Pool area, food options, walking distance to town. Comfy room with good sized balcony.

Staff didn't seem to want to go above and beyond. My suitcase got left in Sydney, it arrived later that evening which was fine. When it got dropped off at the hotel they called us and asked us to collect it when we come for dinner. Our room was quite a walk away from reception. It would have been nice for someone to bring it to our room as we had had a big day of travel, and I had no change of clothes for dinner! Also we called the reception to ask if they had firmer pillows, we were told - I'm not sure, ill go and see. Never heard back from anyone. Even if they didn't have a firm pillow option a follow up phone call would have been nice. Not sure why hotels of this caliber don't have pillow options, not everyone like soft fluffy pillows.

Booked 4 nights accommodation in a deluxe double room with 2 Double Beds costing $339/night including breakfast. Friendly helpful checkin. The hotel takes a $50/night (so ours was $200) bond and I was told it would be refunded within 5 working days. (It was subsequently refunded.) We were allocated room 228. There is a gated carpark on our side of the complex. Access is via room key in the slot. This is a large 2 storey complex set amongst gardens with a long walk to the rooms. There is a luggage ramp located near elevators which are situated at the end of the buildings. To access buildings you need to use your room key. Our room was comfortable, if dated, with a nice balcony overlooking the garden & pool area. Plenty of room for luggage. The beds are comfortable. The air con was quiet & worked well. The bar fridge had some long life milk in it & Instant Tea/Coffee is available but no biscuits nor bottled water. The ensuite is smallish with the shower over the bath. A rubber mat & grab handles make it more safe than normally the case. Toilettries are in pump action bottles. There is a retractible laundry line over the bath, which is useful. The room is fully serviced every day which we appreciated. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel, & we tried both. The Asian one, Hanuman, was very good, with a good wine menu & good choice of food. $102 for 2 main meals, small serve of rice & 2 glasses of wine. It seems to be run independently from Hilton. We also ate 1night at the hotel restaurant, Saltbush. The quality of the food & service was excellent. 2 main meals, of barramundi & salmon & 3 glasses of wine. Gratis rolls & butter for $117. Breakfast is held in the main building. Good selection of food to suit all types. We particularly enjoyed the freshly made omelet. Friendly helpful staff too. All up, this was a comfortable stay for us with pleasant, helpful staff.

Addressing the wifi issue at this hotel, I needed to 'sign up' for free wifi as part of the check in process. Got to the room, it didn't work, but did 1/2 way along the hall. Down to reception & got unsecured wifi details to use. The unsecured wifi was consistent. Hilton need to address the wifi issue.

The hotel has a lovely lobby area and is nicely designed. All of the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The garden was lovely and the location is very nice.

We were a party of 3 people, my husband and myself and our daughter, and we booked 1 room with 2 double beds. However, there were only 2 cups, 2 glasses and 2 towels. The wifi was only free if you are a Hilton member. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel and we ate at each one. The food and service at the Hanuman was great, but at the Saltbush, the service was incredibly slow even though there were not many people in the restaurant when we dined. Additionally, the vegetarian meal I had was very low quality and extremely disappointing.

It's a steady, reliable place to stay with friendly staff. It's a big place and it's usually a good walk to the room (I don't mind but some might). Appreciated that our room had a pleasant outlook and balcony.

People without permits took the disabled car spaces. My companion has a permit, so that was frustrating (but probably not something the hotel can control).

Pool, restaurant, rooms

That it isn’t secure and that people off the street can wander through the foyer and access every room. There should be a secure door past the restaurant so only guests with room cards can access the accomodation rooms. It didn’t make me feel safe when we saw a half naked man directing his male friend along the corridor from the foyer and beckoning him into his room for what seemed to be a ‘liaison…’ It was creepy and not very safe for other guests.

I booked via booking. Com and booked the wrong date the hotel and booking.com would not change the date so ending up having to pay a further $262 for correct date. I had already been debited $253 for incorrect date. That neither hotel or booking. Com would change. Even tho I won’t be staying on dater error date and hotel can resell the room again. Very disappointing will not use booking. Com or stay with Hilton group again.

The room was nice and well maintained. Great pillows. Bathroom was fine. The restaurant on site was excellent and there is a nice outdoor bar area and pool. I was sorry I couldn't spend more time there. It's out of town so the youth issues aren't as big a problem there. I loved the bunnies eating outside the window.

The casting system to the TVs didn't work properly. You'd set up, watch for a minute or two and then the link would die and you'd need to set up again. I gave up.

Large rooms, multiple restaurants on site, in-dining available. The creams and shower gels etc available are of great quality. I was departing prior to breakfast bar opening so they had it packed and ready for pick up earlier on my departure which was very “above and beyond” for any hotel i’ve stayed at. The staff were extremely polite, professional and very accommodating. I didnt catch the Philipino receptionist name but she was a great help and took care of my many requirements

It was all pretty good to be honest. Just be mindful the showers can be quite slippery, even with anti slip mat provided

The beds are the most comfy and pillows- always have a very good sleep there. Big hotel , older style now, but its always clean and professional . There are always reviews how old the bathrooms are- but they are fine- shower over bath though which can be slippery. Secure parking- gated , closer all day now and a fence.

Check in always take a while- but the bikkie is the reward
