Staff! All staff were pleasant and obliging but the housekeeper is a stand-out, a natural people-person and simply the best for treating guest as a friend and very responsive to assistance. Rooms are very clean under her direction. Location is in a very leafy suburb which gives it a pleasant vibe. Can walk 1km to Dickson shops, or 500m to Ainslie shops. Bus stops are a couple of blocks away. This is a low-rise older complex but bathrooms seem to have been renovated. No lifts because it is only two floors (this is an observation, not a complaint) Very good value for a near city location. A peaceful and happy stay, thank you.

Shower over bath. Lovely grounds need a bit of TLC. Minor things as I really enjoyed my three night stay. Thank you☺️

The room was a standard size; located ground floor with easy access at the back of the property. I with queen bed, firm mattress, clean linen and cover;; shower/toilet clean and in good condition.

Arrival at reception was short and not informative. Dealt with the admin, paid in advance and issue of room cards. Reception didn't promote services ie Breakfast and Laundry facility, which we overlooked on the first morning. they have a continental style breakfast which we had on our departure morning. Courteous staff and good selection of cereals etc

I did not have breakfast in the restaurant so I cannot comment on that aspect. I liked that the motel offer free parking; much appreciated.

I did not like that I was not allowed to use a toaster in the room. I am sure this major deficiency could be resolved if you really tried. Note I understand that currently fire detection is the culprit but this can be engineered to a solution. I did not appreciate it that both of the reception staff I encountered knew absolutely nothing about the hot air balloon festival, which was the reason for our visit. It turned out that this festival is a big deal on the Canberra tourist calendar. We were able to get some quality information from a pharmacy employee but zero interest or info from motel reception. Hard to believe I bet but this was our experience at the motel. My interaction with your room servicing staff was very positive.

On arrival my toilet didn’t appear to have been cleaned or it was cleaned then used again as there was a faeces in the toilet bowl. We stayed for 4 nights and when our towels were changed over we wouldn’t get something Eg. a face washer nothing to really complain about but was annoying. Rooms could definitely be updated.

Pleasantly surprised with our stay, the location seems a little out of place surrounded by suburbia however I don't know Canberra so this may be normal! The check in staff were absolutely delightful and welcoming. The room was good with hot showers and comfortable beds. Will bookmark this location for any future Canberra trips.

The car park was a little hectic, covered in Autumn leaves which made seeing the edges of the curb very difficult. Having said that it was so windy there was nothing the hotel could've done to keep up with the leaf situation.

I have stayed here before and the hotel is located close enough to the city and perfect for heading into Dickson and all the greta food there. Great sized rooms with comfy beds. Easy convenient parking. The hotel is in a leafy quiet location too.

Although WiFi is listed as free I was told by the receptionist that there was no WiFi? It wasn't a big issue to me but others might be inconvenienced. The bathrooms were really nicely renovated but the lip in the shower needs to be higher as the water doesn't drain away quick enough to stop it spilling over onto the bathroom floor.

We booked the hotel via Booking.com as we find it comes with the pet friendly tick. Overall the place is easy to find. Room is reasonable clean and quiet at night. We were told on the spot, that the family room cannot have pet, and no other room available. We could not find such information during booking. Then we were disappointed and requested for cancellation. After a while the staff still let us keep the room as it is only for one night, while there will be $60 additional charge for our puppy, which I did not find out during booking. Overall the staff is friendly and help us change another room as the room’s aircon had water leaking.

The aircon had a water leaking issue, and it took some time for someone to come up for checking. At the end the staff let us move to another room.

Very spacious room. Clean and tidy. Located in a quiet area. But needs car to travel to the main attractions in Canberra and if travelling for business. I would stay here again as the price is really good for what u get.

Breakfast super basic. I wouldn't have breakfast here again. If planning to stay here do not puchase breakfast. Also not many options for vegans. The hotel didn't even have basic soy milk.

I found the room make up staff helpful in me understanding the operating of the remote a/c. It was faulty, maybe just flat batteries. The staff replaced it while cleaning the room and set the temperature correctly.

I would have liked ice cubes available in the fridge or from a vending machine on the 4 hot & humid nights of my stay. None available for drinks.

Location was close enough to walk to the shops, It was a nice quiet area. The room was clean and you can have breakfast there for a n extra fee

The door was hard to open had to drag it over the carpet. The bathroom was small and no room for our toiletries. Our room was not always tidy and clean when we came back from the shops, which was well after lunch and we had to look out for the cleaner and ask for clean towels and milk. We only had one chair at the desk to have our breakfast and no toasters in the room.
