The apartment had everything we needed, including thoughtful touches like dishwasher tablets, a hairdryer, and an iron with an ironing board. The pool was conveniently located right next to our apartment, which was perfect when my little one wanted a swim. The location was great, although the walk back up the hill could be a bit of a challenge. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.

The location and the rooms are beautiful! especially loved our balcony looking out on the water! Lovely spacious apartment and the beds are super comfortable! Good kitchen facilities and washing facilities. The pools are lovely aswell.

The hill is not for the faint-hearted. Luckily, we were comfortable enough walking up and down to the town which is quite close. The view is worth but definitely a word of warning. Stair only access to upper levels. Not ideal if you have accessibility issues.

Great apartment with balcony overlooking over the garden area. Comfortable and large 2 bedroom accommodation, although we only had access to one of the bedrooms but that was all that we had requested. Large lounge with dining area and much appreciated aircon. Pool a much welcome addition. The location is great for accessing town, close enough but quiet but as others have stated it's a bit of a climb back up the short but steep hill....taxis in town will accept the short trip though so not a problem. Manager Cathy went over and above to assist us with booking trips and attended to any requests we asked.

We had a good sized 2 bedroom apartment with comfy beds and well equipped kitchen and bathroom. The pool had a lovely outlook and BBQ facilities, which we used one evening and dined near the pool. I liked how it wasn't too close to the main street of Airlie Beach (we could hear in the distance the music from the nightclubs, nothing that affected our sleep though). Very good comms from Cathy and was helpful booking our shuttle to the airport.

There is no lift to get to the 1st or 2nd floors. I'm sure reception would take your bags up if needed, but just something to be mindful of.

Quiet location at the top of a hill, with great views of the marina. Pool looked nice and well maintained, but we didn't have time to use it.

Cathy at reception was extremely rude. She wasn't at reception upon our arrival and did not pick up our calls. We waited 20 minutes and when she finally showed up she didn't even greet us or acknowledge the fact that we had been waiting. She asked my friend to wait outside while she checked us in because she wanted to "stay away from southern germs" (we are from a southern state and we were not unwell with symptoms of an infection). When she realised we were offended she went on a rant about how she can't run her business if she catches an illness from us southerners.

Great views, comfy bed, lovely pool. Close to town, one steep hill to navigate (about 150m) then the rest fairly flat. 5-10 min walk down to main part of town, 15mins to Woolies. There are good shuttle bus services that do pick up & drop off straight to the apartments. Some activities & pubs offer free shuttle bus services. Airport shuttle bus was $42 return.

The manager seemed a bit grumpy, wasn’t very friendly or approachable (a bit over worked or been there too long). I asked for one extra loo roll & she was very reluctant to hand one over. Our toaster didn’t work (was replaced tho) & I think some of the other electrical appliances & power points probably need to be checked/tested. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Nice apartment with a nice terrace with a view on the harbour. 10mins walking from main street. Fully equipped kitchen. (But we prepared just a coffee in the morning). Pretty clean.

The apartment needs a refresh. We found a big cockroach in the kitchen in the morning (despite having no food at all). The girls from the reception promptly provided us with a new spray. We could hear lot of noise from the apt above. Basically it's all wood so if those upstairs walk around you hear everything and it was pretty annoying.

The location was great. Close to everything. The pool facilities were amazing. Such good value for money. Warm friendly complex. Amazing sunsets as we were bbq-ing dinner and swimming in the pool. Will miss it.

The bathroom was a little mouldy and not super clean around the sink etc. We stayed in a room accommodated for 6 yet not enough things like glasses/ plates/ coffee plunger (which was just 1 mug) for all of us.

Great lady on reception who helped us take our bags up three flights of stairs. Room was clean and very well equipped. She gave us great advice on telling us to use the local taxi service to return from dinner. The hill going up to the apartments is a fifteen degree up grade. The hill is only about 100 metres but we appreciated the advice and got a taxi back for only $5.80.

We had a garden view apartment which was a Booking.com recommendation upgrade. Cost an extra $12, I don't think it was worth it.

I'm always apprehensive when booking an apartment online, but I need not have worried...Airlie Apartments delivered! The apartment was clean and tidy, and provided everything we needed - full kitchen facilities, for when we needed to eat in, including a BBQ poolside. The location was great, so close to Airlie's main street...no need to catch courtesy buses to get in and out to where the action is, we could come and go as we pleased. Cathy, the manager, was very helpful, providing us advice and assisting us in booking tours. She even worked her day off to greet us when we arrived on a Sunday (thanks Cathy!). We weren't expecting our linen to be changed during our stay, but we came home one day to fresh towels, which was a nice touch. The view...wow! We knew our apartment had a sea view, but the view exceeded expectations, it was gorgeous. During the day we overlooked the turquoise waters across the harbour, in the evening the sunsets were beautiful...and once the sun set the lights over the harbour glistened. We also had a view over the swimming pool which added to the holiday vibe. I would definitely recommend Airlie Apartments.

The view that I mentioned was only possible due to the elevation of the apartment...yes, it's up a hill. It didn't bother us (as we needed some exercise to work off our holiday eating!) but for some it may be tough. The view certainly made the few minutes of leg burn worthwhile! The soundproofing of our apartment wasn't the best, we were woken most mornings to movements outside. To be fair, when booking we were made aware that the soundproofing of our particular apartment could be an issue. Anyway, who has time for long lie ins when you have so much to explore, even the early morning views over the harbour...it probably did us a favour!
