The Receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and so was the cleaner. The Family suite that we were staying in was spacious and updated. It had comfy beds and had plenty of warm blankets. We also liked that there was a bench space with stools for us to eat our meals at and watch TV together after a long day out. The heater function on the split system AC was especially a bonus considering how cold the nights were. The Bathroom also had a body wash, shampoo & conditioner dispenser which was nice. We also liked that there was a kettle to boil water for baby's bottles, a microwave to heat up food and a toaster as well as cutlery and other utensils.

The only downfall was the gap between the main room door and the door frame which you could see through to the outside and anyone who walked by could peep through that gap. We used some of our clothes to cover these gaps. Other than that it was an enjoyable stay and our kids loved it!!

Location was good , very quiet even though located on busy road, recently updated, great shower , close to Moffatt beach with cafes. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Large room. Bedside reading lamps. 2 lounge chairs . Covered car parking.

The only issue is parking was very tight.

It wasn't too far away from where my family live

I would have liked the option to use a blanket Instead of the bed covering which was too hot for me. Room information said a blanket was in the cupboard. It wasn't. Room information said office open until 6pm. It wasn't. Closed at 5.30. So no blanket again. Had to use towel as blanket. Cost per night $220.00 . I travel alone.

Upon my arrival, I was warmly greeted by the lovely manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. The hospitality was truly exceptional, a solid 10/10 rating. The room itself was absolutely stunning. While the online photos were good, they simply didn't do justice to the remarkable upgrades and improvements made by the new owners/management. The attention to detail and effort put into making the room visually appealing was evident, and the results were truly impressive. The bathroom featured a sleek and modern design, and the shower was nothing short of fantastic. It provided a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Our room was equipped with everything we needed, including a microwave, kettle, and other convenient amenities. Additionally, there were thoughtful complimentary additions that added a special touch to our stay. The overall beachy and boho vibe of the space created a serene and relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend Moffat Beach Motel to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay. If given the opportunity, we would definitely choose to stay here again.

Friendly staff, great location, had everything I needed (toaster and crockery on request, kettle, milk, fridge, microwave). Nice that they have a pool and area to sit around it.

Bathroom was a bit old and the tub (shower flooring) was chipped and stained. Also noise from the street as it's on a pretty busy intersection. Street does quieten down at night though.

The room and bathroom were very clean and fresh feeling. Beds and pillows were clean and comfy and Annie was lovely and she also helped us check in late.

Only the things you can't help, which were out of the motel's control, like roadworks noise and the traffic noise from outside being audible through the building's front wall/window/door. But hey, we have kids who wake up early and are loud, so those things weren't really upsetting problems for us.

We loved that it provided quality at an affordable price. The location of the motel was great and accessible to so many places we wanted to visit. Management are wonderful, friendly and laid back which for us felt homely. A convenient 7/11 store is located across the road.

Absolutely nothing…

This little motel is a hidden gem amongst the Airbnb’s and holidays homes! We loved the oversized motel rooms and pool area

The road noise is around you, so if you sleep light bring some ear plugs but don’t let that detract you! Also…that’s what happens when you are central to everything!

Staff are amazing.

As the sign on the fence outside said , Clean and comfortable rooms and they were right. When anyone travels all you want is a comfortable bed and a nice hot shower and that is what we got. The room was very well presented and the staff were very helpful

In the room we had (Number 4), there are a couple of plumbing issues that need to be addressed - the taps in the bathroom were particularly hard to turn off, and even when turned off "force ably" they continued to run. Water costs are high, so not wasting water is a premium. The goose neck tape was also very loose
