Quiet location, a-few-minute walk to the Atherton hospital. Nature you can enjoy watching through the window at the back of the motel. A nature-inspired little get-away for me. Value for money indeed. I booked for a family room as no other rooms available, but very good price value for the room, more so if with companion. I also had to change my booking less than 24 hours and was accommodated with no questions asked. I had to check-out a day earlier due to direct transport availability. The facility refunded my one day with no fuss at all. I am so grateful for them accommodating my request and I highly recommended their customer service and all.

Centrally located in Atherton, but a lovely quiet location. The motel was simple, but lovely, clean and comfortable and facilities were excellent. Each room has an undercover car park directly outside. There is a small BBQ area and full guest laundry available. Beds were comfortable and fresh. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A really lovely little place to stay.

I'm quite tall and found the shower very cramped. However it was very clean and well maintained.

The staff are amazing. Love receiving after dinner mints on the bed upon arrival, its a special touch we are not used to and it was nice. Walking distance to essentials. Great location and great value for money.

Wasn't a lot to dislike. The hot water did leak a little but as far as I could see was fixed after letting them know. It did take a little while for the hot water to warm up however when we shifted into another room as we wanted to stay another night, all was great there.

Location was great for our stay

Iron was rubbish and had to ask for Replacement ironing board as ours was broken. As we were there for Granddaughters graduation iron was necessary as had flown from Brisbane and kit needed a refresh. Iron was so cheap it took me 30 mins to iron 2 shirts. Better equipment needed as we didn’t need bed making or any room service at all so we are no fuss guests so 140 odd dollars for a bed isn’t cheap as far as I’m concerned!.

The check-in was very efficient and the receptionist was pleasant. The room was a good standard with covered parking right outside the room. The room was spacious with a small area well equiped with cutlery, a microwave, fridge, cups etc and also a small table with comfortable chairs. The bed and shower were both a good standard and the room had sufficient storage space. We got a free drink voucher for the Barron Valley Hotel which was within walking distance. The room had roosting Owls nearby.

Nice little family owned motel on the outskirts of Atherton. I actually was pleased about this as it was quieter and I think safer. Room was large, with Aircon and fan. There was a fridge, micromave and the minimum to heat up and eat in your room. The back window looked onto the bush so it was nice. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom fine (shower good). Staff very friendly and helpful.

The room and bathroom were a good size and fresh , the facilities were also good. The room had a breakfast area as well as small table and bench area , the fridge was a good size and inside a wardrobe and a microwave and cutlery , cups and glasses as well as tea towel and products to wash dishes with , which was a good place to have it ,their were two built in wardrobes of large size . It was obvious that the owners have taken care to make the rooms pleasant to be in . There was a small outside verandah area that also had a table and chairs , and the parking spot in front of the room . TV and for the shower large refillable bottles of shampoo, condition and shower gel , which meant you did not have to cart your own . For cooling there was a fan , air conditioning , but also windows that could be opened with fly screens so you could just get a nice air flow of fresh air . The location was easy to find and a close by a large shopping centre which included a Woolworths and pharmacy . Although there can be some tariffing noise passing by the front of the hotel at different times of the day , it is not as loud as the morning bird calls , which are enjoyable if you like birds and their calls.

There is nothing I did not like

For a Country Town this was a very well setup Motel for overnighting or a couple of nights . The Reception was courteous , friendly and helpful . I even asked about giving my Hire Car a wash and within minutes a bucket , cloths and water from a hose was made available . Great helpful Hosts .

Not much . It did not compare to luxury City style Hotels / motels but the price did not match them either . Very little to complain about for my 2 nights in Atherton .

Beautiful setting within walking distance to the town centre. Lovely warm welcome. Comfortable beds, spacious room. Our host was extremely helpful 10 out 10 Our meal at Barron Valley hotel was 1 of the best meals on our journey, thank you for recommendation from the Motel owner. Beautiful Historical Hotel with top class service. Loved waking up the beautiful sound of the Cockatoos Yes some people may find annoying but waking with nature around is just so amazing. Please stay here on your travels, affordable and comfortable.

very clean and neat and tidy owner was so nice and friendly and done alot to make our stay great and welcoming.

couldn't figure the TV out. I was so confused. didn't ask it was way to late before we got to arrive. but if it was early the owner would had helped us straight away. I didn't want to wake owner up. was all good.
