I've happily stayed at this modest motel many times over the years. It is well staffed; clean, very comfortable and quiet, and has everything needed for a relaxing night's stay--a fridge, kettle and microwave, tea and coffee, a TV, heater, table, comfy couch, good internet, soap and shampoo, etc. (A window can be opened--always a plus for me!) Behind and below the motel is a peaceful bend in the river. (There are good eateries--including the Soldiers Club--a short drive away in the town's centre.)

The only thing missing was a bedside lamp.

Three family members stayed in Room 18. It was well maintained, neat, clean and quiet, looked newly refurbished. Well stocked with everything you needed. It was a good location, not too far to drive to town. Also a fish & chip shop a few minutes walk. Backs onto the Yass river, peaceful view out the back window of a heritage farm, with cattle grazing and birdsong. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Property was easy to find, great location. Management were very friendly and helpful.

We found the beds to be very small and uncomfortable, like sleeping on a sofa bed where you roll to the middle of the bed. Also the shower had the red and blue dots indicating which was hot and cold the wrong way around. Very dangerous if a child was to go shower or an elderly person and thinking they are turning the cold water on first would find extremely hot water running.

Bed was very comfortable, a/c was excellent.

Fridge needed defrosting. I thought there was a towel stuffed inside until I touched it and realised it was a n icy build up. There were two teaspoons but no large spoon, poor reception on tv and I checked out without any interaction with staff as there was nobody around. Water flow in bathroom taps was very poor.

The room was very clean, the bed was done and there were extra towels left for us to use. All smelt very good and the room was clean in general. I really had nothing to complain about. ive been there before and will always come back to the same place.

Only thing that needs to be improved on is the free wireless access. Signal not very strong and kept on dropping out for me every 2 minutes. Motel needs to invest in a wifi Mesh.

We were well impressed! I booked very late driving up the highway and was worried we would be jammed in a small space with uncomfy beds, but it was totally the opposite. Nice quiet spot, really comfy beds, lovely shower, nice and clean room with a surprising amount of space (we had a queen and two singles). A bonus was an easy stroll to the river for a morning jog along a well maintained path. Yass was a great spot to stop.

An older hotel which was scrupulously clean and so obviously well maintained. The staff went beyond to make me feel welcome. I would stay there again and will if I return to Yass.

Honestly there was nothing I didn't like. Modest - yes. Clean - yes. Well maintained - yes. Good staff - yes. Hard to find something to place in this category.

Bed was clean comfortable and warm. Heater air-conditioning worked well . Shower facilities and ample warm water . Tv worked well. Quite location for good night sleep. The host was organised and attentive. The room was clean and satisfactory in every way. It was a cooler night but the room remained at a comfortable temperature. Very pleasant room. Although the road outside is busy the room was very quiet. Yass is a lovely little town and worth visiting.

I liked everything. I would have liked to have stayed longer.

A reminder, even though the taps were colour coded it was easy to forget the hot/cold taps were not in the usual positions ie. hot tap left side and cold tap right side. I usually finish my showering with a blast of cold water. I blasted the hot instead, and burnt my chest and palms. An easy mistake when you've been automatically turning the right side tap on.
