The room had been refurbished and newly completed. It had top quality bathroom fittings and well finished. Very smart. The king size bed was huge and comfy. Good pillows too. Speaking of smart, I had a smart TV and all the popular streaming services. Good wifi too.

The hotel does not have a dedicated car park for guests. Parking was a pain 1P/2P/4P on street parking only. It's a lottery to get a parking space and then you must move your vehicle about. In saying that, I managed to find something, and when my time expired, to find something else. Evenings are fine. Once you get a spot, you can stay there until the morning.

Clean bedding & surfaces, clean toilet and sink! Very important to me, as many Sydney hotels are extremely dirty. Safe check-in! Electronic door lock that locks from outside when you enter the room. Separate entrance to hotel:random people cannot access the accommodation. Kind and welcoming staff! My request was happily granted, the staff kindly helped me with checking in and any other questions I had. Good fast wifi. Super close to public transport. Excellent amenities (mini fridge, iron+ironing board, kettle, tea cups, glasses). Spacious shower, good water temperature + pressure!

There were some brownish-looking spatters on the wall of the shower, but the rest of the room was very clean and well-maintained!

Comfy, clean, well presented and maintained. Linens changed daily which was amazing.. Nice and quiet considering it was the weekend.. Didn't hear any patrons from the bar below at anytime of my visit. Handy location, train service straight across the road, I did hear the train at times but it's not loud and didn't disturb me at all.. Ironing board and iron in cupboard including a spare blanket if it got cold ( it didn't) and a safe to lock away any personal belongings if your safety conscious. All the usual condiments, jug, cups, glasses, heaps of coffee, tea and sugar as well as milk in the fridge.. Bed was extremely comfortable, a great size, nice and clean. AC was easy to use as was the TV. Bathroom was spotless and all fixtures were made of great quality, had all the condiments ( shampoo, conditioner and body wash) and a hair dryer. The sower was powerful and the tiles weren't slippery when wet. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who visits mortdale and I'll definitely book again for future visits.

Only thing I didn't like was the price, although I completely understand it has recently been refurbished to high standards its a little pricey..

Firstly the staff were welcoming and helpful. Despite being busy in the hotel bar. The rooms have had a total refurbishment and are finished tastefully with good workmanship and quality fittings. Part of this refurb. is an electric keypad to enter the hotel and the room. The room was spotless. The bed was very comfy and the pillows suited me very well. I am fussy about pillows. The shower and the handbasin plumbing were new, with quality fittings. The water was hot and had strong pressure. The room I had at the mid-week price was exceptional value for money. The cost rose at the weekend but not much. I ate in the bar, 2 out of 4 nights during my stay and the pub food was very good with daily specials.

The manager was very pleasant and down to earth and always greets me whenever he sees me. Always says if I need anything don't hesitate to ask. My flight arrived at 7 am .....and so I was at the hotel before 10 a.m.....once they open at 10 a.m. manager gave me early check-in. That was a blessing for me as I just finished flying for 20 hrs and was ready to rest.

Would like their restaurant to include more non fried options

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are newly renovated and spacious with beautiful bathrooms. It was great to have a little bar fridge in the room as well. There is also a separate entrance/exit for accomodation so you dont have to walk through the hotel everytime. Check in and out was super easy. You can just return the key in a box when checking out.

Everything was great but it would have been nice to have some tea options as well as coffee.

The hotel has recently been renovated: rooms are very nice and modern (including comfy beds and bathrooms) with all necessary amenities. Located right next to the train station. There’s several eateries/cafes around. Staff were super nice.

Not that it’s bad, but worth mentioning: there’s a sports/bidding bar on the ground floor. However, we did not see/hear anything whatsoever. As a base station to Sydney, it is a 30-40 min train ride.

the room and bathroom was beautiful, newly renovated and clean and comfortabe. Easy access via lift. Beds comfy and a real home away from home feel. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and next to the station. Parking not too much of a problem.

Street noise and gaming room problems bought out onto the street - unfortunately below rooms. Very disappointing as a lovely place to stay. Extraneous noise a definite problem.

It was value for money. The rooms and staff were exceptional,and I couldn't ask for a better motel. You would never have thought it was a room situated on top of a hotel. I really couldn't fault the room, and staff helped in every way possible.

Couldn't fault this hotel. It was A1 value for money, and I would recommend it to anyone who asked.

The conviennce of every thing literally outside the hotel, from the train station, abundance of retail and very pleased with the laundromat across the hotel.

I was granted only two days RDO for the entire week.
