The building is old, so definitely not 5star luxury; but our room had a lovely view and was very clean and comfortable. The beds were made up beautifully every day and fresh linen provided as per a 5star hotel. The lift arrived quickly, the access cards worked in the lift and room quickly. The blackout curtains meant we enjoyed a sleep-in! The receptionist was outstanding in assisting us with looking after our bags, early check-in and dealing with a car issue we had. She is such a lovely friendly person, that even when we saw her in the street the following day, when she was not working, she enquired if we had the car issue sorted. She made our stay very pleasant. Easy walk to Westfield Miranda and the Miranda Hotel for meals. We really enjoyed the food at the Tandoori Indian restaurant over the road and the coffee at Zeekas cafe was exceptionally good (not open on weekends).

The cafe underneath the hotel was closed for the Xmas/New Year break, so there was nowhere close by for breakfast or coffee.

It was a great location close to a major shopping centre and the railway station. We used the frequent train service to go to the city and also local amenities. The hotel offered us a temporar membership card for the local RSL Club so we took advantage of the cheaper food and beverage rates. A great bonus for us.

The room had an older fridge that needed the door seal replacing. When advised staff were attentive and able to get the fridge replaced. The bathroom could have been updated as it was getting old as well but it was still comfortable for the price.

I booked the Hotel for 1 night. Just a standard room for 2 people. 1 double bed and a single bed. When we arrived, to our surprise, they upgraded us to a large room with a kitchenette, balcony with city views, 360 degrees view, and 2 king size beds. What an amazing surprise. I'd definitely recommend The Metro Hotel at Miranda to all my family and friends. I'd give it 10 out of 10.

The Hotel is ideally situated to Westfield Miranda, restaurants, clubs, cafes etc. All in walking distance. You don't need your car. Very clean. The staff are amazing. Can't do enough for you. Just a delightful place to stay.

location 1 minute walk from westfield, 3 minute walk from train station. clean. comfortable. cozy. huge smart tv directly opposite the beds. lovely staff. plenty of surface space for my stuff. no bad smells.

oh just that it needs detailing - but it’s so cheap and it’s clean cozy and comfy etc so doesn’t really matter! didn’t like the location of the bins, but i understand not many places to put them and i can move them to wherever. crockery needs a better clean, but easy enough to clean it in the sink or with wet wipes.

Great location near Westfield Shopping Mall, which includes lots of restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to order-in via a food delivery app - just add 'Reception Level 1 lobby' in delivery instructions. Nice clean room and decent size bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The airconditioner worked well and I recommend using it on hot/muggy days.

Room keycards took awhile to work when using the lifts.

I booked at the Metro at Miranda because I'm a full-time wheelchair user and needed an accessible room. I chose the metro based on online reviews about the accessible room & the reviews were not wrong! It was te 1st time I've booked an accessible room & actually got on̈è! My room had me, my husband & 2 teenage boys, my parents were next door on one side & while on the other side was my sister & niece (we travelled for a wedding) by having our rooms close together made it more fun!

They need a designated disabled parking.

Convenient and nearby to the event I was attending. Staff were very friendly and the pillows were so comfortable. In fact it was probably the best nights sleep in a hotel I have had in memory’s The mattress was very comfortable as well. The rooms were modern and clean and bathroom was very fresh and modern.

Not really much to complain about. I enjoyed my stay. Some of the carpet in halls were working a little and skirting boards a bit knocked around. Not a fault, just wear and tear. I would happily stay here again!

Cleanest hotel in the shire! Happy Stay, easy rest! Fast check in Very quiet, could not hear anyone else in their rooms. Check out was really chill and easy done. Staff were lovely

It would have been nice to have a bar of soap option in the rooms as the in house body wash just didn't feel like it was doing it's job. Also bath Robes definitely would have been a highlight of they were available. But the most disappointing was the tv wouldn't pick up any Channels

One of the best places I have stayed. The room was a good size, lovely and clean and comfortable. The property is in an exceptional location, right across the road from Westfield! It was very quiet and in a nice area of Sydney. I would 10/10 recommend and stay again. The price was even better, the staff were friendly as well.

The only thing I would’ve liked was a window or 2 in the room that could be opened as it got a little stuffy in there during the day.

The receptionist was very good & helpful. The location was good and the room was very good. Make sure you get a room on a high floor away from the gym noise.

The 24hr gym under our room, with loud booming music at 4.30am and the next morning from 6am. Parking was a bit tight.
