I’ve stayed here numerous times over the years and every stay is great. This time we ate at the restaurant there and the prices were reasonable and the food was so good! Every one there is very friendly and always accommodating to whatever needs you may have. I highly recommend Route 66 if you are looking for affordable and comfortable accommodation.

The only thing I can think of is that I wish the air conditioner could be able to be a bit colder by maybe a couple of degrees. The air con was cold and worked very well but both my partner and I like our rooms very cold. That’s just a personal preference though.

I love the way it was designed, especially the spar room The pool was amazing, and the people who worked there were so kind and helpful it was so close to everything in town my partner and I are from the Sunshine Coast, so next time we travel back-up that way we would love to stay there again 😀 Thanks for letting us stay there 🙏

Close to sporting venue, friendly staff.

There was a gap underneath the door, which let the smell of outside (smoking) into the room at 2am when there were people outside smoking. Maybe a rubber strip might be helpful on the door.

Loved this charming motel! Clean, cozy rooms with great amenities and a budget-friendly price. The friendly owners made us feel at home. Highly recommend it for a nostalgic and comfortable stay!

Large TV screen with good sound. Two tables to place things on. Air-con worked really well. There was both undercover parking and open car parking with the parking lots appearing more generous than usual.

The only think is there could have been a flatter pillow as I like very flat pillows, however the pillows were very comfortable.

No tea or coffee in the room but milk was provided. Restaurant has small operating hours but good pricing.

The staff were lovely, the room was incredibly clean, and the food was amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was wonderful.

The pool could have been a little tidier, but that is all.
