I enjoyed my stay at the Branksome Hotel. I stayed for 2 nights and had originally booked a room with 2 single beds. I asked for a change and a room with a queen bed instead, and they immediately accommodated my needs. My new room was comfy and overlooked the airport. The bed was comfy, and the room was spacious and luscious. Well designed. My friend and I used the hotel pool which was beautiful and warm. The sauna was a bonus as well. Only wished they had a spa as well.

The staff looked new and seemed like they lacked training in asking for information and customer service was lacking a sense of welcome. The breakfast was underrated and lacked flavour and for $29/per head, I felt underwhelmed.

The breakfast was good, the facilities were excellent, and staff were friendly. Although I didn’t get to use the pool and sauna due to being out and about most of the trip, it was very well designed, and good quality… and the gym has 24/7 access, which made it more better and easier. The Plane Watchers Bar on Level 7 was very nice too, and was good watching planes approaching the airport for landing… and was also good to watch from the room that has a view of the airport.

The only negative was using the room power cards to gain entry into the rooms. Would suggest providing room keys for all the guests, and still give a card to power the rooms.

Property was amazing. Had everything you needed. Pool, sauna, bed, close to the airport, in house restaurant and buffet breakfast, parking. Superb and washing and dryers in the room! It really is good value for money but in saying that, having paid a lot of money, there were still some areas to improve in. Thank you for putting us close to the lifts - that was very convenient for my grandmother and we’re both very thankful for that. :)

When we arrived to our two bedroom apartment, one of the rooms was locked so we asked reception to unlock the door and it took them a while to prioritise a simple task so we followed up twice until action was taken. We told the reception about a leak in the fridge - it was minor and didn’t impact us much but was leaking the kitchen floor and we notified reception Friday morning and no action was taken or further update to provide us. Just “we’ll look into it” but must’ve implied this to happen after we leave? Beds are soooo hard too but there is an option to request a comforter but wow you should just put the comforter on every bed to make it more accommodating.

Good price

Bathroom light very bright. To go to the toilet at night you have to turn on the full ceiling light and getting light blasted. No ambient light available. 6 pillows in bed but all the same grade of stiffness. They could have different firmness and quality instead. Shower soaps average small. Nothing special. The mattress is very very hard. A message on the bed says you can contact concierge to arrange for a softer pad on top. Who is going to do that at 11pm when you discover it? No microwave. Chip yellow label stickers everywhere to let you know what things are.

rooms are always well presented and clean, balcony could use some work

front desk staff on arrival can be a little blunt, i guess they at the time checking in a group of tourist's and I was not priority. My partner and have stayed here many times, because it works for us, but asking every guest to submit their drivers license, seems a little over kill, should only be the guest that is paying taking responsibility for the booking and room. also you don't provide enough bedding, due to past experiences prior to going out for the night, i requested extra blankets, which were provided....made my stay much more comfortable, as having to wear all my clothes in bed is not fun.

The room was lovely and gave us a lot of space. Having a washer and dryer in the room was also fantastic for a long trip. The pool and gym facilities were also very nice. Despite being located directly below the take-off path for the airport, the room was very well sound insulated.

The location was less than ideal for us as tourists. Using public transport, the nearest bus stop was a 10 minute walk, and the nearest metro/train stop was a 20 minute walk. I think this would be a fantastic place to stay if you have a larger group, and a hire car or are willing to pay for a taxi to get around.

Beautiful accommodation, extra close for myself and my Dad as we were both travelling the following morning. The room was exceptional, absolutely loved our stay. Especially the beds, everything we needed was available. Highly recommend our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Only thing was the male staff member at the front desk, when I left at 4.30am. He wasn't as friendly as the two staff members from the previous day. He may need extra training or find another position of employment. I left on Tuesday 21st of January. The staff at the front desk on Monday 20th of January at 4pm, were excellent 👌🏻

Having stayed at the Branksome a number of times for work in the past, I chose to stay there with my family in a two bedroom apartment after arriving late from an overseas flight. The room was extremely comfortable and quiet, with blackout blinds, which was wonderful for allowing us to sleep in a bit the next day after a long day of travel. Check in was fast and parking was easy. The receptionist offered to organise dinner for us. Before our departure overseas, we had stayed at a different airport hotel which was much less comfortable and very noisy. My kids have voted Branksome much better and asked if we can stay again soon!

The rooms are looking a bit more tired than a few years ago. The blackout blind had come out of its runner and crumpled when we rolled it down (although we sorted this out); and the electronic concierge tablet was uncharged and wouldn't work.
