We stayed here a few weeks ago, during our inter country flights. It's great to catch for international flights out. Staff is helpful, and problem solved for us straight away.

Our Air con had to be reset twice by them as is cut out. Our first stay here, this didn't happen, but they were very prompt to fix, and even offered us a different room if it cut out again. We could hear the lady in the next room yelling. Once we knocked on her door, we didn't hear here again, but I was surprised the walls weren't more soundproof. Minimal detail as it was resolved. As an fyi, it is cheaper if there is more than 1 of you, to take an Uber as opposed to the shuttle. Cost us about 17 total, instead of 12 each for the shuttle

Easy access to airport. Lovely workout facility and pool, albeit small, but has a nice view of DT Sydney. It is in another building, just a short 2 minute walk to get to. Great park and walking trail right by the hotel as well as some good eateries. Good air con, comfy pillows and bed . Love that they will store your luggage for no fee. We flew to Adelaide for 5 days, and they held our luggage for us.

No free airport shuttle. $12 per person, or you can simply Uber for about $17 instead. Be sure to ask the front desk for pool towels before you head across the street, and take your own water with you as there is nothing once you get there. Otherwise this is the way to go if you need to be close to the international airport side

A great place to stay the night before and international flight (they have a paid shuttle if you need it). Clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff and great location. If you don't have too much luggage, it is a pretty easy walk to the airport over the bridge and on a raised walkway straight to departures. We have stayed here twice now and would happily return. They did a special on breakfast of $25 per head and free for kids if you pay on check in. The breakfast buffet was good. If you want to eat out, the Rowers Club is just around the corner or walk accross the park to the dining precinct at Woli Creek for lots of good choices.

Only issue for me is the pillow wasn't great for me. Maybe I was unlucky this time and needed to ask for another one. No other issues.

THe hotel/room were very good (very good bed, shower, etc). Close to the airport.

Ideally would like a hotel shuttle included, but the Sydney Super Shuttle was ok. We were pretty lucky in that it came right when we needed it, otherwise would have had to take a cab/uber since the shuttle only runs about once an hour at night. Also, the markings for where to pick up the shuttle at the airport were very bad (had to ask around and luckily someone was there who knew something, it could have easily been a much worse situation).

Beautiful room, amazing beds and helpful onsite staff. The call centre were a nightmare to deal with trying to find the shuttle , kept telling us it was ‘across the road from where you are’ we explained we were looking at a massive building site and we’re then told they had never been there and weren’t locals so we’re using the same map we were. Connection to the hotel would have made the whole situation less stressful. However once we finally got to the hotel on the shuttle the staff were incredibly helfpful. Room was lovely and shuttle back to the airport efficient.

Quiet, clean and large room. We used it as an overnight after arriving back from Europe. We caught the shuttle bus from the airport for the quick ride and were charged $10 as it is a price per room (the driver takes your name and then the cost of $10 is added to your room bill at the hotel) no cash or ticket is needed for the bus, which is a great service. We slept soundly and had an exceptional breakfast the next morning. We also asked for a late checkout of 12noon which was granted at no extra cost. We booked through Booking.com and didn’t pay until we arrived at the property. Good old fashioned service!You won’t be disappointed and we will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast buffet was lovely, room service was lovely too (my child loved her hot chocolates!) the room was clean and cool. Checking in and out was nice and easy. The shuttle service was appreciated to get to and from the airport. All staff were friendly and helpful with a few showing genuine interest in our stay and our plans.

The pillows were too squishy- they ended up hurting my neck. I tried four different pillows but all the same in our room. (My daughter had brought her own pillow and had great nights sleep though) The aircon was pretty loud also at intervals sometimes making it hard to get to sleep. We didn’t use the restaurant for dinners as we didn’t find anything on the menu we were interested in, instead opting to eat out or order in from local restaurant. Again this is just personal preference and childrens tastes and other diners would have a different opinion according to their tastes.

We loved the staff here, so friendly and 24/7 reception was great. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the pillows so much. The room was spacious, I would suggest another luggage rack in the room with 2 beds so we both could have one. We also loved the pool, it was a short 2 min walk from the hotel lobby and looked over the planes taking off. Breakfast buffet was amazing!! We were in Sydney from NZ for the Eras tour and all the staff were on board with the excitement and had decorated the Lobby Taylor swift themed which was great for photos. We will stay again if ever back in Sydney!

Size of the room, comfortable beds, we'll priced and great variety buffet breakfast. Restaurant meal for dinner was delicious. Food for our conference was mostly delicious (the beef was very tough) Courteous, attentive staff.

Bathroom badly needs renovation. No added bathroom extras such as shower cap. Told dinner fish only came with some tomato on the side so ordered side dish of mash only to find the fish came with mash underneath it as well. So we paid for a potato dish we didn't need.

After a very long long haul flight, we were so glad to have a tasty dinner at the bar and get some sleep in our family room - it was worth the extra I paid for an upgrade. The beds were soooo comfy, we didn't want to leave them the following morning! Thanks to the lovely attendant at breakfast who explained the fine art of making a poached egg to my daughter :). Would recommend the hotel to other folks wanting to stay a night after a long flight before travelling on (in our case, back to Newcastle the next day).

My only constructive feedback would be concerning the Sydney Super Shuttle we used to get to the hotel from the airport; didn't realise the Novotel would be the last stop on a 40 minute round trip. Had we known that we would have taken a taxi for the same price and a quarter of the time! Might be worth a mention on the website or when replying to customer inquiries. (I'm aware for customers going TO the airport it's ideal :) ).
