What an amazing team of staff. When we stayed it was clearly very busy but house keeping staff were amazing and could not do enough to help us during our stay. Beautiful pool that was cleaned daily. Food at uncles was consistent and of great quality. A special mention to the grounds man who was very through with his role and just made sure the complex was safe and clean at all times. Also a special mention to the young Māori man who worked behind the bar who helped me when I sadly had a fall and needed medical attention. What a rock star he was to me, trying to keep me calm and safe while ambulance arrived. Thank you so much for simply being there to assist me.

Room was great. I got free upgrade to queen room with attached toilet bathrooms. Make sure you use NT govt voucher of 25% off on each booking by going to Visitor information centre , Alice Springs or ring them which brings cost to $75 to $100 a day for this hotel and it was great location. Hotel has a swimming pool and its next to Tavern which sells daily special foods as well as cheap beer as drink. Uncle's tavern is just in front of hotel. There is Coles, Subway, Banks, Woolworths and everything in walking distance. If you ever come to Alice Springs and spend few days, this is number 1 hotel for you. Room was clean and you can request housekeeping service when you go out or ask for anything you need.

I liked everything but I think one of the door lock was funny that it only worked if I press hold and pull knob to lock, unlock just because it was not fitted properly. There was kettle but no water.

The staff at reception was courteous and very well organised. The room was very neat and clean, with amenities such as coffee, cookies, milk, tea and sugar. The air conditioning was turned on before I checked in. The toiletries were nicely arranged. The wardrobe had an iron, a stand with cover, a hair dryer and an extra blanket. The bed was great and very comfortable.

The toilet entrance is a step up. It would be great if there was a yello-stripped tape was placed on it to mark the step. The shower door needs to fixed as it doesn't close.

The room was very clean.The staff were really helpful and nice.There are red neck clientele in Alice Springs and they do there best to stay normal.Honestly what staff go through against absolute dickheads is wrong. I watched a really nice Asian man on the Diplomat hotel staff have his personal space so badly abused and I have seen it before.The Asian and Indian staff were really really helpful,happy and easygoing.

I didn’t like the view from the window.The concrete car park and old tin made me feel hollow after the beautiful tour I went on and was a real letdown.Sorry about the negative part of the review. It surprised me how ugly and barren these car parks are.It doesn’t help the aboriginal community or bring back clientele.

The location in the middle of town made it very convenient for tourist-type activity; having a cafe and a pub on site made it very convenient for all meals. The food and beverages available through those facilities were very good in variety, quality and price. I stayed in one of the 'economy-level' rooms on the previous week and rated it as OK but a bit shabby; staying in a better but slightly more expensive room this time definitely enhanced my experience. So I would recommend this to potential patrons if it can be afforded. I also appreciated being able to delay check-out for an hour without extra charge.

Not much for me - but I thought the pool area could have been made more attractive to families through some attention to that facility. It is very exposed and rather unattractive in looks, landscaping and furnishing.

Price of stay was under $100 for a room. Property has a swimming pool. It’s close to all the banks, woolworths, cole’s and even visitor information center.

Room’s door knob locked in certain way which is you have to turn lnob to clockwise to open once locked and to unlock i had to pull knob to right direction…All of this happened because door was not perfectly fitted. Just this small issue needs to be fixed. Also maybe put some sign posts next to motel for room directions as I found there were many rooms and i was lost trying to find room.

Spacious comfortable room. Good location.for sights around town. Was gated and had a security door on the room door. Pool was good although had a lot of leaves in it from recent winds. Eating places very close by. Staff very friendly and helpful going out of the way to organise a taxi for us.

Security is obviously an issue here as witnessed by the hotel being surrounded by a fence, being gated and the extra metal shutter on the front door of the room. This does seem.to he an issue at hotels in Alice Springs though. We personally had no issues at all though

Fantastic location, right on the main road. Coles, Woolworths, and K-Mart are all walkable with 2-5 mins (same with many restaurants and cafes). Good wifi and A/C. Room was big enough. Comfortable bed, linens, and pillows. Clean bathroom with good water pressure and hot water. Great to have shampoo and conditioner supplied. Nice touch to have a kettle, fridge, coffee, and tea in room.

Dirty coffee mug provided as clean. No hand soap. A/C dripping, so had to move bed a little. Shower went from luke warm to scalding, so it took a little jiggling to get it right.

Central location and easy walk from bus terminal.

The curtain in my room was not quite wide enough and the left side rail was hanging off the runner. I asked reception if they could have a look at this as the sun beats in during the day and it makes the room difficult to cool down with the air conditioning. No attention was given, so I feel my request was ignored.

Room was huge, slightly dated and simply styled but clean and comfortable. Split system air conditioner worked well, shower pressure and hot water were great. Love places with an empty but good size fridge so I can store my own drinks, snacks and fruits. The restaurant and pub at the front of the motel provide excellent quality meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner - all fairly priced too.

Took a while to get the TV to work (batteries needed replacing in remote and it was left on the wrong source setting), but finding buttons and bit of patience got there. There was no cutlery in the room but a couple of teaspoons, so difficult for takeaway unless you were prepared with your own travel cutlery.
