The location is superb! We have stayed in Caloundra before but this was the first time staying in Monaco, Caloundra. The facilities, sea view and size of the apartment was great!! Huge balcony!! the view takes your breath away! The price was reasonable since booking.com had a special offer, otherwise, it would have been a bit expensive. The size of the apartment was big enough for us and has everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen has absolutely everything you can think of! The beds were quite comfortable and fresh bed linen/towels. This is for apartment 605, no idea if the rest of the apartments will be the same.

A bit dusty around the beds walls and also under the TV unit and blinds. It needs a spring clean! Also the covers of the outdoor furniture and cushions could be washed, were quite dirty. A bit of TLC won't hurt this apartment!!

Beautiful clean apartment. Heaps of space. Comfy bed. Great water views, however, our apartments view was slightly inhibited by the building in front, and also when I sat down, the rails were a bit high for me to see. There was a whistling sound at night from the wind outside. There was a door snake (door draft blocker), but it didn't stop it. In hindsight, perhaps opening one of the sliding doors slightly may have stopped the issue. Location is great, easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

The view over the ocean and rivers and across to the glasshouse mountains was amazing. There were many restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean, and the reception staff were helpful and friendly.

I would suggest an upgrade to room entry to fobs rather than keyed entry. Another improvement would be a Dropbox at the carpark exit for guests leaving out of reception hours as under the current system guests are required to drop the key at reception and then are unable to access their car via the lift.

Excellent location, great views as promised, spacious and had everything you need for a short or long stay. Secure parking and easy check-in and check-out process. Didn’t really interact with any staff so can’t comment on that. It was a great stay overall and no issues with anything.

Property is little dated (sofa had that old smell, tiles chipped in some places) and some areas could do with more attention (eg there was dust on some cabinets etc), although overall it was well maintained. Note that pool workers in the neighbouring property were there on Saturday as well, not just Monday-Friday as advised in the booking. Was noisy to sit on the balcony but couldn’t hear much with doors closed (we were on the 6th floor). One side of the bed didn’t have a power point accessible. Not a major issue but would have been more convenient.

The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. Large SS fridge oven microwave and dishwasher and glass cooktop. High quality beds and bedding and bathrooms a very generous size. A huge spa bath and very large shower in the ensuit and towels were a bath sheet size which was appreciated. Free Foxtel Secure floor and carpark. Reception very warm and welcoming.

Only a 2 seater couch and one extra single lounge chair. When 4 people occupy the apartment there is only enough lounge seating for 3 people. Cushions need replacing the back of one quite grubby. No shampoo or conditioner that I could find which was expected.

Our go-to holiday destination is usually Caloundra, and we’ve explored a few places around the Sunshine Coast. Out of all of them, Monaco was the best fit for our family. With young children, having everything close by is a huge plus—and Monaco delivers just that. The beach is within walking distance, and everything we needed was so accessible. We had our best holiday yet at Monaco, and we’d highly recommend it to families looking for a relaxing and convenient stay.

The property itself we enjoyed. Location and apartment was great

The beds were not very comfortable and pillows hard (all three of us didn’t sleep well and actually left one night earlier because of this. The front entry was all glass with no curtains of draw blinds which let light in making the second bedroom (with two single beds) not dark enough combined with window in that bedroom still having light filtering through during the night.

The apartment was beautiful - spacious and very comfortable. The view over the beach, passage and glasshouse mountains was absolutely spectacular, with generous balconies. Located 50m from Bulcock Beach esplanade (but a quiet street) and very close to the main street, groceries and all the restaurants. The coastal walking tracks are fabulous. We didn't use our car while we were there! Was a wonderful relaxing stay and we will definitely return.

This is the best property I have stayed in on the Sunshine Coast. Everything was perfect. The bed and lounge were super comfortable. The view was amazing. On-site activities, pool, games room etc were above and beyond other places I have stayed. A lot of thought has been put into The Monaco to make it an exceptional place to stay. Oh and the view is divine and food and beach in walking distance, as is the town centre.

That I had to leave.

We had a spacious 2 bedroom on the 9th floor. View was stunning & the sunsets were gorgeous! 2 bathrooms was a bonus. Location is fantastic with close proximity to waterfront, restaurants & shops. All only 5 minutes away. Very quiet, warm (we did use the heat pump as was a little cold even in July). Bed comfy, very clean. Lifts to carpark great.
