Fantastic views, excellent location. Comfortable beds, clean & tidy. You won't get better value for money right on the waters edge.

Very dated, could use a paint job. But in saying that if you look past this still a great place to stay if you're not fussy about having modern cons.

La Promenade lower ground apartments are a perfect spot for a few days with the family. The children can even fish off the Balcony. Popular Bulcock's Beach was a one minute walk away. It is a patrolled beach, great for swimming and sand castles. Two adults and two children fitted easily into the apartment. The air conditioning worked fine and the beds were comfortable. It is an older complex but the fabulous position makes up for any short comings.

The apartment only had one bathroom and a separate toilet but we never found it a problem. The big problem came from Booking.com not stopping scam emails purportedly coming from La Promenade including in their app. It caused anxiety wondering if the booking was real and when I discussed it with La Promenade, as a small company they are impacted by these scams. Booking had nowhere on their app for me to report the problem. As a global company I would expect better.

As soon as we stepped into the room, we were captivated by the water views, and the terrace offered the perfect vantage point to take in the sights and sounds of Pumistone Passage, as well as enjoy a wine and meal. We were also delighted to discover the spa bath in the centre of room. The property's location was ideal, with a wide range of cafes, restaurants, live music, shopping, and beaches just a short stroll away. Another nice touch we noticed was the fishing rod holders - we're already looking forward to bringing our rods and enjoying some fishing from the lower units on our next visit.

Air con was a little noisy at night, but very efficient. (Kept us nice and cool) Would have liked the TV to be able to swivel facing couch but was fixed to wall. ( not a big deal though) Bed was comfy but pillows were a little uncomfortable. Fridge crisper had not been cleaned. ( rest of fridge very clean so obviously overlooked on this occasion- not noticed till leaving as didn't use)

We were on the top level which was an executive suite I believe. It was perfect for us. We had room to move which was fabulous and it was lovely to see the water. The location is phenominal! We would stay here again for the convenience of being able to walk everywhere with the kids and having access to the beach but also great restaurants.

The property is old, which is fine, but not maintained overly well. Minor things would make a big difference. Water damage around the tub fixed, having a baby gate at the bottom and top of the stairs outside would make this more family friendly, a TV in the room with the single beds instead o the master where the other TV is right next to it and can be seen from the bed anyway would make more sense, especially if there is an occasional chair in the room.

I have stayed at La Promenade before and enjoyed my visits there Unfortunately this time l recieved a very late texr just after l booked through booking.com . Saying that Unfortunately there would be "No" Electicity in the Apartment from 10 pm ( 2200) to 0500 .

As lm on a oxygen Concentration run by electricity, This wasn't suitable to check into the apartment. I recoeved the TXT at 1648 ( 4.49 pm) And office closes at 5 pm. I couldn't even ley the office know . That this Unfortunately is not acceptable due to health conditions, Now I've been left with paying for a room l couldn't even Sleep in. I wouldn't mind but it was over $200 not to be able to sleep. The staff have been helpful, but lm the one left battling Booking.com to get a refund 😔 😟 🙁 😠 😡

The view was amazing from 302. Great sundeck and barbeque area. The beds were very comfortable. Good size shower/bathroom. It's location is perfect for cafes and restaurants. The shops and Sunday market on Bullcock street are close too. Great for walks along the boardwalk. Beautiful beaches. Free parking on site. Watching the Ospreys catching fish. I would return. Foxtel was a bonus.

Whilst there was a kitchenette, the area was extremely small with very little work top space. Ok for making tea, coffee & toast. The Aircon had to run constantly to prevent condensation from the vent. As it was very humid, that was fine. It was quite noisy from traffic, particularly buses. However, it did quieten down and we slept so well. It could do with blackout curtains as it is a very bright space. Unfortunately, one set of roller blinds broke on our first night and awaiting repair/replacement.

Well appointed for what we needed . Great aspect . Great area to explore .

The way booking.com and management of the property handled our personal information eg we had two credit cards compromised trying to pay in advance that the property demanded . Inconvenience to have to arrange cash into their trust account otherwise the booking would be canceled . Then booking .com authorised some how for the property to take money off another credit card without our authority so that the cost was therefore paid twice . A lot of problems getting this money back . This really spoilt the whole trip . I will book directly to where we need to stay in future as booking . com can not be trusted with our personal information .

The apartment had everything we needed, it was right next to a lovely beach front cafe and restaurants of all kinds were a 2 min walk away all on the beach boardwalk, just fabulous. Washer and dryer, lovely large shower, and privacy with a large curtain to separate anyone wanting to stay up and watch TV.

The outdoor light (not controlled by us) shone through the gaps in the 3 blinds that were on the sliding doors. The security screen was dusty and dirty, not good for Asthmatics if the wind was blowing through it. The bed needs a good mattress topper, not all of us are over weight, mattress too firm.

The location was amazing. Right on the water. Rooftop area was spectacular. Views to die for. Restaurants everywhere spoil for choice. Lovely coffee shop underneath the building.

I have a couple of complaints. The floor had not been cleaned as there was sand everywhere. They was no chux in the kitchen. I really should have gone down to reception to ask for one as I am sure it was just forgotten by house keeping. Everything else was so good that I just told my husband to keep his thongs on and stop complaining.

Loved every moment of our stay. Warm welcome by Sean who is also very accommodative. Big spacious room, comfortable bed and lovely to wake up to the views of the waters. In spa a bonus with a TV in the room and a large TV in the lounge. Views from the balcony are spectacular.. Has a cute kitchenette with fridge and microwave, cooking utensils, cutlery etc. The cafe downstairs has nice breakfast and friendly staff. Location absolutely perfect! Walking distance to so many restaurants, ice creamery and the fantastic board walk. 3 mins walk to a restaurant called Three which serves a 3 course lunch for just $25/- Another beautiful restaurant called Acqua , which is 5 mins walk with yummy food too. Everything was so good.  Loved our stay and will be back again. Highly recommend!
