The layout of the apartment worked perfectly for our family of four — it was spacious and comfortable. The location is absolutely top-notch, with the ocean literally just at the bottom of the street.

The new fridge is unfortunately quite noisy — we tried a few things to reduce the sound but weren’t able to make much of a difference. Also, we noticed there were only a couple of tea bags, very little dishwashing detergent, and the sandwich press is a bit worse for wear. None of this impacted our overall experience — we had a lovely time — but I just wanted to pass this on for your awareness.

It was just a short stroll to the street. It was also a short drive to the tourist areas. It had plenty of room and everything we needed.

It had been raining, and there was a pool of water on the balcony, in which the balcony was dirty and had not been cleaned.

I recently spent two nights on the Sunshine Coast Kings Way Apartments and it was the perfect short getaway. From the moment we arrived, the fresh sea breeze and calming ocean views set the tone for a relaxing stay. A beautiful, peaceful escape that felt just right. Would recommend to anyone looking for a coastal break, and I’d happily come back for a longer stay next time.

A couple of small suggestions: it would have been helpful to have a hand towel in the kitchen for drying hands. Also, we noticed the bathroom taps were dripping — being mindful of water conservation is always important, especially in coastal areas.

great place to stay in an ideal location. the closeness to beach facilities was excellent and an easy walk to town

the check in did not go well at all! I was given the instructions for using my 10 digit phone number for the lock code but it didn't work as the code was set to a 9 digit number!! luckily I was assisted by the cleaning staff who let us in after about 30 minutes in the cold and then we were stuck in the room because if we left we had no way of getting back in. Luckily I spotted a person who was there to help the manager who was away and he apologised for the error and gave me the the room keys! I lost nearly two hours waiting for the help. So the bad start to what was a great stay was not good

We had a great stay! The location was absolutely perfect – just a short walk to the beach, cafes, grocery stores and everything we needed. The space itself was a good size for our family, and having a dedicated parking spot was a huge bonus. We were mainly visiting to catch up with family, so we weren’t at the accommodation much aside from sleeping, but it was comfortable and suited our needs really well.

The only small downsides were the lack of some basic pantry staples like salt, pepper, oil, or cling wrap – which would have been handy when we got takeaway. Also, the dryer function on the washing machine didn’t work very well, so drying clothes was a bit tricky. That said, these were very minor issues in what was otherwise a great stay.

This room had everything we needed for a family. Kitchen stocked with all items needed, good beds, laundry, outdoor clothes line. It was a good size and a good layout for us. There were no pics of it the parking space online but we also liked that there was secure undercover parking - there was a coded gate and space around our park to store our bikes. The carpark locks combined area, not individualised garage spaces but as the complex was small we felt the security for our bikes was good. It only a short walk down to the kings beach bikeway so easy just to use this path for access to bikeways and the town - we didn't use our car at all and kings beach was close enough to walk carrying surfboards etc. Hosts were easy to communicate with and check in procedure was smooth (our key was also available earlier than I expected which is always nice - I phoned to see if it was and it was ready!)

There was only one key to get in so we had to stick together to keep access to the apartment. This is not a problem, but the apartment had nothing additional in it that wasn't required - very minimalist. Often places on booking.com have lots of random extras like puzzles or board games or DV player. In this one all the cupboards were empty except for the items you would expect to be in the kitchen - basic tea and coffee. There were also wall mounted body wash and shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Just info for people staying here - not a reason not to stay. Everything was really well set up for a weekend away for a family.

One of the highlights was how close it was to everything — just a very short walk to the beach and the local shopping precinct, which made getting around super easy. We loved being able to step out for a swim or browse the shops without needing to drive anywhere.

"Extra blankets and a kitchen hand towel would have been a bonus, but apart from that, my friends and I loved our stay." Would stay again.

Loved the decor, the convenience of self checkin and online checkin, the person I spoke to on phone when we arrived was lovely and very helpful. Overall an amazing stay that made us feel at home while we were moving house and getting settled into our new property.

How far away my car was from my unit. We had lovely weather, but if it was raining and I was carrying groceries that would have been horrible.

Location was great. Although we booked Kings Way apartments we were in the units next door across the street. The apartment was nicely decorated, showing a little wear and tear but acceptable.

Another hand towel for the hand washing basin in the toilet would have been nice. And we only got one face washer. There were a few hairs left in the bathroom. The air conditioner in the lounge room was great if you leave the bedroom doors open

Comfortable, clean.

Extra blankets would have been handy as the existing ones were quite thin & not that warm & not that suitable for winter., Extra pillows would have been good too, the pillows on the bed were flat & probably need replacing.
