I moved to Mercure Belconnen for three weeks while my home was repaired from water damage. I am elderly and cannot walk without a walker. All the staff at Mercure, housekeeping and front desk, were outstandingly kind, patient, helpful and efficient. Canberra Labor Club, next door, can be accessed internally for snacks or meals and there are several coffee shops and a supermarket nearby. This access includes a disability lift for wheelchairs and walkers. I highly recommend Mercure Belconnen and thank the manager and all staff for making my stay so enjoyable and avhieving such a happy atmosphere.

Very easy to get too. Lots of parking available at $15.00 for the night. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade from Queen to King which was great. Room was lovely. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. You can even swap your pillows if you want to. Very clean and absolutely quiet. Didn’t hear a thing all night. Had a buffet breakfast in the club in the morning. Not a big selection but it was just enough for us so it was perfect for what we wanted, so recommend that also. Check in and out was very easy. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Took a bit to work out the aircon but got there eventually as we like the room cold always so wasn’t a big deal.

We were in Canberra for a soccer tournament. Room had a great view, was always warm and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Lots of plugs and charging ports. TV was great and we could chrome cast easily using their wifi. When we had an issue to raise it was promptly addressed and followed up. Check out was easy. Overall very relaxed and comfortable stay. Would come again.

No microwave. Bathroom with shower & toilet with frosted glass doors but little privacy. Parking an extra $15 per day.

Location was perfect for what I needed which was being close to the UC, lake side walk and plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. The bedroom comfortable and clean. The car park was also good with big parking spaces and easy access.

A small thing but thought I should mention. The day prior to our stay I got the standard remainder email from Booking.com with the hotel instructions on parking and check-in. The email clearly stated parking was $12 overnight, but during the check-in staff charged me $15. I showed him the email and he said email was out of date, that price changed on 01/Jan/2025 - my booking was on 23/01/25. I was expecting the hotel to honour the email but that was not the case. That was disappointing, not so much for the $3.00 difference but for the lack of interest.

Comfortable room - bright and clean. Convenient lift access to car park. Coffee tables in room good access for children to draw and colour in their books. Nice view of the lake.

Only one lift operational. The other was out of service for the two days of our stay. Only one remote for two TVs and the one in the bedroom kept coming on by itself - a bit spooky! Also electrical plugs were only on one side of the bed. Breakfast was in a strange place as you had to go past all the slot machines from the Labor Club. No working desk in the room.

Everything! Was clean, immaculate, smelt nice! Great view from the 9th floor. Very quiet and comfortable room. Loved the shower.

The “restaurant” is actually in the Labour Club next door (accessible from the motel). Because it’s a club, you have to sign in every time you go in there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Breakfast buffet is open for motel guests only, but lunch and dinner club is open for the public (members and guests) so it gets very busy and noisy!

Great room with nice views, excellent bathroom and toilet, very clean and modern room

Only a couple of towels, tea bags, coffee, glasses, cups and a small milk pack etc. available in the room. Extremely poor and disappointing. It does not cost much to have it more for the comfort of guests Netflix is not included, guest need their own Netflix login details. Need to be very clear and honest in room advertisements. No free water provided, Pathetic to see charged more than four dollars for a small bottle of water Though it was mentioned parking is not free, it will be better to include this in room tariff

Room was great, plenty of space, very clean and modern. Staff were friendly and very efficient and the location for me was perfect.

The restaurant were the breakfast was served was not my favourite, having to go through the pokies/casino section to get to it, the section available for breakfast was small and crowded. Only 1 small and slow automatic coffee machine which is also used for the hot water for tea meant queues to get any hot drinks. I'd suggest a different source for hot water or printed instructions on how to use the machine as there were plenty of older people trying to figure out how to use it and struggling with it. And just nit-picking, the cold meat selection was underwhelming

Very comfortable rooms, clean, lovely location. Easy to get to and once you've been on the road all day it's so convenient that the labour club is just down stairs for breakfast, dinner. I'm always happy to stay there.

Staff made another booking once I checked in the same day and took money out of the credit card without authorisation and refused to admit they made the extra booking and the mistake. Once I realised the money was taken out for the booking they made. I had booked the one room and paid for it in advance months before. The staff still won't admit to the mistake which is not good considering I stay there on a regular basis with work.

Large well appointed room with a comfortable bed, lovely clean and modern bathroom with nice toiletries, good security, an excellent gym (though I admit we didn't use it on this visit) and secure parking in the heart of Belconnen. Nice food next door at the Labor Club, accessible through the foyer. Fast elevators and extremely helpful staff.

Nothing really. I'm a having a hard time to think of any real criticisms. Maybe a better standard of instant coffee in the sachets in the room? But beyond that, faultless. Will be returning on a regular basis.
