It was a comfortable large motel room. Very clean and good aircon/heating. They have crockery supplies for using to cook in the microwave. Good shower. Bed was firm but comfortable. Pillows were quite high and firm so we suggested they have the 2 spare pillows in cupboard as a softer version so you can have a choice. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We would stay again the next time we are there.

This has been my default stay whenever I visit or pass by Emerald and have always been good value for money.

I live four hours away and sometimes needed a late checkout, and usually, this was done either free of charge or for a fee. Today when I requested for a late checkout for a fee (so that my sons can have a sleep in) answer was "absolutely not", (Which was even said in a very sacastic way), not because room is booked but because cleaners are running out of work. Answer should have been can you pay for the cleaners which would be an absolute yes. The older gent who used to be here was absolutely a gem and went out of the way in making the stay enjoyable. I have my doubts about the guy who was manning the reception this time.

Clean and comfortable. Great location. The motel owners/managers went out of their way to welcome us and accommodate our extra vehicle.

I was surprised that there were small dogs in the room next to us. They kept coming up to the fence that divided the units and were a little noisy, especially in the morning. As an animal lover, I didn’t make a complaint because they were clearly beloved pets. But I didn’t sit outside for as long as I would have liked because the dogs were bothered by me being out on the patio.

This is the second time we have stayed. This stay was to support a client with a disability who is receiving support from the NDIS. The room provided easy access to the two bedrooms and was conveniently located near the bathroom and toilet. Other facilities included a good-sized fridge and kitchen with all the essentials we needed.

Location was great as we were half way through our journey north and we didn't have to deviate from our path. Lots of food options close by and a Woolies and a bottle shop which always comes in handy. Kids loved the pool after spending 9 hours in the car and we had a comfy night sleep despite the storm that came through Emerald that night.

Was just looking for a bed for the night room was clean and tidy and large. Everything worked well. I recommended a work colleague to stay there the following night she was travelling through town. Also I’ll be travelling back through here 3 to 4 times over the next two months. I’ll stay here again.

No breakfast, the hot water took a long time to come through which we were informed would happen due to a faulty pump, but it was a big waste of water. Lighting is good however it's very bright when you first wake up.

Comfy beds in the twin room. Nathan and Anna went out of their way to accommodate us when our car unexpectedly broke down.

You must book your room in advance because the motel fills every night without fail.

The unit set up was great, neat and tidy, and had everything that we needed.

Our main bed was terribly uncomfortable, but the kids were great. The main bed could use either a lamp or a duller Light bulb in the roof above. I really wanted to stay up and read but couldn't because the bed lights were really bright, not just a dull lamp light.

Had to get my son home to recover from a stroke . We had travelled from Cardwell qld (flooded area) to emerald as we could only travel 5hrs a day and this was a perfect stop from Charters Towers.
