Location was great. Close to Sydney Airport, supermarket, pharmacy, St Rowers Club and Asian food precinct. Room was on the small side but big enough for the price we paid. Bed linen and towels were fresh and clean. Reception staff really helpful and friendly.

It smelled dirty when we walked into the room. The handles on the shower doors had mold in them (had been overlooked many times when cleaners came through) and carpet was filthy (think that’s where the smell was coming from). Bathroom very pokey. Post script: Stayed here again on our return trip. Room was upgraded and this room was excellent. Larger, cleaner and brighter. Closer to reception and dining room.

This is a budget level hotel, but it's decent enough if you're not fussy. The rooms have not been renovated for a long time but they are clean and neat. My bathroom was tiny but very clean with shiny shower tiles. The shower worked well. Good soap, shampoo, etc. supplied. The towels were fresh and fluffy. The bed sheets were clean and crisp. The bed was excessively soft and slightly lumpy, but overall not uncomfortable. The room lighting was dim. The carpet looked ok but it was hard to see if it was clean in the poor light. There is a mini fridge, cups, teabags, kettle. Soundproofing between rooms is poor but after 11pm everyone was quiet so it was fine. Wifi was fine. Basically: the rooms are dimly lit and old, but perfectly adequate for sleeping, showering, etc. Pleasant hotel staff. Location: It is near a nice little park by the water, a train station, bus route, and a bunch of restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets. You can walk to the airport international terminal (will take 20-25 mins) or take a $13 shuttle.

Lois at reception was very accommodating to our early arrival, and he went beyond our expectations to help us get settled. Thank you! Nicole, the Food Prepartion Manager was extremely friendly and helpful with advice and support around all of our first time visitor questions. She definately went above and beyond our breakfast service in the mornings. Our connection with Nicole made us feel welcomed and cared for. She made a great first impression of Aussie's for us, and helped start our vacation off on such a positive note! Super close to the airport - 3 min drive - and value for money compared to other slightly smarter hotels… but who needs ‘smart’ when you have an unplanned stay at the airport. My room was really clean, huge comfy bed, all facilities provided and a buffet breakfast included for only an extra $12 through booking.com. The Room was as pictured on booking.com. The staff were really helpful and patient. When an Uber driver messed up the woman at the front desk went out of her way to help me. The breakfast chef was really friendly and obviously cared a lot about her job. The breakfast was varied and delicious. Thanks for a great stay! I will definitely stay again.

Airport hotel across the river from the international terminal, and can be walked to/from in 20 minutes if light luggage. Airport shuttle also available at cost. There is a path from the 1st floor (above ground floor) up the ramp by the bike area that leads to the river, and bridge crossing over to Wolli Creek area. From the hotel you can access Wolli Creek restaurants and train stop, and shop at the Woolworth's grocery. Though parts are worn, the hotel is kept up and has always been an easy stop for me. The staff is ery accommodating, and caters to an international clientele. Onsite restaurant available.

We were given an upgrade for our room. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel location is perfect for us as we catch the train from Kiama to Wolli Creek and can walk here easily then use the shuttle bus facilities for all flights both domestic and international. This is very convenient for us. We had a breakfast this time which was cooked beautifully for us. The room is spacious and the shower has a great shower head. Woolworths and plenty of eating places are very close by at Wolli Creek including the Rowers Club on Cooks River which is only metres away from the hotel.

Usually it is very quiet but this particular room was a bit noisier with traffic noise. Not a big problem though. I probably would prefer more bars of soap rather than body wash in a little tube as this is not quite enough.

It's a 15 minute walk from the international terminal to this hotel. There's a pedestrian walkway over all the parking areas to the bridge. After a long flight to Sydney, I enjoyed this walk in both directions. Near the hotel is a pretty good restaurant for dinner.

My room was on the small side. The buffet breakfast of meat, eggs and bread included no fresh fruit. I took a pass on it because it didn't look worth the $30au price.

Silkari was a pleasant surprise, we needed a good value accommodation before going to the airport the following day. The Sydney Super Shuttle ran to & from the accommodation & airports (also stopping at other motels) and was excellent value at $13 per person one way. The accommodation itself was clean & secure, the room was small but suitable for a transit stay. We walked to the close by Calypso cafe for an excellent & cheap breakfast. Dinner had been at the Rower's club (also a short walk). We'd definitely stay here again

My partner and I had a wonderful stay! The room was modern, with all the amenities we needed. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we appreciated having plenty of towels, comfortable and quality pillows, and a TV with good entertainment options. There were ample power outlets for all our devices, and the bathroom had convenient shelves for our toiletries. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and well-designed. The receptionists were also very attentive and made us feel welcome. We felt it was truly worth the price for such a pleasant experience.

Fantastic that they have a guest laundry. Travelling for a week in and out of hotels in Sydney it was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. No request was too much for them. Suggested the Rowers Club just 2 min walk from hotel. Highly recommended. (See pics) Courtesy bus👍. Definitely worth using to get to the Airport.👍

If I have to pick something. Could be closer to Wolli station. But, It is only a 10 min walk through a lovely park next to an old cricket ground though.
