We were very impressed with the lovely, clean and well cared for motel. We were put into a disability friendly room due myself being disabled and the room was very well planned for anyone with a mobility disability. I cannot rate the Reef Gardens Motel high enough, the bed was very comfortable and the shower has great pressure. The owners were cheerful, friendly and helpful. We will be returning in the future.

Easy to find on the highway. Beautiful new bathroom with rainfall shower. Clean modern linen. Basic well stocked kitchenette. Undercover parking. Really appreciated being able to book last minute.

Could not connect to the wifi but phones still had reception. A little bit cool without blankets for the beds. No washing up liquid so used a bar of soap. Probably could have resolved all of these if we asked but were so tired from a long drive.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and spacious. All common areas were well maintained. Bed was comfortable.

There was no remote control to use the air conditioning. A box of tissues would have been nice. I didn't like receiving an email from them requesting that I rate them 10/10. I rate my experience.

Looked like a bit of mould in bathroom shower area i would still visit again as it serves its purpose. Only stay 1 night due to sports in Mackay. 2 adults 2 teens

Lovely husband and wife managers. We were on motorbikes and the lady was so kind to even drive us to the pub and then came later and picked us up! This was totally unexpected. Especially kind as they are not young and both battling their own health problems. Thank you so much for going above and beyond.

Very convenient location. It was very neat and tidy. Recently renovated. The owners were very friendly and nice. Excellent accommodation.

Its on the highway so noisy at nights as trucks are passing.

Due to flash flooding and storms we got stranded in Proserpine for 5 days with no accomodation. John and Julie at Reef Gardens Motel found us a room and went above and beyond to help us throughout our stay. They provided us with clean towels every day of our stay and nothing we asked was too much. They cleaned our room consistently and offered to drive us to the local supermarket so we could stock up on some food until the weather had cleared and the airport was back up and running. Thank you both for looking after the 3 of us during this tricky time!

Very helpful staff. I asked for breakfast and they provided cereal, milk and juice. I was a bit cold the first night, so asked for a blanket and they were happy to provide extra blankets as well.

Nothing - had to stay due to a last minute cancelled flight meaning lots of people ended up turning up to the motel at once. This was handled brilliantly by the hosts who were really helpful and friendly.
