Arrived at the hotel to a lovely welcoming lady who checked us in really swiftly and explained everything we needed to know. Highlighted the safety of the building overnight as it’s also a pub, the daily deals in the pub restaurant and also ensured us that they were on hand if we needed them. The room was bright and airy with lovely high ceilings and a SUPER comfy bed. We selected a room with a shared bathroom and wow, the shared bathrooms are incredible! It felt like having a shower in a show home they were that clean and modern. After checking in we had dinner downstairs, the day kept getting better! It was a Monday so there was a deal on rump steaks where they only cost $20.. these did not disappoint! Such great value and oh so delicious. Followed by a chocolate brownie which easily sits at the top of our all time favourite brownies, hats off to the chefs.

Outside my room, in the hallway, there were some radios with music until 3am. Sometimes it wasn’t easy to sleep well

Nearby to Tempe metro station so able to get into central Easy. Also bus service right outside as well. Also obviously close to airport Friendly staff. Great comfortable bed. small rooms but able to accommodate one person and maybe two if not too much luggage between two of you. Toilet and shower arrangements different to the norm but at least 3 showers and 3 toilets. Never had to wait for a free cubicle. Always lovely and clean. Would have preferred having wall based dispensers for conditioner shampoo and gel instead of small daily supplements BUT I'm being picky All staff able to accommodate hotel issues despite working at the bar at times. Appreciated the late check out.

N/A. For the price I enjoyed it. Music slightly loud as it is a bar /pub open to 3am but I didn't have any issues falling asleep..

The Tempe Hotel far exceeded our expectations. A stopover for our trip to the UK its location was excellent. When arriving the staff were so friendly and welcoming it was so very refreshing. The balcony room we stayed in had a great comfy bed and was super clean. Happy hour in the bar and the specials on the menu board meant you certainly have bang for your buck. We stayed, ate and drank at the Tempe and would do it again in a heartbeat. When and should you stay at the Tempe there is a wonderful cafe just down the street called CAFE DZAJKO that you must go for breakfast, the lovely Macedonian family would appreciate your business. This review is for a short stay only as there is nothing for you to stay longer.

Noelene and the team are awesome, friendly, genuine and customer focussed. The pub has evening meal specials, all delicious and very generous servings. the room has a private bathroom with (clean & modern) biggest bonus, separated toilet ☺️access to enclosed balcony, with outdoor seating. A unit for luggage storage. complimentary water too 🙏🏾. nice complimentary toiletries. pin code room access, love it!!!! The pillows very fluffy and bed very soft. bus stop right outside the hotel, very accessible. 5 minute walk to tempe canal park / reserve. Nigel Love Bridge to watch incoming flights arrive. walking distance to ikea, decathlon and woolies. if you are flying international its a 10 min drive or 30 minute walk. Staff were so lovely to my mum (in her 70’s).

if they could have a kettle in the private rooms, that would be an added bonus.

The whole staff were welcoming from first arrival carrying 2 x heavy luggage bags up stairs to our room. The manager was very friendly talking to us, listening to our thoughts and also holding our bags the morning of departure while we had breakfast at a local cafe. Our bags were then taken by the manager (a lady) to the Uber awaiting us. Credit must go to the people behind this rebuilt of what was a very run-down old pub, bringing it back to its former glory with modern conveniences such as ensuite in 80% of the rooms. A memorable stay in a thriving area of inner Sydney.

Very close to airport international terminal. Without exception, super friendly and attentive staff. Small room, but as airport travelers we didn’t need much space. Bed was excellent. Entire facility clean. Recently renovated throughout. Really nice restaurant and bar on first floor that did not disturb our sleep in any way. Delicious food and drink at reasonable prices. Clear that the owners care about their business and their customers. Great place for us to stay before an early morning flight. Highly recommend.

Hard to find parking lot in back of property. Owners can address this issue easily with more information in advance for visitors who book hotel room.

Very clean, newly renovated, good food, amazing staff

Soap dispenser and paper towels would be great in the shared bathroom so that you don’t have to take your soap and towel every time you go for a wee. Lights on the nightstand and something needs to be done about soundproofing. The girls in the room next to me came home around 2-3am and were quite loud - I don’t mind a bit of noise in the hotel but it sounded as if they were in the same room as me…. I could understand every word they were saying which is not great when you have to get up at 4:30/5am the next morning to fly to a new job induction.

Newly renovated bathrooms and rooms upstairs. Welcome drink of house beer or wine. Super friendly staff and good wifi. Generous toiletries. Ikea across the road for dinner. Good soundproofing from the pub dow stairs. Successfully went on foot from the Tempe Hotel to the International airport in 28mins early morning. A little scrub for 1 min but mostly bike and foot path and emerge at Parking Lot 7. Got to beat the airport access fee for trains and stay somewhere nice the night before.

Beautifully clean. Able to arrive late at night after travel. Not too far from rail line to Central Station. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Renovated and sparkling clean bathroom.

Fine for us, but only stairs to rooms. No bed lamps or kettle. No table or chair. No information provided about the area. Light to bathroom was on the other side of the bedroom and easily confused with main light in the middle of the night. I used a torch. We wouldn't stay more than a night.
