What stood out the best was our experiencing the most helpful staff, every single one of them, that we encountered throughout our entire six days! Never intrusive, Down-to-Earth, friendly, honest and authentic! This Ramada team provided us with prompt and thorough service! We felt comfortable throughout our stay, in every instance that we have had in our travels! We will consider return to this Ramada Hotel, next time we visit Canberra. Happy to recommend this place to others, at anytime!

The bathroom 'murmuring' sound, particularly throughout the wee hours of the night, might tend to disrupt some guests' sleep.... (...and perhaps 'competing' with some of us who might be 'snoring' 🙃😉 ). But, otherwise, all's good!

the size of the room was more than I expected for what I paid, the staff were very friendly and honest about the current construction and that the restaurant was closed but provided us with other alternatives nearby, which was no issue for me. My partner and I got to enjoy the room and get a good nights sleep with no problems at all.

I never stayed in a hotel before, so I was a bit disappointed that I was not advised about the lights in the room needing a card inserted into a slot next to the door. At least I now know for the next time I visit.

On the 2nd night of my stay 2 men attempted to break in to the unstaffed hotel complex around midnight. I called the police who came within 20 minutes, but the offenders had disappeared. I recounted the experience to the reception the next morning. I hope the hotel security views the CCTV and with the assistance of ACT police, catch the 2 criminals who attended to break and enter the hotel.

Great value for money! Price can’t be beat. Room was dated but clean. TV worked this time without pixelating. Limited channels though. Booked again for June directly.

The aircon was old and made weird noises. The hallway was dark and gloomy. Carpet had seen better days. WiFi was so unreliable. Kept dropping out and could be verrry slow at times. Had to use my own data at times.

The day before, I stayed at a $120/night hotel down in Melbourne that had the world's best hotel shower and I said to myself, "You will never meet a better hotel shower than that," but Ramada Encore Belconnen proved me wrong. This shower has pressure, instant heat, and the taps only take a smidge of a twist to get a temperature change in real time. I have no idea how I have pleased the Hotel Shower Gods but I am thankful. Besides this, the Ramada is utterly value for money. Professional, appointed, friendly, stylish. I was here to see Cattle Decapitation and Fallujah at The Basement so it is 1km to that, a walk. Plus, Cô Dung (Viet restaurant), also ace and proximal. Parliament et al is a 20 min. drive but, honestly, you'll be smiling so much from the shower that that 20 mins will seem like nothing.

Staff were lovely, the man at checkin was great. The lady at check out allowed us to have a late check out as our baby was asleep, she was lovely. Beds were extremely comfortable and room was super spacious with great TV, A/C, bathroom, Microwave etc.

The bathroom was very clean and tidy, could possibly do with a spray over with mould killer just for hard to reach/clean parts of the shower doors. However this in no way actually affected the cleanliness or comfortability of the bathroom, just being pedantic, all bathrooms accumulate mould eventually in small cracks.

Easy to find in a great location. Plenty of free parking on site. Close to shops. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. Wine was a bit pricey but beer was reasonably priced. Bedding was very comfortable, good pillows, plenty of milk supplied for coffee, nice toiletries supplied including nice moisturising cream. Shower hot with good pressure. Large room, very quiet, good TV reception. Staff friendly on checking in and out.

Only issue was a sewer smell in the rooms bathroom and in the reception foyer. Reception staff aware and they said work is going to be done on this.

The staff are always friendly. We have stayed before the price is good, rooms are clean and beds comfortable. There is always plenty of parking.

There isn’t anything I didn’t like, but being older the stairs to the upper rooms are challenging. I would have Preferred a ground floor room. But I probably should have requested that myself.

Location, room size and layout, it was all good

The staff had booked us in on 2nd floor, we had made a clear note, on booking.com site in comments to say we disabled/mobility impaired, and needed a ground floor unit. They changed our booking on arrival so was ok. However NO DISABLED PARKS AVAILABLE AS STAFF HAD PARKED IN THE CLEARLY MARKED DISABLE PARKING SPOTS, and they didn’t have disable parking vouchers on their cars!! Not Happy!

It was so clean and comfortable, great location easy safe parking and great transport for those with no car. Very helpful staff. I will stay again and recommend highly. There was also an opportunity to order Gluten free meals, very important for a travelling coeliac. And did I mention very comfortable beds. Belconnen fresh food markets are quite literally in the car park.
