This not the first time for me to stay at Highfield. I choose this place because of its close proximity to transport, I just need a safe and clean place to spend the night at an affordable rate and an area where there's plenty of places to find something to eat. For me personally, the 2pm check time is a concern for me. I would like to check in at about lunch time. I want to be able to check in, freshen up and off to the footy.

Great location, well presented room & comfortable bed. Just what we needed for a 2 x night stay in the city. Easy to get around on foot with subway so close, shops, bars & restaurants

Our room was facing the street so was quite noisy including garbage trucks & street sweepers in the early hours. Would suggest ear plugs if you have a street facing room

Great location, check-in was easy, guy was really friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms were spacious and kept clean. Shower had a nook to place your body wash, shampoo and what not. Also had a seat with a hook to hang your towel. Bedroom has a TV, small fridge and a fan. I was unable to hear any noise from the neighbors so that was good.

If you are travelling as a couple or alone, this is the room for you. It's comfortable, clean and has everything you need for your rest, the bed is very comfortable and it's a fair price for what it offers, private bathroom, air conditioning, fridge and TV.

As a recommendation, fumigate more often, there were a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom.

Comfortable bed, small fridge was handy for breakfast food and milk for hot drinks. Sink handy for teeth brushing. Nice to have the fan in the room as it was hot weather, made for a comfortable sleep.

There could have been a couple of mugs, bowls and spoons in the room, as there was a kettle and fridge. Not a big deal, as we borrowed some from the shared kitchen, washed and put them back before we left!

Location of the hotel is fantastic, in Potts Point very close to a train station and nearby multiple public transport options. Powerful fan included in the room (no A/C). Comfortable bed and very clean shared shower/bathroom. No A/C was expected for the price point.

Bottled water available to purchase would have been a nice option.

Conflicting check in time 10pm or 8pm? Arrived 9.30pm and had to call twice as hadn’t looked at any emails after booking to say call before 8 to make arrangements for later check in.

God size poorly ser up though Needs more colour perhaps a nice peice of art on walllhad a kettle in room but no utensils to make coffee and no milk or coffee

Nothing I didn’t like

upon making the booking whilst embarking on an international flight I put in a query about an early checkin. the staff member was quick to respond and when I arrived, the staff member who’s name is Adrian was quick to find me a vacant room without an issue or drama. and also upon request and availability a late check out was approved without a problem. the facilities have a great keypad entry and the room was clean and tidy. the bedding was comfortable. room spacious, quiet. housekeeping do a great job keeping the facilities clean and tidy. the location is terrific with the trains easily accessible for Sydney and surrounding suburbs. just to top it off, the local community in the coffee shops, supermarkets and general public are friendly, polite and engaging and you get a sense of community.

Clean and comfortably furnished room. Very quiet with good bed.

Previous misleading reviews, other than carrying my bag up two floors the accommodation is all good.
