The room, bathroom and entry/corridors are wonderfully refurbished. Great large room. The front pub does not reflect how nice the rooms are so I highly recommend the accommodation part. Nice dinner.

I booked a room with a balcony. It was unfortunate other guests were loud on their phones (on their balconies) and as the balconies are very close to each other, it was heard through into my room. However, I highly recommend the rooms and staying at Meredian.

The location is close to Hurstville station, opposite a public car park, and near to a superb breakfast cafe. In particular, the hotel has a great Chinese restaurant downstairs, where I was able to dine with family and friends. So good.

No complaints.

Bar staff attending to check in and queries were great. The room was very comfortable and quiet. One of the reasons for choosing this hotel, apart from my daughter living close by, was that the train service to the city work great from Hurstville.

The first four days the room was half cleaned two of the days. Complained to the housekeeping but that did not help. A rude staff member even told me to wash the cups and glasses myself. Raised it with the hotel manager and after that I have no complaints.

Great rooms for the price , massive bed , hot massive shower , awesome air con , fridge , wardrobe , desk. The best Chinese restaurant on site with most meals at the most competitive prices of $15 on avg per meal and big serves , pub and excellent beer garden on site, Hurstville train station 150 metres away and massive Westfield shopping centre next door. Great place to stay at competitive prices.

Lack or housekeeping ! No towels changed in 3 days , no tissues / shampoo/ toilet rolls etc replaced over my stay which wasn’t great but that’s my only complaint !

The most comfortable beds ever I have had at a hotel lovely fresh white linen stayed for a week always looked forward to jumping into that cosy comfortable bed at the end of the night. Great Asian food look no further than downstairs nice beer garden. Staff were very accomodating and helpful and friendly especially manager. Been there 3 times now would stay there again but next visit I have to go exploring some other areas of Sydney but I’m sure I will be back at some point!

A suburban pub would not normally be our choice, but we took the chance, and were glad we did. Close to bus and trains, close to shopping centre, multiple supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes. Much quieter than we expected although there was a little traffic noise, and the first two nights being quite hot, the air conditioning condensors on the roof (near the accommodation) were noticeable, but better than traffic or live music sound at night.

Nothing. The room was not huge, but more than enough, and better than a lot we've stayed in.

Great location, friendly staff, quiet and nice room. Commute to the city is convenient and shopping centre with all shops and many food options close by.

Only issue was that the staff overlooked cleaning my room a couple of times. I complained to housekeeping but that didnt help so had to complain to hotel management. I thought that one day without housekeeping was ok but complained after a second day of neglect. After that it was ok

At first I was slightly concerned as I wasn't aware it was effectively part of a club style hotel, but the building overall has had some serious money put into it and the quality of my room and bathroom was excellent which was evident by even the hallways leading from the lift to it. One of the cleanest and most well maintained rooms I've been in and clearly they didn't skimp on using great contractors for whenever they renovated it as it's top notch workmanship, though to be fair I've just built my own house so was in large part impressed by how much attention to small detail was put in, even the tiling quality. They also had a great noodle bar inside with a good feed at a very reasonable price and the service was great too. A young lady by the name of Poi (might have spelt that wrong, sorry) went above and beyond to be helpful, and outside the entrance doors there are plenty of restaurants etc along the street to give you plenty of variety. Hurstville isn't the normal side of town I stay on but I had a work day nearby, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect there, but I'd gladly stay there again as it's location inside Hurstville and the "bang for buck" value was more than I expected. Easily recommendable

No faults tospeak of over my two day stay

Convenient location a few minutes walk from the train station and only a 20 minutes journey into Central Station. Close to the Westfield Shopping Centre and lots of restaurants with mostly Asian cuisine. The accommodation was separate from the rest of the hotel complex and has been recently renovated with an up to date bathroom. Optional daily room service gave you choice.

The room was a little small but fine for a solo traveller. The fridge was noisy when operating and banks of A/C units that lined the window were noisy too. Some shelving near the wash basin in the bathroom would have been useful and a comfortable chair would have been appreciated, as there was only a desk chair.

Nice and calm hotel floors. Great rooms and value for your money. Perfect for staying outside the center of Sidney but with easy and fast access via public transport (which is great in Sydney by the way). A bit confusing setup for us Europeans with a sportsbar, Chinese restaurant and gaming facilities on the ground floor. You check in at the bar! But once you’ve gone up a floor to the rooms your in a different place and you get really good value for your money. The hotel sits next to a big shopping mall and next to the railway station. You have everything you need at arms length.

No breakfast arrangements. But -great bakeries next door so..
