The staff here are some of the friendliest hotel staff I’ve ever met. Special thanks to Sarah who made us smile and laugh after a 24 hour journey. The hotel is nicely done and the beds are incredibly comfortable and really clean (we’ve been travelling for 6 months now and this was by far the comfiest bed we’ve had). Location is perfect - a few mins from the metro, supermarkets nearby and easy walking distance to central Sydney. There’s also a communal kitchen with a microwave and kettle.

Some things were a little run down in places, particularly the carpet. The shower also wasn’t the best - it pointed at the wall so it was difficult to use and the cubicle was tiny. It also leaked into the rest of the bathroom so the floor got quite wet. But to be honest, for the amount you’re paying for such a well located place that’s overall really nicely done, these things don’t matter.

Not only was the location very central and accessible, but the staff was so amazing to deal with while I was there. They were very friendly and always ready to help or chat. The entire place was so cozy and quaint, and I never had to go too far for anything I needed. There's a grocery across, pharmacies nearby, and a ton of restaurants and bars to explore in the area. Definitely will be returning! :)

The only thing that I couldn't fully understand was the scheduling for housekeeping, but when I requested to have sheets changed/towels changed/etc. they were always ready to help!

I stayed at your lodging twice. I’m not sure which this review is for. The first stay my room was a bit small with barely enough room to get into the bed. The bathroom was also tiny. But the second stay I had a nice room, with a larger bathroom and a window overlooking the front street. So all in all it was a nice place, staff was very helpful, Victoria is a friendly and an asset to your operation.

As I mentioned, that first span of days I stayed there my bedroom was adequate but the bed width made it difficult to enter the bed. That mattress was also somewhat worn. My second stay made up for the tight quarters in the first bedroom.

No 9 Springfield was beyond what we had expected. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. All our queries were answered so efficiently. The place is located right at the heart of Potts Point. An ideal spot and accessible to transportations (trains, taxis, Ubers and buses). Shops are nearby and so are food restaurants. Laundry services were also available and so was a shared kitchen. We needed to extend for an additional day and that was sorted so quickly. We were given different options for checking out which I thought was brilliant. I can’t recommend this spot enough. When and if you can, don’t hesitate to stay there. We couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay.

The room and bathroom weren't too big, but as we were there for sightseeing, it was a good enough size for 2 of us for overnight stays. The room was clean and looked like the advertised picture. The breakfast on the porch in front of the hotel was great. There is also a large food and veg supermarket across the road with tasty food and beverage establishments nearby. Very close to the Kings Cross train station (1 stop into town) and lots to see in the area. There parking garage is a short walk away. Helpful and friendly staff.

We were on the top floor but the lift didn't go to the top floor. We had to carry our suitcases up one very narrow flight of stairs.

Beautiful historic Hotel. Location is excellent. Very easy short walk from Kings Cross Station. Easy walking access to Art Gallery, Museum and other Sydney attractions. There are short cuts from the Hotel that easily allow you to walk to Sydney CBD through the back streets of Potts Point. A very picturesque walk into CBD. The friendliness of reception staff would make me return. The reception guy gave me some interesting background information on Kings Cross that l didn’t know and he always greeted me by name and a smile whenever l passed by.

On a return visit l think l would stay in one of the rooms on the top floor overlooking the tree lined Springfield street. The room l had was overlooking the back laneway and was super quiet most of the night until early morning noise from garbage collection. A Minor issue as all of the other positives made my visit one to remember and cherish.

Thank you I wrote this review and will give 10/10 Springfield The location is unbeatable! Just a two minute walk to the metro and tons of bus routes, this hotel was a find. It's beautiful and charming and reminded me a lot of the apartments in Kensington in the UK. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I appreciated that this place had a washer and dryer that they let you use for free as well as a kitchen. The towels and sheets were clean and the rooms were nice. I saw a lot of complaints about the shower drainage in the reviews but they really weren't bad in my opinion. I'll stay here every time I visit Sydney.

Location is great - right on the edge of the main street through King's Cross so everything is accessible but back jsut enough to also be quiet. Easy access to public transit. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Room a little small - though still comfortable - and I was up on the fourth floor, which is not accessible by elevator. Desk staff DID confirm that I was okay being up there and the trade off was worth it to be on a quiet floor but the stairwell from 3rd floor - where the elevator stopped - to 4th was tight and tricky to navigate with luggage.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Sydney, with a few areas for improvement. The overall ambiance was welcoming, and the rooms were clean and well-kept. The highlight was the incredibly comfortable beds, which ensured a good night's rest. However, the bathroom was quite small and felt a bit cramped, though it was functional and clean. The biggest drawback was the lack of soundproofing. It was easy to hear noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, which could be disruptive at times. While the hotel delivers on comfort and cleanliness, addressing the noise issues would make it an even better experience.

Close to subway to get into the city and to Sydney Harbour easily. Local market right across the street for fresh food until 9 p.m. & pharmacy as well if needed. Breakfast was limited and not included, but cost was reasonable & food and cappucinos were delicious. There was a kettle, dish washer, small fridge, coffee maker & a hodge podge of cups & cutlery available in the lower level for the use of guests, if you bought fresh food at the local market & wanted to eat in the foyer area rather than eat out.

There appeared to be a couple of washing machines for guest use but one was not working when we were there. It would have been difficult if more than one guest needed to wash clothes.
