lovely and made contact prior to the day to confirm our booking. Check in was easy and they gave us good, local advice about where to eat and what to see in their little town. The room was functional and warm, bed was comfy and it had everything you'd expect from a little motor inn. We arrived wet after being at an outdoor event and they offered us complimentary use of the laundry and dryer which we appreciated.

Room and bathroom decor was dated, but we liked the old school charm.

The motel in on the main highway of Guyra, and quiet. The family room contained a large TV in each room, heating and extra blankets. We were greeted without needing to exit the car and the heat had been put on in the room so we were comfortable upon entering. Would happily stay again.

Response is slow, price is different than web published price. For example, extra person is $10 on the web site. They charge $20, plus they insisted me to take the highest price room and charge more for it. Even though other room are available. They ask me to physically pay at the motel. before they can confirm my booking, which is strange even though I have booked via booking.com. and paid via my CC. They would not give me the room no or location to pick up keys, Until I pay via CC at the motel. We were driving from Sydney and running late for arrival, it was very uncomfortable for me.

Nick is absolutely fantastic. He is friendly and helpful and even had the room warmed up for us. Lovely room with plenty of space and a comfortable bed.

Lovely room. Very cosy and the beds were very very comfortable. The bedding was luxurious and very generous with warm blankets. The manager Nick is the nicest man on the planet.

Could do with some upgrades in permanent fixtures like curtains and bathroom is rather dated.

Excellent value for the family and the service was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and room was warm in spite of cold outside!

Very clean. Was able to check in early, and the manager had the heater on all ready for our arrival. Room was very cosy and warm. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets.

The bathroom was a bit older, but was clean so can’t complain.
