The owners were nice & friendly. We didn't know the area but the motel exceeded our expectations, the grounds were really nice & well maintained & made you want to sit outside & enjoy it. The kids loved the pool & the rooms were clean & comfortable. We really only passed through but the town seemed lovely. Motel was outside the town centre, but imagine everyone passing through has their own transportation & wouldn't be an issue

There was a leak from the shower & no permanent bbq out - but in saying that the owners, of less than 12mths, have plans for a permanent bbq & there is restaurant available on site. They also happily set up for us upon request.

Breakfast was given a basket of ordered items and was certainly adequate as we were in a fully functional unit. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. The last night there we had dinner in the restaurant and what we ordered was excellent. One of the desserts was sticky date pudding and icecream. Best one I have had in a long time. Restaurant was licensed which was a bonus.

A small matter, but parking was about 15 metres from door. Wife has mobility issues.

The staff here are very helpful and it's a very clean and modern property for where it is. Rooms are spacious and plenty of parking. Pool is lovely in summer too as is the little courtyard and picnic table if not too hot outside.

The property is a bit out of town and that means anything you need you have to drive for. It also means that there's no phone service (or next to none) so you do have to rely on the wifi which is good however at the property.

The owners are such lovely people. Nothing is too much to help you out We stayed over the Xmas break This is our 2nd stay and would recommend it to everyone. Room is very clean and comfortable, didn’t get to the pool this time, but the grandkids just love it

The major draw of the place are the wonderful couple who run the place. They could not have been more lovely, more accommodating or more caring to my needs. The rooms are spacious and extremely comfortable, stylish and well equipped and very clean. Highly recommend this place.

Everything was perfect.

This place is a vibe. Full credit to the operators and cleaners. A safe oasis to relax and recharge in a friendly quiet environment. Meals are amazing. Ticks all the boxes. Good old country hospitality.

It was great to have a cup of tea in a decent mug. the surroundings were so peaceful and the dining area was a delight. being out of Mareeba, no traffic noise. The decor was first class. Staff were wonderful. We were late and it was no problem to cook us a late evening meal.

I have no complaints.. Will definitely stay there again.

Had planned to drive much further north but got lost and decided too tired to stick to our plain! Glad we didn't as this was a perfect stop. Joanne was warm and welcoming and a cold beer in their bar and dinner in the restaurant was just what we needed. Peaceful tropical gardens, a comfortable bed and super clean.

The room was a pleasant surprise. It looked newly furnished and painted, the shower was to die for - with some lovely toiletries too. Private, very quiet and comfortable. I was attending a medical appointment in Atherton and this was exactly the relaxation space I needed after.

I was disappointed the restaurant wasn't open the night I stayed but town is less than a 5 minute drive and it was easy enough to find a feed.
