Location was good, close to bus and train stops. Several very good cafes nearby, as well as two supermarkets minutes away.

In the bathroom, rust is very noticeable on shower surrounds. Bathroom tile floor was either dirty (towels on floor picked up that dirt) or needs replacing. Rain shower head is not ideal for daily showering. I understand that other hotels are built very close, but a suggestion may be that an opaque film is placed over part of the windows to allow for light to come in without compromising privacy. Also, I was told (by the friendly staff) that there was no option for less bulky pillows, I purchased my own pillow locally to get a pillow height I could sleep with.

We had a lovely stay at the Bayswater Sydney! The staff were exceptional, especially Silvia, and they all made extra efforts to make our stay as comfortable as possible, including giving out free water and drinks for Mardi Gras! The location was good; we found it was very easy to get in and out of the city, with multiple modes of public transport available within walking distance. There were also plenty of cafes/food places nearby, and amenities like grocery stores for anything we needed. Our room was comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed the boutiquey vibes of the hotel. The one downfall was that the walls were quite thin, so we could hear everything in other rooms and on the street below. Overall, a really pleasant stay, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good base to explore from! We will definitely be back again!

i loved the location, the staff, the facilities were mostly great and clean, the room was perfect for a solo traveller and loved that it was easy accessibility and that the room had a pin code instead of an access pass as you never had to worry about losing a pass and having to replace it. i had a slight issue with my phone & the staff were absolutely amazing and catered to my needs on assisting with my phone situation.

the only downside was the strong smell of fresh paint, i was able to air the room out and it made it bearable. the toilet was slightly leaking and i hadn’t noticed it until a day and abit in.

The reception certainly knows how to make me feel welcomed and looked after. I love the personable approach. Shout out to Zaneta and Maya. They are so hospitable. They remember me and was very accommodating with a "That's alright, no problem' attitude." I was given the preferred room I requested. They allowed me to leave a luggage, if need be, for a short while, in between stays. At one time, Maya even had my stored luggage ready in the room. Also, the housekeeping personnels, although of younger age, are so respectful and thorough with their cleaning/setting up of the room each time. Location is SUPERB -close to Kings Cross station, bus stops literally in front of the hotel, many choices for dining, grocery, hospital (St. Vincents), park (Rushcutter's Bay).

I find it difficult to bring my heavy luggage up and down to/from the reception as they only have steps. I truly wish they can figure out a way to make this manageable. Around the time I was there, they have ongoing renovation work, so the smell can be quite disturbing. In room 302, the water closet is located way too close to the lavatory.

Receptionist was very friendly and helpful.. Location great. Bedding comfortable.

Sleeper couch had a huge cockcroach. Toilet corners and floor bit dirty.

Lovely staff, great location (train 2 minutes walk, city 2 minute ride, family 5 minute walk) fresh air, good quality bed linen, very clean bathroom and hot rain shower! Also each room I've stayed in has been quiet. Lovely welcome card and complimentary gift-wrapped fudge and drink voucher. Those little touches make a big difference ❤️

The first room allocated was on the ground floor and as soon as we entered we detected a very musty damp odour, and noticed no window to let fresh air in. I've stayed previously on the second, third and fourth floors, all with fresh air, open window options. Staff were wonderful and very quickly moved us to the third floor, for which we were very grateful. Mind the step into the bathroom - painful if you kick it!

The 1st room we were allocated was looking at a brick wall, not flown half way across the world to see that, asked to be moved and they did 2 nights later. Can't imagine anyone wanting to stay in this room. The staff were friendly and helpful, we needed an optician and to be able print a picture, we were well directed to where we needed to be. Even checking the opticians was open. WIFI was good and free. Good location for access to Sydney city and the beaches. Good little restaurants on the road, be mindful they shut about 10 or sometimes earlier. Washing facilities were useful and cheap to use. Provided details and times of how to get to the airport.

Coffee supplies were not always replenished.

I highly recommend this hotel l! I travel alots of countries but i can say this hotel is one of the best hotel i been! Not because the hotel just because the staff! All the staff are REALLY REALLY GOOD! From the reception to housekeeping !! I cant for get how good all the receptionist they are really friendly and helpful! The hotel are not so perfect but all the staff are there are really friendly!! I can give 10 Star to all the staff most specially to the indian guy in the late night they help us all the time 👍 very very proud of you guys! I will definitely come back!

The hotel was very clean, easy to access and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was cleaned daily with towels refreshed as required. There is a bus stop directly outside which made getting around very convenient. Also there are a number of decent restaurants as well as fast food joints to get a quick bite from which was useful after a long day of exploring.

The shower door didn't quite line up so the bathroom floor got soaked as a result, but it's all tiled with a central drain so not the end of the world. Also the wardrobe doors didn't fit properly so couldn't be closed properly. The area in which the hotel is situated is a bit on the dodgy side with us encountering a number of drunk and disorderly people along the streets as well as making lots of noise when we were trying to sleep. Didn't feel overly safe walking back at night time.

Our stay at this hotel in Sydney was nothing short of excellent. The room was incredibly comfortable, with a spacious bed that allowed for plenty of personal space. The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful; they even stored our belongings in a secure locker before our check-in date and delivered them to our room once it was ready. One of the highlights was the variety of teas offered by the hotel, all of which were delicious. Additionally, the ground floor lobby provided a comfortable workspace with two desks, perfect for working on a laptop. Highly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Sydney.
