The balcony was very cozy and I loved that there was a good wine selection available - the balcony was a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The lodge wasn't too noicy at night, even though there was a busy road nearby. Very good location, it was near restaurants but was not located directly next to them, so you could get a good night sleep. Others guests were respectful and there were no noice disturbance from the neighbors.

The lights on the balcony did not work. The kitchen towel had not been changed to a new one.

The manager or owner of the lodge was amazing and helpful, she even let me check out a bit later than the usual check out time. I booked the superior queen studio and it is as big as you can get for the price, has an amazing terrace, a ceiling fan and a normal rotating fan, plus there are 2 desks that you can work on.

this place was 10/10 SLAYYYYYY the rooms are nice, LOVED the kitchenette in the room, very useful. there was a sink, mini fridge, microwave oven, cutleries, hand towels. only thing was there's no lighting in the kitchenette area...we just move the lamp over and made do so its ok! its all the way at the end of the street so its actually quite quiet. everything was kept clean while we were there, even though its a shared bathroom and it can be a bit squeezy if you're on the taller side, we didnt see any other guest whenever we went to the toilet, and it was so close to our rooms that it might as well have been an ensuite! check in and check out process was quick and easy over text. there was a bit of a mix up when i checked in...my room got confused with another guest checking in the same day and they were actually given my room's door code D: but the owner quickly fixed the issue and change my room's door code to ensure our safety & comfort and also offered us a bottle of wine...thank you for the gesture, it was appreciated! this place only has stairs so if you have lots of luggage...get ready for the work out. the place is decently close to kings cross station, and there are lots of shops, restaurants, bars, supermarket nearby. i'll definitely want to stay here when im back in sydney :)

it would be more convenient to have some lighting installed at the kitchenette!

Simple but fresh, clean and nice. Lovely handwritten note welcomed us on arrival and as it was NYE we were also given a complimentary bottle of wine which really made our arrival so great. Quick and friendly communication from the manager was super. Really nice furniture, loved how it was decorated. Great mirrors, essential for getting ready to go out!

It's a shared bathroom set up, but we knew that beforehand, so was just one of those things. Clean though, nice soaps and shampoo etc.

I like when I do reservation online to giving same room 11 all the time. Thanks

Reception's altitude wasn't good. During the week I did many time extention, then who work front desk did ask me for a deal 1 week if I come back to hotel. Then she said she gonna keep me in the same room.I made a reservation online. And couldn't checked in till 5 pm, my room wasn't ready I made check out the day after and reception girl said I haven't do payment. Payment had been processed already the day before I checked in. Un professional altitude Reception didn't placed me same room even she said the room is available where I use to stay. Also didn't let me to check in on time had to wait till 5 , if I known wouldn't back to the hotel. Thanks

The room was clean with enough towels and blankets. It doesn’t have an AC but it’s not an issue. The only challenge is going up the stairs since there is no lift but otherwise we had a pleasant stay. We will definitely book again when we come back.

everything is neat and clean

After booking, my booking info seems released to spam groups, and from then on I keep receiving spam messages pretending they are the hotel host. I hope this is not because the property holder collaborating with telecom fraud groups.

The hostess was incredibly accommodating and did everything she could to ensure our stay was as comfortable as it could be. Amazing beds, we just melted into the mattress. High ended toiletries were provided. The entire building was clean and tidy, including bathrooms. Excellent communication from check-in to check-out.

Amazing value for money. Room and hotel were immaculate and had a really funky vibe, modern. Super quiet location so close to the Cross and busy roads. Heaps of ammenities in the room and perfect for an overnight or small getaway. Was a little hesitant about the shared bathroom but honestly was always super clean and modern and we never came across anyone else using it. This has become our go-to accommodation when in Sydney and we've booked future trips here now.

View from the balcony wasn't incredible but still nice to sit on and look out at

The location was so convenient and for the price it was the best place I've chosen to stay in the area, not overcrowded and fresh air with opening French doors, beautiful trees along the street and the bed was surprisingly one of the most comfortable aswell

External bathroom was very very small
