Very helpful and friendly staff especially the owner who helped bring my bag in on the day of check in as I was on crutches. In general all the staff were helpful and accommodating with requests especially in the cafe area and acknowledgment when seeing you first time in the morning. While I don’t always expect it, I’ve stayed in a some great 5 star hotels and sometimes being in a big Hotel or Motel you don’t always get a hello or acknowledgement from the staff first thing in the morning. Angel Sussurri should be proud that the simple acknowledgement of a good morning to guests goes a long way, So thank you very much for making me feel welcome. Food is yummy, the coffee is fantastic and the cafe I love that it caters for a bit of everything with snacks and drinks of different varieties for all occasions. I most definitely will be back in the near future and my thanks to the Staff. Thank You Jason M

My only criticism would be weekdays/weekend in the summer or late spring period could breakfast be served a little earlier. While it didn’t hinder us in getting some sort of food whatsoever as the Angel Sussurri Staff were extremely accommodating in getting us something to eat a bit before the official breakfast time.

From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted by a smiling Aurora who made us feel at home. She gave us a tour and explained everything we needed to know to settle in- even before we arrived, this venue went above and beyond to find us local transportation to and from our wedding location to ensure we were not ever stuck! The room itself was very spacious, absolutely immaculate, inviting and homey. The bed was a dream to sleep in, honestly haven't slept that well in a while! Pillows had two different profiles to cater to different sleepers- which Hubby and I are, blankets were not scratchy and were adequately warm and the bed was nice and big! The staff in the morning were super friendly and catered to our changing requests of sun to shade in the beautifully set up alfresco dining area. Food from the restaurant was AMAZING! My morning juice even came with beautiful flowers as decoration, a beautiful little detail that was not overlooked. This is truly a place where you felt like part of the family and genuinely felt relaxed for the duration of your stay- highly highly highly recommended 👌

I loved everything about this place- only thing that I can say I didn't like was competing with the neighbours for hot water in the shower, but this we know is not a result of poor anything on behalf of Angel Sussurri, it's an unfortunate downfall of small townships everywhere.

Ideal final stage of our tour up and down the Central Coast. Close enough to Pacific Highway and Sydney airport to easily make our flight, but sufficiently 'up valley' to give us a taste of the mountains..... and great food - the main reason we chose to stay. Matt cooked us a delicious meal (the best pie ever eaten!!) even though we arrived late, and every meal thereafter was top quality. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is homely and comfortable. Plus our walk along the Bumble Hill part of the Great North Walk will never be forgotten.

Something we encountered several times traveling in Australia - we are too big for queen beds. A superking sized bed would have made the stay perfect.

Lovely staff! Very kind and helpful. We were staying for a wedding, which was being held nearby and they provided us with advice as to where it was, and also allowed us extra time to check in / out to make the process smoother. The staff even took the time the next day to ask us about the wedding. It might seem like a little thing, but it is these kind gestures that make your stay in accommodation very pleasant, as you feel genuinely welcome.

Nothing, I don't think. There aren't lots of additional faculties, but we weren't there for that. There was a lovely sitting room downstairs for guest use, breakfast availability at the adjacent cafe, ironing facilities within the room, so we were happy. (We did have an issue with our w.c. continually running, but as soon as we mentioned it, the owner came to check it, so you can't ask for more than that.)

Very quiet area; easy access to cafe; rooms quiet & stylish; love the decor; restaurant food was fantastic & waiter very helpful & easy to talk to; enjoyed the ambience whilst dining. Aurora very attentive & genuinely interested in listening to us.

Could be better lighting in bathroom not good for putting on makeup; there was a gap under room door that let in outside hall light, I needed to block this out during the night. Cafe had gluten free cakes that did not look fresh so I was not enticed to try.

We were moved over to the cottage across the road - it was amazing!! It was like your own little hideaway with beautiful gardens and everything you needed for a short stay - huge king bed, couch, TV, kitchen, bathroom - views, resident lizard. It was nice to be able to cross the road and grab breakfast and snacks when we wanted as well.

The food at the cafe near by was delicious, the staff were lovely and very accomodating on anything that we asked, we were not from the local area so they were helpful in giving us direction. The room itself was lovely and had everything that you needed. I would recommend this stay to anyone looking for a weekend getaway.

This place is a little far for public transport to get around the area but with help from the owner we were able to solve this problem quickly. I would just suggest organising transport before you come which was our mistake for not doing that.

Our breakfast was great,my waffles with ice-cream and berries was to die for and so was was hubbys breakfast,coffee was perfect,the chef also a owner made the best dinner on our first night even though the restaurant was closed.

Nothing could of been better the staff and owners were so lovely nothing to was much for them to please there guests,even the little shops were beautiful,outside seating was lovely so homely would stay there again and tell all our friends.

My partner and I come up from Sydney to ride mountain bikes at Ourimba State Forest. We have visited the cafe a few times to recharge. The coffee and food are delicious, especially the home made cakes. This time we decided we’d stay the night and we had the best time. We especially loved sitting downstairs in the lounge room sipping red wine, chatting and being served a delicious meal by lovely staff. We were very comfortable and well looked after. It’s like a home away from home.

We had a great stay at Angel Sussurri. Matt was extremely accommodating going above & beyond , offerring us early check-in for easy out our tight schedule. The room was clean and tidy. The staff were all lovely and friendly. Beautiful cafe and the restaurant downstair provided great quality breakfast and lunch, they were delicious. Thank you Matt, Aurora and the team

Wish the WiFi could cover bigger area. When we were sitting on the outdoor Cafe enjoying the coffee, the WiFi broke off. No signal at all.
