Tap in bathroom was high and movable so filling the kettle was easy..not like every other motel I have been in. Room was spacious with extra single bed, very well laid out so nothing was cramped. There were rails next to the toilet and in the shower, perfect for anyone with mobility issues. All rooms were on ground level. The BBQ area had a sink and cupboards full of crockery and cutlery, and had a lovely water outlook.

The room was very clean. The linen was crisp, towels soft and absorbent and the doona warm and fluffy. The amenities (kettle, tea,coffee, cookies, fridge) were great. The proximity to the canal perfect. The pool looked great too. The staff were very nice. I loved the hydroponic plant 🪴

The bathroom was a bit cold and definitely sleep with its door shut as there was an odd smell in there. (But it was clean). Don't expect a view out your windows .The spa was closed and looked years out of action.

The rooms are clean and comfortabla and the manager was delightful and very helpful. There is a little kitchen out by the canal and pool that had additional cooking facilities which was very useful. This was also a nice place to sit.

This is an older motel, so not your flash beach side apartment. The car entrance is a little run down and doesn't do the motel any justice. It was the cheapest accommodation we could find at short notice and it wasn't that cheap. But that could also be my expectations having done alot of remote travelling.

The manager is very courteous & responsive to queries such as providing an additional towel for me to wash my hair. Be aware walls are very thin: can hear neighbours just at normal speaking voice & traffic sound at night so ensure earplugs or head phones if you are noise-sensitive (I always travel with these so not an issue for us). Very close to centre of town and esplanade plus there is a small shopping centre in next block with several eating places, a bottle shop and an op-shop. Water is very hot with terrific water pressure; beds are very comfortable; room is large & very clean; bar fridge, microwave & kettle immaculate; individual soaps, shampoo (can use as body wash); lovely thick towels including face washers. Highly reccomended.

Not the fault of the hotel but had a very unreasonable neighbour who we could hear on his phone complaining about us being "too noisy" to the manager: The frist time around 9pm, I was alone but speaking very quietly on the phone to my husband. The second time was when my friend arrived and we were sitting having a cuppa, conversing on the quieter side of 'every day' volume (this was around 10pm) and we could hear him on the phone going off to the manager again - including telling her "they must be on drugs or something"!!! First time that has ever happened in my 50 plus years travelling domestically & internationally...

There are restaurants and a convenience store nearby. The motel is close to a river, and you can get a great view sitting on their private dock. The host is very nice and introduce to us the local attractions.

There is a main road in front of the motel, so it is very difficult to see the motel. We had to try a few wrong turns to get there. They offer a microwave, which is great, but there were no containers (plates, bowls) to put the food in.

I could not find the motel at first. Once in Kyamba Court, I had to park and walk around to see where it was.It must be the worst motel frontage and entrance I have ever seen. However, once I went in near the rooms, I was greeted with the most friendliest and helpful staff member. She let me into my room as I had requested early checkin.She was exceptional, I thought , making sure I was comfortable with everything.So, yes, you can not always judge by first appearances.

Owner is very welcoming and helpful with any inquiry. Location is central to Moolooaba with beach, shops and attractions all within walking distance of hotel. Undercover carpark was nice to have and hotel has decent size pool, private jetty and beach with use of kayaks on request. Highly recommend staying here 5⭐

No ability to cook food in room but there was outdoor kitchen next to pool with seating avail.

Just spent 4 nights at Kyamba Court Motel. We would certainly stay there again. Yana, was a lovely, helpful and kind person. We found the room clean and the bed really comfortable. The shower was fantastic with great hot water. We were on the main road but traffic noise certainly wasn't an issue. The kitchen area was great for breakfast in the sun. A fantastic spot- close to everything.

The staff were exceptionally welcoming and made every effort to assist you in any way. The motel, while an older style, is exceptionally clean. This cleanliness led to it feeling like a newer establishment. Parking right outside you unit door, which is always a plus when driving. The position of the motel, while on a main road, is regardless, relatively quiet. It even has a hidden gem of an area out by the river which is great for a quiet drink in the evening. By then, traffic is down to very little. Will stay again.

Exceptionally clean. The owners clearly put a lot of effort into making it comfortable for their guests, especially the outdoor kitchen area. We were offered use of the kayaks in the river at no cost. The owner was very personable and friendly. Beds could be a little comfier but as I use mattress toppers at home, this is purely subjective. Would stay again just for the warm welcome and chats with the owner who had amazing customer service and genuinely cares about the guests.
