The welcome was very warm and the guy on reception was super helpful from the get go. Nothing was too much trouble. My room was lovely and the hotel makes the most of its wonderful setting. Everything worked and the bed was super comfortable. Ability to book the shuttle to the airport was also very helpful

I think it is important to be aware that the reception isn't staffed full time (although arrangements for this period are in place in case you need to contact someone urgently) - it isn't for everyone. The corridors and shared spaces could do with a refresh.

We stayed one night in this hotel. After hours check in procedure made entry so easy late at night. We were given clear instructions & even a video! Room is small but has all we needed. Who comes to Sydney to sit in a hotel room anyway! Nice big comfy bed. It was very clean & we appreciated the quality bathroom products. Great price for this accommodation, so close to city. Really friendly & helpful staff. Thanks so much.

If I have to make any suggestion here it would be to put some air fresheners in the stairwell as there is a musty smell, but we get this is an old renovated building & this did not affect our stay in any way.

This is a fabulous, good-value and modern stay for the solo traveller or couple. I love the location - it's close to Kings Cross Station, loads of delicious eats and bars, along with quirky shops. The room is fresh, light-filled and the bed is huge and comfy. I stayed in a balcony room, and had a lovely time watching the street goings on and having a cup of tea out there in the morning. A nice, quiet room to sleep in and the bathroom is modern, with lovely L'Occitane products. Highly recommended!

The location was great, short walking distance to Kings Cross and a lot of cafes and restaurants. I liked the choice of different pillows on the bed and staff was really nice as they let me leave my luggage in reception for a few hours after check-out.

The bathroom smelled a bit when I arrived, got better once I turned the fan on. The room was fairly narrow for a "King" and some things were slightly dirty, for example television screen was covered in dust and the terrace window had marks, which is a shame when you have such a nice terrace outside. Little details but it all builds up.

I had a wonderful stay, the room met my expectations. Clean, warm and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location was perfect, close to public transport, and great places for food and coffee. The highlight was certainly the customer service. I was made to feel warmly welcomed and well informed about Sydney, the attractions and what I could do.

These are out of the accommodations control, but other patrons were extremely noisy during my stay. Also some outside noise from the street.

I unfortunately only had the time to spend one night in Sydney but this hotel exceeded all my expectations! Fantastic location with the train station being only a short walk away. The hotel room itself is clean, comfortable, organized, has good quality toiletries, and the outdoor patio is a great bonus! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, they were happy to help me with any questions I had. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice quiet place to stay in Sydney!!

I love the location as it is close to Moore Park and I can walk to work. I also love the Black Bottle French Bistro next door. The bathrooms are fresh and clean and really big which I love. The bed is super comfy. I also had my room upgraded to a larger one at the front of the hotel which I love.

I don't love the self check in, but I get it as I always arrive later after work. There is a definite trick with the door.

Recently had the pleasure of staying in this hotel, and let me tell you, it was a blast! This gem of a hotel is located in an absolutely fantastic spot, easy access to St. Vincent Hospital and Kings Cross. Everything I wanted to explore was within walking distance, from vibrant cafes and restaurants to. The rooms were clean and spotless. The front desk was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Overall, I can't recommend Sydney Boutique Hotel enough.

Very good location. Room with window was adequate and had enough space. Close to multiple restaurants, cafes and bars, and ideal neighbourhood to people watch and relax in. Also brilliant links to the city, and only a 25 minute walk to the botanical gardens. Helpful staff who gave us complimentary early check in when we arrived early.

Stayed at Sydney Boutique on the night of the 1st of August We arrived in the afternoon while a young lady was swearing and yelling at the front desk staff, he was extremely embarrassed yet polite and “calm” given the situation, we felt extremely sorry for him After she “finished” abusing him we finally checked in and we were “scared” to go up to our room and find dirt or bad surprises but the room and common areas were actually very clean, bed was comfortable and location is amazing close to shops, public transport, restaurants and cafes. The receptionist and the different lady the following morning were extremely friendly and polite We don’t understand who people could even speak and treat someone like that. This hotel is not the Hilton but it’s clean and extremely well priced Highly recommended
