We made a stuff up and booked our room twice. The staff were amazing in discovering this, contacting me to check and then providing a full refund despite the cancellation policy of late notice. We have an autistic child and stayed 1 night for several weeks in a row and the staff ensured we had the same room to help keep our little person feeling safe. They went above and beyond to make us, and our child feel welcome and special. Great facilities, clean rooms and comfy beds. Great location near food. Very grateful for finding this gem for our family. Thank you so very much Mel & Trevor!

Great room which was really quiete - family room on the top floor. Had a fridge/ microwave/ kettle and 2 TV's and 2 bathrooms !! Really good lay out if you had children or were travellning with people. very very good value! The Lady who ran it - Gayle or Gay -fabulous and very helpful.

nothing. Perhaps people should be aware that if is a busy hotel during the week. but I would highly recommend it and would stay here again anytime.

Worker Utes backed into car park at front of the room, spewing diesel engine fumes into the room very early in the morning, after keeping us awake, arguing late into the evening. Most unpleasant.

The Manager, Matthew was very friendly and helpful. The Motel is older style, maintained well. There was a good shower with plenty of hot water and good air con.

Maintenance was being carried out on the wifi which effected our TV reception right at prime time which was a bit disappointing ( a 1 off) and smoking laws in NSW for Motels and BnB's require smoking to be only off the property. Apparently in Qld you can smoke outside the room, which a few people did and the smell of smoke wafted into our room during the night. ( Not the Motels fault) Otherwise a comfortable stay.

Lovely unit close to all facilities. Very comfortable and clean.

No curtain on one window above kitchenette and the light streamed in.. really needs a curtain. Poor water pressure.

Mineral Sands Motel is within easy walking distance to fast food outlets, Aldi, Station Square shopping centre and Bunnings, to name a few. Although it's situated on one of the main streets, we didn't hear any traffic during our stay. The room had cutlery and crockery which is unusual for a motel, but was definitely appreciated by us. There was plenty of bench space. The bed was comfortable and there was a lounge chair in the room.

The legs of the chairs are rather thin and make it difficult to move the chair backwards when someone is trying to get up off the chair as the feet dig into the carpet due to being small. My partner has a few health issues which prevent him from being able to sleep right through the night and the lounge chair was a bonus, however it was a bit low for someone with mobility issues- I do understand though, that the room was not listed as a room for the disabled.

Very spacious and comfortable room. The staff are friendly and helpful and the Motel is in a great location that makes it easy to get to anywhere in Maryborough.

The lady at reception was very friendly. She contacted us prior to our arrival to ensure that she would be there to greet us when we eventually arrived. She gave us some fruit to eat when we arrived and showed us how to use the washer and drier in the laundry. We liked the balcony with table and chairs that were available for our use. The motel was within walking distance of the town and shops.

There was some traffic noise but this was a minor concern.

Location was good and the staff were very accommodating with my late arrival.

Even with all the windows shut somehow next door's cigarette smoke was still making it's way into the room.
