Check-in and check-out was fast and friendly, the room was spotless and quiet, the bed comfortable. Perfect for an overnight stay. And breakfast is exceptional. We traveled from the international terminal T1 to the hotel in a taxi which cost a ridiculous $32 but it was 10.30pm and we were tired. The next morning, after breakfast, we used the shuttle service to the domestic T2/T3 terminals which cost $12 each but we could have walked there in 10-15 minutes also.
There was nothing to dislike about this hotel. The bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but it was fine for an overnight stay.

The staff were all incredible. From those at the desk, especially the afternoon female staff member today who went over and above in her duty of care to us, to the staff in the restaurant, who all enjoyed their jobs and had a smile on in their dial talking to everyone. The rooms while on the smaller size were classy and very comfortable and the food in the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was of high standard and quality. So many choices it was hard to decide what to eat and we weren't disappointed.
The only downside to your hotel is the distance from the airport for slightly older people like us or the infirm. It is a 15 minute walk and when the weather is bad, as it was this weekend, we also got quite wet. The only other peeve was the shuttle that we booked for today to take us back to the airport. They were 15 minutes late, and as mentioned the female staff member on the desk this arvo did he best to find out about the hold up and to make sure they got there as quickly as possible. She was amazing.

Location was good, overlooks airport on one side. Easy walk to T2/3 (Domestic) Sydney Airport from Hotel. If your looking for some cheaper foods, KFC and Maccas is a 2 minute walk down the road (there is footpaths). If your an aviation enthusiast, overlook the whole airport missing just most of T1 but all runways are within view.
Nothing that really impacts me but sleep is somewhat hard to get as you’re so close to Sydney Airport. There is a curfew from 10:30 - 6 for SYD but after 6 if your a light sleeper good luck sleeping, your right under a final approach to runway 16L and the takeoff route from 34R (same runway)

Proximity to T2. Easy walking distance. Quieter than imagined. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was pleasant with good choices and staff were friendly and attentive.
No opening windows...always preferred these days over controlled a/c. Lack of a chair or bench for sitting. Toilet seat very obviously needed to be adjusted, but had not been. Half toilet flush button was unworkable, again an obvious oversight. A huge pile of laundry greeted you as you exited the lift. It was still there 17 hrs later. Not ideal logistics.

Location, room, cleanliness. Super close to airport which was great. They say it's walkable from the domestic terminal, but unless you only have a small carry-on, I'd recommend shelling out the money and getting the shuttle. The walk was well-lit and there was a path, but it's like walking 2 airport terminals on the outside before you get there.
Coffee at the restaurant was undrinkable - considering Aussies with their coffee culture I was a bit surprised. My wife ordered a flat white and had to go back and change it to a hot chocolate, and even then it was not great.

The location was good, the provision of the Shuttle Bus service back to the airport was very good.
I ate dinner at the Mantra Hotel's Restaurant lastt night (Sunday 7th July). I ordered my main meal, dessert and wine simultaneously. After having finished my main meal for some 30 minutes, I asked the waitress who took my order for my dessert (Chocolate Lava cake). I was told it would be quite some time as it had to be made from scratch. I then cancelled the dessert order as it hadn't been commenced and I could not spend any more time in the restaurant. When I checked out this morning I was still charged for the dessert, Not Happy Jan! I had no way to prove my case and the reception attendant didn't offer to investigate the matter.

Last minute booking due to delayed flight leading to missed connection and the need to stay overnight. Booking was simple and price excellent considering there were 6 of us including children. Nice and close to the airport. A young girl Sashim (?) on reception was wonderful. Found a cot for the baby and put us in rooms close together. So lovely and accommodating. Restaurant was lovely and had a children's corner. The shuttle bus the next day was also a bonus. It turned an upsetting day into a positive experience

great clean room, modern facilities
getting to the place from the airport for people who have not been there before is extremely confusing and difficult, we arrived at night and could not work out easily how to walk there or at least get to the coach that takes you to the hotel, we chose this hotel because we wanted to be close to the airport and it took us an hour and a half to get to our room, we arrived late and there was no information available at the airport, we rang the hotel but found the service not very helpful and confusing as to where we had to go and wait for a shuttle bus. in the morning we noticed that it was very close by and we could have walked there, , need better signages for where the bus stops are or maps for walking getting to the hotel

Arriving from the domestic terminal it is within walking distance with cases. The room was clean and a good size. The bed was a very good size and very comfy. Breakfast is nice and served until 10am. They offer a shuttle service for $12 per trip to/from the airport which I think could be better advertised before reaching the hotel.
I did have to call down and request housekeeping come and remake the bed as the covers did not actually cover the bed. There was no hand towel given in the bathroom.

The location close to the Eastern Suburbs suits us very nicely. We travel to Sydney from the Central Coast once a month on average. The room does not greatly worry us, though I do prefer a room with a view over the airport.
I always travel to the hotel by my private car. This means I need parking. We always go out with friends for dinner on the Saturday evening. Even though I pay for the parking there is no guarantee that I will still have a parking spot when I return later in the evening.
