I had a cooked breakfast for 5 days in a row. The first morning my egg was runny but the following mornings breakfasts were cooked perfectly. The dinner meals were large and very tasty and well priced. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this motel to anyone. Despite being on the main road, the traffic noise was not a bother. Great place and convenient. It was good that it included the breakfast, cooked if you wanted or cereal.

There was no little shampoo or conditioner containers. A couple of nights there was a gentleman in the next room that was an extremely bad snorer but it wasn’t that annoying. The snoring was very melodious. Lol

On balance this Motel is sensational. Most likely the best Motel we have stayed at that surprises you from the moment you check in. Met by the owner at reception in a friendly manner and on the wall behind the reception counter was a dining menu that woud compete with any restaurant menu with just as many "specials of the day" as the standard menu the Motel has created. On further inspection, we identified an outdoor eating area that was well set out and ready for guests to enjoy the great food on the menu. As the weather was a little cool, we decided to order room service. The other measure of commitment to excellence of the team at 707 was the way the host responded to an issue we had with the smart TV in our room. Our host came over immediately and attended to the matter, also offering to replace the TV if the issue persisted. She actually unboxed another TV just in case! The food we enjoyed for dinner was truly wonderful and reflected the value add of staying at the 707 after a long road trip. And just to top off our stay, the host offered a complimentary {sensible sized] egg, beacon and toast breakfast, that is offered to all guests. A happy place to stay with all the 707 reflecting their desire to please their guests. Thanks 707 Team....well done!

Very rarely is breakfast included at these rates. On top of that, they have their own kitchen with a chef that knows how to cook. He made the best bacon (and eggs) I've tasted. All the staff were extremely helpful and obliging.

The only downside is the proximity to the highway. But at least the trucks don't travel overnight.

Sharon was very accommodating. Unit was very clean. Cleaners and staff were beautiful. Chef was great and complimentary breakfast was delicious. Quite a bit of bacon with egg and toast. Yum. Bed comfy. Situated in ideal situation. Close to shops, food outlets and petrol station. Although on the main Street, it was very quiet inside the unit. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. Very happy with our stay here! Our room had a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. Very quiet and had everything we needed. A hot Breakfast was included in price. We ordered an evening meal to our room and it was delicious and homemade and very reasonably priced.

My only complaint was there was no power point in bathroom for hairdryer or toothbrush.

The last time I stayed it felt like I was going to keep rolling out of the bed not to sure what happened there I think bed was too soft which is just a personal thing and the doona being sewed at the ends I kept getting my feet caught everytime I got out of bed so did my husband

Bed was comfy, good pillows and great shower. The included breakfast at check in to heat up early the following morning before work was great as nothing else besides fast food outlets are open over night.

The old Louvre window rattled a bit when the air conditioning unit outside has the fan switch on. But only a minor issue. Once asleep doesn't matter.

The manager was very helpful, to me, especially as I had left some clothes behind and had to turn around about half an hour into the next stage of my trip. Big thumbs up for that. The meal I had for dinner was fantastic, in their outdoor area, especially as it was a very warm evening in Emerald. The bed was very comfortable and I nearly overslept my alarm, it was that comfortable .

Being almost on an intersection of two of Central Queensland busiest highways (A4 & A7) it attracted a lot of heavy road trains, the noise should have been a problem, but it wasn't too bad. So really there wasn't that much to dislike about the motel.

It was clean and tidy, staff were great, breakfast tasty. Bed was comfy, the wifi worked. Can't fault the stay, it's an older motel that's been given a lock of paint. Does what it says on the tin.

Traffic was a bit loud, rooms don't seal very well so the smokers outside make your room stink and the bright lights shine through the curtains. Par for the course in a mining town motel! I've stayed in worse camps and worse hotels.

Spacious room, on busy road but quiet at night. Comfy bed, good shower. Provides food delivered to room if you don’t want to go out, there is a communal eating area. Breakfast is included and delivered to room. Obviously a popular motel for travellers and workers as it was packed.

No shampoo but that’s ok. Has hairdryer.
