We booked our stay here last minute after our Whitsundays boat 2 day boat tour got cancelled due to a possible cyclone! The apartment was super spacious which was much appreciated as it rained the full two days were stayed here. The bedroom was very comfy and the kitchen was well equipped. We also had a large outside area which we would have loved to have used if the sun had come out. We felt it was quite a long way to walk to the Airlie beach centre- however maybe we wouldn’t have felt it was long if the weather had been better! The pool was also great! Staff were also very helpful!

Loved the whole costal relaxed vibe of the apartment! Was peaceful, quiet and so relaxing. We were on the bottom floor but we were able to go out into the courtyard and sit and watch the ocean and the sunset. Situated just out of Airlie but everything was easily accessible. Will definitely book again when we come back to Airlie

The checkin system is slightly confusing as they have a boom gate that you can only get past with a key that is supplied after checkin, so we blocked up the driveway as we couldn’t get into the supplied check in parking behind the gate. The only other thing I could say is that they charge $5 per pool towel to hire during your stay. All other places we stayed at with a pool supplied pool towels

The apartment was spacious and reasonably clean. We were right next to the pool, which was nice. The staff were always very helpful and attentive.

The kitchen equipment was good (Nespresso coffee machine, sandwich press, toaster), except for the lack of pots and pans (there was only one, quite nice, pot/pan). The AC unit in the main living area was so noisy that watching tv with it on required us to turn the volume up. The location is a bit inconvenient if you don’t have a car (which we didn’t), as it’s a 20+ minutes walk to the closest grocery store, and about 25+ minutes into Airlie Beach’s main street

Apartment is not equipped for self catering guests. No oven proof dishes, no extra blankets, dishwasher but no pods, no basic kitchen needs like salt & pepper, salad bowls. Apartment is in need of some maintenance, especially cupboard under sink & door. Ants in kitchen. Although there is a table setting outside, the unit lacks dining space. Iron needs replacing as the plate has been broken. What's missing are the personal touches ike coasters, place mats & decorative vases.

Marina Shores is in an excellent location providing you don't mind walking. The view was good and the room was really laid out well. The staff were super efficient and fulfilled all problems brought to their attention.

There were a few problems with unit 213 at Marina Shores. While the layout was excellent and comfortable the whole apartment could do with a serious refresh. The back patio was so dirty you couldn't walk out onto it. We had several problems with the kitchen the main being the dishwasher feel out of the cupboards when you opened it but this was addressed immediately by the maintenance man. The servicing of the room was terrible.

Gorgeous place to stay, such a peaceful spot looking over the water & boardwalk. The sunsets were just amazing. Room had all the plates, cups etc - everything was clean & easy to find. Linen was clean & room was immaculate. Easy parking, checkin very simple & was with a person and not a key safe. At the reception desk they have tour brochures & are happy to assist with general queries. Getting into town,there’s a shuttle you can get for $ but we didn’t end up needing it. We enjoyed the walk into town as it was a cooler time of year & such a beautiful view. We shared the walkway with joggers, scooters, bikes & many friendly walkers -Note - it is a descent distance from the cbd the walk is mostly flat. Being away from the noise was perfect for our stay. If you prefer to drive it’s a super short drive to town or bigw etc if needed. Overall we were extremely happy with our stay & will return to this beautiful accommodation.

I should have asked for a hard bed. The lounge is a bit saggy general wear nothing drastic.

Very easy to find and located near to Airlie beach town (short taxi ride). Beautiful accommodation. We stayed 2 separate nights, our first apartment was on an upper floor and had stunning views over the sea. Slight downside was wifi wasn’t working but this was working by the time we returned a few days later. Our second apartment was ground floor and near the pool, therefore no views which was disappointing. All in all very comfortable stays. Check in is easy and reception staff cheerful and efficient. There is a very useful check-in/out facility for outside working hours.

This was a beautiful place to stay, although a little dated. The room was clean, the view was awesome and the bed was the comfiest we have ever had! Just a short drive to the Main Street, plenty of walking paths, places to eat within driving distance and a relaxing getaway. :)

There was nothing terrible about our stay, including the facilities and local sights. The only thing that was a slight issue (and we certainly didn't let it ruin our trip), the room was not ready at 2pm and we had to wait about 40 min, but we enjoyed the view in the outdoor settings :)

I spent a week here with my partner in a one bedroom apartment. We were very happy with our stay. The room was a good size and the location was perfectly hidden from the main street without feeling excluded. Pool area was amazing, clean and tidy. It would be nice if there was pool towels included in the rooms though, maybe we just didn’t find it. Kellie in the reception was very service minded and provided us with a lot of information at our check in, about places to eat and recommended places to visit. She also told us we could use the gym of another resort free of charge in Airlie beach since marina doesn’t have one. We can’t wait to go back there next week to get even more out of our stay.

Location was very good, walkable to everything . Views excellent. Staff excellent. Pool excellent and being heated made a real difference.. parking secure and undercover. Maintenance staff were excellent in replacement of faulty microwave. Washer and dryer great addition. Bed very comfortable. Great tv channels, Foxtel. Good size tv.

Apartment is dated. Kitchen units old and one door hanging off hinges slightly, wouldn't shut properly. Lack of ovenware and cookware. If renting an apartment then you need to have a decent stock of kitchenware. Very old style fridge freezer which we hit our heads on the freezer handle a number of times No indoor seated dining. One of the hob rings did not work fully. Bathroom very dated. Definitely not a five star apartment any longer unless updated.
