Spacious room, comfortable bed and great shower. Good location.

My sleep was disturbed on both nights by another guest smoking and constantly opening and closing his car doors throughout the night - not the property’s fault. I would have appreciated the coffee and milk being replenished when my room was serviced as the local supermarket was closed on the public holiday. We had to go elsewhere for breakfast (family group had four rooms booked ), it took longer than anticipated and I was not happy to find on return to the motel that my room had been cleaned before I had checked out, reception’s advice to go to the park toilets to clean my teeth was not ideal.

We were pleasantly surprised how spacious our room was and having a kitchenette was so handy. The room was well heated for the frosty winter temperatures and the extra blanket on our comfy bed kept us cosy overnight. Although our room was close to the main road we didn't really notice the traffic at all. The location was convenient within walking distance to shops & cafes. We would definitely stay here again.

Cant really fault this place. The free internet wasn't very fast so we would probably pay the extra cost for faster internet if we were staying for a longer time or for work.

The Motel apartment was very spacious and comfortable, it had all we needed and was super clean and really great. The late check-in (after 6pm) was communicated well and instructions were very clear. Overall, a great stay.

We ate dinner at the restaurant which is part of the Motel and that was not a good experience. We waited for our meals for over an hour (!), there was no apology of any kind and when I mentioned it at the end (the waitress asked me how it was) - instead of apologizing or providing any reason in a nice manner, the waitress said 'you saw how busy it was!' - and that was it. And it was just a medium sized room with tables, no people queuing outside to get in, nothing extraordinary, we'd seen restaurants way busier before and much more polite. And the prices were way too high for the quality of this place and service. Overall really not a good experience and we don't recommend this place to eat, it was a waste of time and money.

We travelled as a group of four friends and stayed in the cottage at the back of the property. Was a perfect location for us, private with a lovely garden outlook. The cabin was spacious, comfortable and had all that we needed. We also thoroughly enjoyed having the onsite restaurant (Ewe'N Me) which we would highly recommend. This is my fourth visit to this motel... it has a friendly vibe, staff are always welcoming and the motel rooms have been lovingly updated and are well maintained. The motel is located next door to a Woolworths supermarket and is across the road from the information center and parkland. it is also only a five minute walk to the shopping center, pubs, clubs and restaurants. Looking forward to our next visit.

It was very clean. The motel is walking distance to the centre. The motel has a pool which the kids enjoyed. It was quiet only if the pillows were usable we could have get some rest.

The pillows were very terrible. Very hard and uncomfortable in any position- very difficult for anyone to get some sleep. The plates were way too small for to have toasts. The lady at the front office did not explained why she needed credit card number so it took 3 goes for me to get what she needed as finally she did explain that she needed it as security for the minibar. At that point she was visibly annoyed and I told was upset too. She needs to improve on communication.

everything worked as it should no problems although heater in bathroom didnt seem as warm as per the temp setting ,but that wasnt too much of an issue as it was a bit chilly on the morning we left .

Disappointed that the laundry didnt have and soap powder available /dispensers and we had to ask fo some soap powder to wash a few days worth of clothes ;parkng was bit tight at the top of the hill ,and coming past other parked cars that were quite long and were overhanging into the driveway made it a bit awkward to get past

Clean, comfortable, convenient, and quiet. Thunderbird Motel is family owned and operated and provides good old-fashioned hospitality. The rooms are generous in size and well appointed, with comfortable beds. Room service is available for breakfast, and an in- house restaurant provides good country cooking for evening meals. We like to pay an additional $15 for the option of a room with a spa bath to relax after a day on the road. Thunderbird Motel is always an excellent and restful experience.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage at the back of the property. Spacious, well-appointed and quiet. Very nice pool area. Restaurant was excellent, had a lovely meal there.

parking can be a problem especially when there are big 4WD vehicles on the premises like there was 2 nights during our stay. It would be better if they were encouraged to park in an area at the back of the hotel as it can be difficult to get passed them when they are parked outside their rooms.

Staff meet us with a "Hello" and smile. Explained that the restaurant was open and would deliver to our room. The room was lovely big room with a comfortable lounge with coffee table. the Air conditioner was great, it wasn't blowing right over the bed like many rooms have. The shower had good pressure and nice fluffy towels. Dinner was delivered to our room with a smile. Great price $155 we will return

I had to leave early

We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit. The beds were very comfortable and the room was quiet and spacious although the layout was a little awkward since the bathroom was accessed through the second sleeping area and the queen bed was in the living area. We enjoyed our overnight stay and it wasn't a big deal - it would be ideal for a family. Very friendly reception and located a short walk to the centre of town.
