Food was good. Clean. Laundry was great and was easy access.

Taxi was booked the previous day by staff, which was awesome and appreciated. Unfortunately, two turned up and we were told by staff to get in the first one. An argument happened on the street between two taxi drivers and we were told off. My husband doesn't like confrontation so I was left to deal with these two men arguing over me head. The weather at 4:00am wasn't great either.

It was really trendy.

They don’t accept cash which should be made illegal. Also there was sand in my sheets that make me question if they were changed.

If you are on a domestic flight, or are renting a car from the major companies, this is the place to stay!. It's literally an 8 minute walk to the major rental car location, and a 7 minute FREE shuttle ride to the Moxy. The breakfast buffet they offered was standard fare, but really well done. It a great modern, laid back hip vibe, that reminds me of a Citizen M style hotel, but this seemed even better. They maximize the space in the room very well, with chairs and tables that hang up on the wall, that you can take down and fold out. It's concrete, so there is minimal to no noise. The bed was super comfy, medium firm, and the pillows were very decent. We checked in after 11, so there was no food, but this is one of the first places I've stayed that a really well stocked canteen with food, noodle bowls, drinks, confectionary etc. and it didn't break the bank!

We were only overnight, and I wish we had more of a chance to enjoy the atmosphere.

well designed rooms and services for a good rate, especially for a solo traveller. They really have thought of travellers needs. Arrived after 11pm but got a warm helpful welcome, was able to buy snacks from the ‘pantry’, room aircon was on and good temp. May have a little less space in room than big hotel chains but they’ve been considered about what is useful eg hand garment steamer, hairdryer, water jug, nice (single) armchair, airport shuttle.

More for solo travellers to be aware than a criticism: Whilst I loved the hotel, my flight was after last shuttle so I walked rather than a 5m Uber. It’s not really the hotels fault but at night, the street it’s on is quite dark and unwelcoming. Recommend get an Uber if solo. Maybe something the Moxy can work with council on.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise - very cool and trendy, despite a dreary airport location. A 10/10 would have been if there had been a pool, but for a quick overnight, that's mostly a nuisance anyway ending up with wet swimmers! The rooms are quiet, comfortable, well equipped with amenities and easy access to additional items if needed. Staff were exceptionally friendly everywhere: reception, bar, cafe area, airport shuttle drivers, very impressive. Excellent shower, foam pillows provided as requested prior to arrival. The only (minor) issue is that I'm a tidy-freak and don't really love the very funky clothes pegs on walls for hanging clothing! Saves cupboard space for sure, but looks messy if there's two of you hanging clothing, plus coats, all along one wall. The room was very quiet, although a noisy family departed quite early and hallway was less quiet than the noise from outside/aircraft (didn't hear many at all). Breakfast and lounge area very comfortable. Terrific breakfast, although small number of options, what was offered was great quality, well presented and whole area very clean. Very good coffee (from a coffee machine) available at an extra cost, although free if you used a press-button automated machine yourself. My only comment to the hotel to improve the service, is please answer the phone in a more timely manner. I realise it's busy but we couldn't get the app to function to order a return shuttle to the airport so called reception to arrange that and ended up on hold a little too long for a hotel. The same issue trying to arrange collection from the airport the previous night. Overall, top class hotel for an airport layover, despite not having anywhere to wander outside. Highly recommended. If you really wanted to go to town, you'd have to go back to the airport and catch the city train I think, or take an uber/taxi directly from hotel.

As above, not a fan of clothes pegs on the wall, although I do recognise this is a design feature, very funky and cool, I just personally prefer less visual clutter. The bed edges, again, very funky and cool design: timber sticks out beyond the mattress, very good to look at, less ideal if you whack a shin on the timber during the night.

Hotel was inviting, funky and comfortable, a delight to stay in with good facilities. Our room was fun, quite small but fantastic for a short stay. Handy to have a car for a longer stay but their airport collection and drop-off was great. Would def. stay again.

Seemed like one of the breakfast staff was struggling with her day but breakfast was fine although the fruit flies in abundance not so. Lacking in a little transparency with the breakfast pricing for children which seemed to change on us but other than that the stay was great.

Very convenient to the airport. Great and punctual shuttle service. Clean and new facilities. Very friendly staff. Nice rooms with comfortable bed and good bathroom. Loved the space saving approach to table and chairs (which hang on the walls until you need them). One of the better hotel gyms I've seen too. Lift service also very efficient, which is easy to overlook.

The food options are a bit limited and the breakfast includes runny and tasteless scrambled egg, which i simply couldnt eat. The breakfast coffee is also pretty poor, considering they have a barrista coffee service (not included in the breakfast price).

Everything is quirky and unique. Reminds me of QT hotels Sydney. Love the atmosphere, staff was very attentive and friendly.

Their valet service. I understand from time to time it can be very busy, but my car was parked outside at the front of the building before I even checked out from my room. (I can tell from my dash cam time stamp and see the video.) After checking out and handing the valet’s tag, I was being told to give it about 20 minutes and she would call me when it was ready. I waited for almost 50 minutes, and the lady who checked me out came to me and said she couldn’t find me earlier. I was literally sitting at the bar facing her, and she was literally smiling at me every time she saw me sitting there. What a joke. And she was just giggling, say sorry, hand the key and left. Very unprofessional.

Loved this location! So well insulated that we heard no airport noise. The quirks and clever additions were amazing. This foyer space is so versatile it encourages conversation and activity with books, games , lounges, and more. The food was better than some 5 star restaurants I've been in. I recommend the quinoa salad and the spinach pine nut gnocci. The breakfast was great, too. Don't miss the fruit and pastry trolley! We didn't see it at first as it was set apart, buit was worth it. All the juices were lovely. The kitchen staff worked tirelessly, and I'm grateful to them. It was massively busy, so they kept everything full. It's really great to get rested before a flight. The cafe did the best chai lattes also. I've tried them all over Sydney with disappointment, but here it was perfect! The rooms were interesting but enjoyable and very comfortable. They spared no expense on soundproofing, so I'm okay that there a few regular things missing. They accommodated really well. Definitely take your time here and enjoy all they have to offer

There's no information on the site about not having a bar fridge, so I had stuff that needed to be binned. If id known I wouldn't have bought stuff

We loved every moment our stay. Such a clever cute little hotel for a very reasonable price. From the warmest but genuine welcome to the clever way the rooms are laid out using loft spaces that align with the inset bathroom wall. Space saved by folding tables and chairs hung on the wall but also adding a unique charm. Beautifully designed spaces, with a focus on fun. Everything just made good sense in an "I'd never thought of that" way. Even though we arrived late and bar/restaurant shut, there was a small but good selection of food and drink options available from the 24hr snack bar. You could grab a half bottle of wine and sit back in the bar area to enjoy even though it was shut. Gym was great too. Welcome cocktail (mocktail for the kids) was the cherry on top. Thanks Moxy! Precious and perfect memories made for my family and I.

I would have preferred a pinot noir wine option in the snack bar area.
