Close to lots of restaurants, close to the beach and lovely broad walk down to Kings Beach. Easy access to those things. The reception staff were lovely. Lots of parking available at the property. The downstairs bar available was handy & happy hour is great with well priced drinks/cocktails. I would stay there again and would take my kids (hopefully the pool renos would be finished by that time)

It’s very loud especially at night if you are close to the front. The water pressure and shower head could have been better. Took a little while to get the aircon working properly. All minor things in the grand scheme of things.

The resort was good. Very clean . The cleaners would come everyday to take the Rubbish, change your towels etc . Nice pools , good staff Big apartments and the location spot on .

If I wanted to stay all day in pool ,I couldn’t. Would be so boring . the Bar/Cafe was open from 7am till 10 am . And then from 3pm till 7pm. If I wanted a drink or a coffee between 10 to 3 I couldn’t. Also in all resorts I have been to, there is a bit of music . There was no music , and once I tried to put some music ,I was told to put the volume down . I know it’s a family resort but still no drinks coffee and music . I was on holiday . The cafe area was really nice . We didn’t get to enjoy much .

Lovely clean resort, with great access to esplanade and shops. Staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Easy access and the apartment had everything we needed for an relaxing and enjoyable stay. The bottle of bubbles and card acknowledging my husbands BIG birthday was very special and appreciated and made the visit extra special - thank you.

The master bed was very firm and not comfortable and also the configuration of the bathroom with the toilet roll holder in the way of the toilet and the shelf in the shower in the way. Also no bench space in the master bathroom to place items to use.

We had a really great stay at RUMBA. We were allocated an apartment on the same level as the pool and bar which was greatly appreciated as we had 3 children with us so this made it easy to access the pool etc. We had a 3 bedroom apartment and it was spacious and sufficient for our stay. We had a stunning view of bullocks beach. The location is good with cafes and restaurants below the hotel as well as it being within walking distance 5-10 mins to Main Street and shopping centre. We also walked along beach track down to the big wheel and grabbed coffee each morning. There are heaps of parks along the way. We loved bullocks beach because it has a huge beach - sand area, the water is shallow and calm, perfect for kids! We enjoyed happy hour from 4-6pm $14 cocktails. My toddler knocked a full drink and the gentleman at the bar replaced it for free- which was greatly appreciated!! We stayed 4 nights and it was the perfect amount of time. Probably wouldn’t stay for longer as we’d probably get bored.

If I had to pick something to criticise, the pool areas dont get a lot of direct sun but that’s just the positioning of the resort facing the beach when the sun rises to the left of property and sets on right rather than in front/behind. We got a premium room and I expected the kitchen to be renovated too but it wasn’t - but we still loved our apartment. I’d be hard pressed to find things we didn’t like. We had such a lovely stay.

Great facilities. Pool was amazing. Our room was perfect, we had some ocean views and some views of the buildings next door and the air conditioning units. Very close to other shops, bars and the beach is just over the road. Perfect spot! Staff were very helpful and very friendly and allowed us to check in early.

Thought we paid for an Ocean view, which we got, partially, so must have paid for a partial ocean view room. Was still a lovely room. Popular for families which is fantastic and lots of children running around but not the atmosphere we were looking for on this holiday. We definitely still really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Front desk was SO lovely, shout out to Peter ( think that’s his name ) and Jackson. For a smooth CKI and CKO. We weren’t expecting a room on high level with a sea view but we got one! The house keeping as well were so lovely. The pool facilities are fabulous. The beds are SOOO comfortable. Maybe a little too much… (joking). I work has a hotel reception and have expectations and they succeed all of them and went above and beyond

Honestly, I can’t think of anything.. it books out quickly so book in advance!!!

Property was very well located and the pool area was exceptionally good. The apartment was a good size and well set up. It was clean and well air conditioned. The free coffee and muffins in the morning were nice surprise. The receptionist on booking in was excellent.

The bar staff were very indifferent and bordering on rude every time we attended. They refused to serve drinks 15 minutes before the advised closing time until we complained at reception. Finding a free unallocated car park in the basement was difficult at times.

The location was excellent. The pools are great. The rooms were nice, and everything worked well, excepting a couple of power points when a fuse tripped. However, the problem was fixed as soon as reported, which was much appreciated. We unintentionally left a flask, and they contacted us that day about it which was also appreciated. But it was the location, presentation, and facilities that got my attention. Free muffins were a nice touch. We would definitely look to stay again when next in Caloundra.

A breakfast room would have been nice. Perhaps there is one but I didn't see it.

The rooms were fantastic - alot bigger than they look online, sparkling clean and very comfortable beds. We had a beach view apartment and enjoyed the view from our balcony. Staff were very friendly and helpful, great cocktails from the bar during happy hour !!

Only thing i could fault was the little bar closed well before 9 at night like stated , although there is restaurants straight underneath. After 8pm the whole town is closed up , so not recommded if your like the night life.

Great place to stay! Close to beach, town, restaurants and cafes. 30 min drive to Australia zoo. Kid friendly beach swimming and sand right outside the resort (resort even supplies buckets and spades. 3 pools and spa, bar/cafe onsite - with complimentary tea/coffee and muffins every morning. Comfortable beds. Lovely staff from reception, bar/cafe and cleaning - all super friendly, warm and go the extra mile to ensure you enjoy your stay.
