NC is a comfortable apartment hotel located close to the Redfern district of Sydney. We found it well located for public transport, and with several great cafes nearby - and the Spice Alley is a must! The apartment had everything we needed, and a minor technical issue with the sofa bed was rectified by the hotel very quickly. The rooms are secure and the hotel staff are helpful. Several small supermarkets are a short walk away, although these can be rather pricey.

The apartment was basic but appropriate at this price point. It had all we needed, but aspects could do with some updating. The decor was rather bland!

We didn’t hv any breakfast served, and it was obviously not included.

The fire alarm rang in the middle of the night, while we were there on our 4th day or something. The stairway door was locked (both)we were wondering in the balcony of our room thinking what to do, and the hotel clients were at the main door we saw but luckily later on the firebigrade left. But there was no one abswered the phone at the reception and that was very disappointing .

The staff were phenomenal; I'm an awful sleeper so was hoping for a room quite far from the main road; they did their best and unfortunately I was still a bit of a pain. The way it was dealt with by Phil was exceptional and he went above and beyond to assist and ensure the best outcome for everyone. The rooms are basic but a great size, good kitchenette facilities and while dated, are clean and tidy.

While this property is in a great location, it is close to a main road. This means there is a lot of road noise, particularly during peak commuter times. If you're a light sleeper and can't get a room at the other end of the building, this is not the best option for you. Slightly dated rooms, but made up for with excellent pricing.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I discovered that the location was actually quite optimal: close to public transportation including Central train station and within walking distance of CBB. I learned that rooms are privately owned and thus of varying quality and furnishings. Nesuto manages property.

There should be a minimum standard of furnishings and fittings because after staying in two different rooms one was of lower quality than the other. There could be more utensils and tableware in kitchens. Also there could be one or two more lamps.

The staff were so helpful. Jarina in particular went above and beyond - giving us a free upgrade to one of our rooms so we could be next to each other, organising a cot for one room and linen for the fold out bed for the other and allowing us to leave our car parked in the hotel parking on our last day, while we attended an event nearby. Jarina and Phil were both very helpful and quick with answering questions before our stay. The kitchenette facilities were exactly what we needed, for both our own breakfast/food and for preparing bottles etc for the baby. The location was also perfect for attending events at Carriageworks.

Perfect location for where we needed to go in a quiet inner city suburb with trees and plants and quieter than expected considering near a main road The staff were all very helpful and helped us stay an extra night.

Our apartment was close to the main road still for noise, it needed a coat of paint as didn’t look as fresh as in the pictures, and the door was hard to open to the bedroom. The spa was cold and the tv remote didn’t work.

This hotel is great for the price with the rooms having a kitchen and a balcony, and comy sofa beds if you need the extra room. I love the rooftop pool and the location is great. Its my go to hotel now for weekends in Sydney. Everything else is ridiculously expensive.

Door handles need some handyman attention.... And I would absolutely love it if they didnt lock the stairwells so you could go both up and down the stairs. The lifts do not make me comfortable and it seems silly to have to use the lifts to go up or down a few levels (even pool is only on level 4).

The customer service was exceptional. They gave us an early check in at no extra cost. The beds were really comfortable. The woman at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was awesome, with a great view.

Nothing negative to say. It was so much cheaper than any other accommodation that close to the CBD.

Well placed, everything you could want in one room including washing machine! Staff super helpful - especially when it turned out I had booked one night less that I thought! AND the best bakery ever on the next corner down.

It is a bit noisy from the road but the third floor was better. I did not know where the pool was - perhaps a map in the room could say as I booked on after reception had shut.

Loved the rooftop pool and spa area and how it was sun protected it did rain the whole weekend while we stayed but we still went for a swim it’s perfect when it’s warmer and sunnier days, and loved that it had parking available too

The shower head in the bathroom wasn’t very good and felt the shower could have been a bit cleaner there was still soap scum in the grout lines and a little mould in areas
